CVE-2023-42754 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 5.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel ipv4 stack. The socket buffer (skb) was assumed to be associated with a device before calling __ip_options_compile, which is not always the case if the skb is re-routed by ipvs. This issue may allow a local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to crash the system.
CVE-2023-39198 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 7.5 High
A race condition was found in the QXL driver in the Linux kernel. The qxl_mode_dumb_create() function dereferences the qobj returned by the qxl_gem_object_create_with_handle(), but the handle is the only one holding a reference to it. This flaw allows an attacker to guess the returned handle value and trigger a use-after-free issue, potentially leading to a denial of service or privilege escalation.
CVE-2023-39194 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 3.2 Low
A flaw was found in the XFRM subsystem in the Linux kernel. The specific flaw exists within the processing of state filters, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially leading to an information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39193 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The sctp_mt_check did not validate the flag_count field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39192 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The xt_u32 module did not validate the fields in the xt_u32 structure. This flaw allows a local privileged attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read by setting the size fields with a value beyond the array boundaries, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39189 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 5.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The nfnl_osf_add_callback function did not validate the user mode controlled opt_num field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-5157 3 Fedoraproject, Mariadb, Redhat 17 Fedora, Mariadb, Enterprise Linux and 14 more 2024-11-15 7.5 High
A vulnerability was found in MariaDB. An OpenVAS port scan on ports 3306 and 4567 allows a malicious remote client to cause a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4133 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-15 5.5 Medium
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs when the cxgb4 device is detaching due to a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-4132 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more 2024-11-15 5.5 Medium
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the siano smsusb module in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs during device initialization when the siano device is plugged in. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-4004 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 10 more 2024-11-15 7.8 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter in the way a user triggers the nft_pipapo_remove function with the element, without a NFT_SET_EXT_KEY_END. This issue could allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2023-3772 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more 2024-11-15 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to directly dereference a NULL pointer in xfrm_update_ae_params(), leading to a possible kernel crash and denial of service.
CVE-2023-3255 3 Fedoraproject, Qemu, Redhat 4 Fedora, Qemu, Advanced Virtualization and 1 more 2024-11-15 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the QEMU built-in VNC server while processing ClientCutText messages. A wrong exit condition may lead to an infinite loop when inflating an attacker controlled zlib buffer in the `inflate_buffer` function. This could allow a remote authenticated client who is able to send a clipboard to the VNC server to trigger a denial of service.
CVE-2020-8286 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 22 Mac Os X, Macos, Debian Linux and 19 more 2024-11-15 7.5 High
curl 7.41.0 through 7.73.0 is vulnerable to an improper check for certificate revocation due to insufficient verification of the OCSP response.
CVE-2023-6693 3 Fedoraproject, Qemu, Redhat 4 Fedora, Qemu, Advanced Virtualization and 1 more 2024-11-15 4.9 Medium
A stack based buffer overflow was found in the virtio-net device of QEMU. This issue occurs when flushing TX in the virtio_net_flush_tx function if guest features VIRTIO_NET_F_HASH_REPORT, VIRTIO_F_VERSION_1 and VIRTIO_NET_F_MRG_RXBUF are enabled. This could allow a malicious user to overwrite local variables allocated on the stack. Specifically, the `out_sg` variable could be used to read a part of process memory and send it to the wire, causing an information leak.
CVE-2023-6546 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 9 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2024-11-15 7 High
A race condition was found in the GSM 0710 tty multiplexor in the Linux kernel. This issue occurs when two threads execute the GSMIOC_SETCONF ioctl on the same tty file descriptor with the gsm line discipline enabled, and can lead to a use-after-free problem on a struct gsm_dlci while restarting the gsm mux. This could allow a local unprivileged user to escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2019-11358 11 Backdropcms, Debian, Drupal and 8 more 114 Backdrop, Debian Linux, Drupal and 111 more 2024-11-15 6.1 Medium
jQuery before 3.4.0, as used in Drupal, Backdrop CMS, and other products, mishandles jQuery.extend(true, {}, ...) because of Object.prototype pollution. If an unsanitized source object contained an enumerable __proto__ property, it could extend the native Object.prototype.
CVE-2023-29404 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 5 Fedora, Go, Ceph Storage and 2 more 2024-11-15 9.8 Critical
The go command may execute arbitrary code at build time when using cgo. This may occur when running "go get" on a malicious module, or when running any other command which builds untrusted code. This is can by triggered by linker flags, specified via a "#cgo LDFLAGS" directive. The arguments for a number of flags which are non-optional are incorrectly considered optional, allowing disallowed flags to be smuggled through the LDFLAGS sanitization. This affects usage of both the gc and gccgo compilers.
CVE-2023-5455 3 Fedoraproject, Freeipa, Redhat 25 Fedora, Freeipa, Codeready Linux Builder and 22 more 2024-11-14 6.5 Medium
A Cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in ipa/session/login_password in all supported versions of IPA. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the user into submitting a request that could perform actions as the user, resulting in a loss of confidentiality and system integrity. During community penetration testing it was found that for certain HTTP end-points FreeIPA does not ensure CSRF protection. Due to implementation details one cannot use this flaw for reflection of a cookie representing already logged-in user. An attacker would always have to go through a new authentication attempt.
CVE-2024-23301 4 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Relax-and-recover and 1 more 4 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Relax-and-recover and 1 more 2024-11-14 5.5 Medium
Relax-and-Recover (aka ReaR) through 2.7 creates a world-readable initrd when using GRUB_RESCUE=y. This allows local attackers to gain access to system secrets otherwise only readable by root.
CVE-2023-4001 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 4 Fedora, Grub2, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-11-13 6.8 Medium
An authentication bypass flaw was found in GRUB due to the way that GRUB uses the UUID of a device to search for the configuration file that contains the password hash for the GRUB password protection feature. An attacker capable of attaching an external drive such as a USB stick containing a file system with a duplicate UUID (the same as in the "/boot/" file system) can bypass the GRUB password protection feature on UEFI systems, which enumerate removable drives before non-removable ones. This issue was introduced in a downstream patch in Red Hat's version of grub2 and does not affect the upstream package.
