CVE-2020-1945 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 54 Ant, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 51 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.3 Medium |
Apache Ant 1.1 to 1.9.14 and 1.10.0 to 1.10.7 uses the default temporary directory identified by the Java system property java.io.tmpdir for several tasks and may thus leak sensitive information. The fixcrlf and replaceregexp tasks also copy files from the temporary directory back into the build tree allowing an attacker to inject modified source files into the build process.
CVE-2020-1934 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 13 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0 to 2.4.41, mod_proxy_ftp may use uninitialized memory when proxying to a malicious FTP server.
CVE-2020-1935 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 25 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 22 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.8 Medium |
In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99 the HTTP header parsing code used an approach to end-of-line parsing that allowed some invalid HTTP headers to be parsed as valid. This led to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely.
CVE-2020-1927 | 9 Apache, Broadcom, Canonical and 6 more | 17 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System, Ubuntu Linux and 14 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.1 Medium |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0 to 2.4.41, redirects configured with mod_rewrite that were intended to be self-referential might be fooled by encoded newlines and redirect instead to an an unexpected URL within the request URL.
CVE-2020-1752 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnu and 2 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Glibc and 7 more | 2024-08-04 | 7 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability introduced in glibc upstream version 2.14 was found in the way the tilde expansion was carried out. Directory paths containing an initial tilde followed by a valid username were affected by this issue. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by creating a specially crafted path that, when processed by the glob function, would potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This was fixed in version 2.32.
CVE-2020-1760 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.8 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Ceph Object Gateway, where it supports request sent by an anonymous user in Amazon S3. This flaw could lead to potential XSS attacks due to the lack of proper neutralization of untrusted input.
CVE-2020-1751 | 3 Canonical, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Glibc, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-04 | 5.1 Medium |
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in glibc before 2.31 when handling signal trampolines on PowerPC. Specifically, the backtrace function did not properly check the array bounds when storing the frame address, resulting in a denial of service or potential code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2020-1730 | 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Libssh and 3 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Libssh and 4 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in libssh versions before 0.8.9 and before 0.9.4 in the way it handled AES-CTR (or DES ciphers if enabled) ciphers. The server or client could crash when the connection hasn't been fully initialized and the system tries to cleanup the ciphers when closing the connection. The biggest threat from this vulnerability is system availability.
CVE-2020-1700 | 4 Canonical, Ceph, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Ceph, Leap and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the way the Ceph RGW Beast front-end handles unexpected disconnects. An authenticated attacker can abuse this flaw by making multiple disconnect attempts resulting in a permanent leak of a socket connection by radosgw. This flaw could lead to a denial of service condition by pile up of CLOSE_WAIT sockets, eventually leading to the exhaustion of available resources, preventing legitimate users from connecting to the system.
CVE-2020-1472 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when an attacker establishes a vulnerable Netlogon secure channel connection to a domain controller, using the Netlogon Remote Protocol (MS-NRPC). An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could run a specially crafted application on a device on the network. To exploit the vulnerability, an unauthenticated attacker would be required to use MS-NRPC to connect to a domain controller to obtain domain administrator access. Microsoft is addressing the vulnerability in a phased two-part rollout. These updates address the vulnerability by modifying how Netlogon handles the usage of Netlogon secure channels. For guidelines on how to manage the changes required for this vulnerability and more information on the phased rollout, see How to manage the changes in Netlogon secure channel connections associated with CVE-2020-1472 (updated September 28, 2020). When the second phase of Windows updates become available in Q1 2021, customers will be notified via a revision to this security vulnerability. If you wish to be notified when these updates are released, we recommend that you register for the security notifications mailer to be alerted of content changes to this advisory. See Microsoft Technical Security Notifications.
