CVE-2019-13033 | 3 Cisofy, Debian, Fedoraproject | 3 Lynis, Debian Linux, Fedora | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
In CISOfy Lynis 2.x through 2.7.5, the license key can be obtained by looking at the process list when a data upload is being performed. This license can be used to upload data to a central Lynis server. Although no data can be extracted by knowing the license key, it may be possible to upload the data of additional scans.
CVE-2019-12957 | 2 Fedoraproject, Glyphandcog | 2 Fedora, Xpdfreader | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
In Xpdf 4.01.01, a buffer over-read could be triggered in FoFiType1C::convertToType1 in fofi/FoFiType1C.cc when the index number is larger than the charset array bounds. It can, for example, be triggered by sending a crafted PDF document to the pdftops tool. It allows an attacker to use a crafted pdf file to cause Denial of Service or an information leak, or possibly have unspecified other impact.
CVE-2019-12922 | 2 Fedoraproject, Phpmyadmin | 2 Fedora, Phpmyadmin | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
A CSRF issue in phpMyAdmin 4.9.0.1 allows deletion of any server in the Setup page.
CVE-2019-12854 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Due to incorrect string termination, Squid cachemgr.cgi 4.0 through 4.7 may access unallocated memory. On systems with memory access protections, this can cause the CGI process to terminate unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service for all clients using it.
CVE-2019-12838 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |

CVE-2019-12817 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.0 High |
arch/powerpc/mm/mmu_context_book3s64.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.15 for powerpc has a bug where unrelated processes may be able to read/write to one another's virtual memory under certain conditions via an mmap above 512 TB. Only a subset of powerpc systems are affected.
CVE-2019-12815 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Proftpd and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Proftpd and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
An arbitrary file copy vulnerability in mod_copy in ProFTPD up to 1.3.5b allows for remote code execution and information disclosure without authentication, a related issue to CVE-2015-3306.
CVE-2019-12802 | 2 Fedoraproject, Radare | 2 Fedora, Radare2 | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
In radare2 through 3.5.1, the rcc_context function of libr/egg/egg_lang.c mishandles changing context. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact (invalid memory access in r_egg_lang_parsechar; invalid free in rcc_pusharg).
CVE-2019-12614 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.1 Medium |
An issue was discovered in dlpar_parse_cc_property in arch/powerpc/platforms/pseries/dlpar.c in the Linux kernel through 5.1.6. There is an unchecked kstrdup of prop->name, which might allow an attacker to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash).
CVE-2019-12529 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
An issue was discovered in Squid 2.x through 2.7.STABLE9, 3.x through 3.5.28, and 4.x through 4.7. When Squid is configured to use Basic Authentication, the Proxy-Authorization header is parsed via uudecode. uudecode determines how many bytes will be decoded by iterating over the input and checking its table. The length is then used to start decoding the string. There are no checks to ensure that the length it calculates isn't greater than the input buffer. This leads to adjacent memory being decoded as well. An attacker would not be able to retrieve the decoded data unless the Squid maintainer had configured the display of usernames on error pages.
CVE-2019-12528 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.10. It allows a crafted FTP server to trigger disclosure of sensitive information from heap memory, such as information associated with other users' sessions or non-Squid processes.
CVE-2019-12527 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
An issue was discovered in Squid 4.0.23 through 4.7. When checking Basic Authentication with HttpHeader::getAuth, Squid uses a global buffer to store the decoded data. Squid does not check that the decoded length isn't greater than the buffer, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow with user controlled data.
CVE-2019-12526 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.9. URN response handling in Squid suffers from a heap-based buffer overflow. When receiving data from a remote server in response to an URN request, Squid fails to ensure that the response can fit within the buffer. This leads to attacker controlled data overflowing in the heap.
CVE-2019-12525 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
An issue was discovered in Squid 3.3.9 through 3.5.28 and 4.x through 4.7. When Squid is configured to use Digest authentication, it parses the header Proxy-Authorization. It searches for certain tokens such as domain, uri, and qop. Squid checks if this token's value starts with a quote and ends with one. If so, it performs a memcpy of its length minus 2. Squid never checks whether the value is just a single quote (which would satisfy its requirements), leading to a memcpy of its length minus 1.
CVE-2019-12523 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.1 Critical |
An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.9. When handling a URN request, a corresponding HTTP request is made. This HTTP request doesn't go through the access checks that incoming HTTP requests go through. This causes all access checks to be bypassed and allows access to restricted HTTP servers, e.g., an attacker can connect to HTTP servers that only listen on localhost.
CVE-2019-12450 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
file_copy_fallback in gio/gfile.c in GNOME GLib 2.15.0 through 2.61.1 does not properly restrict file permissions while a copy operation is in progress. Instead, default permissions are used.
CVE-2019-12449 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Gvfs and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.7 Medium |
An issue was discovered in GNOME gvfs 1.29.4 through 1.41.2. daemon/gvfsbackendadmin.c mishandles a file's user and group ownership during move (and copy with G_FILE_COPY_ALL_METADATA) operations from admin:// to file:// URIs, because root privileges are unavailable.
CVE-2019-12447 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Gvfs and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.3 High |
An issue was discovered in GNOME gvfs 1.29.4 through 1.41.2. daemon/gvfsbackendadmin.c mishandles file ownership because setfsuid is not used.
CVE-2019-12402 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 20 Commons Compress, Fedora, Banking Payments and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
The file name encoding algorithm used internally in Apache Commons Compress 1.15 to 1.18 can get into an infinite loop when faced with specially crafted inputs. This can lead to a denial of service attack if an attacker can choose the file names inside of an archive created by Compress.
CVE-2019-12221 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in libSDL2.a in Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) 2.0.9 when used in conjunction with libSDL2_image.a in SDL2_image 2.0.4. There is a SEGV in the SDL function SDL_free_REAL at stdlib/SDL_malloc.c. |
