CVSS v3.1 |
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.0.14878. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of ObjStm objects. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-4846.
Tiandy IP cameras 5.56.17.120 do not properly restrict a certain proprietary protocol, which allows remote attackers to read settings via a crafted request to TCP port 3001, as demonstrated by config* files and extendword.txt.
Marp versions v0.0.10 and earlier may allow an attacker to access local resources and files using JavaScript.
| Uniscribe in Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, and Windows 7 SP1 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory via a crafted web site, aka "Uniscribe Information Disclosure Vulnerability." | In Moodle 3.x, glossary search displays entries without checking user permissions to view them. |

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.1.21155. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of the xTsiz member of SIZ markers. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-5013.
The Windows Hyper-V component on Microsoft Windows Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an information disclosure vulnerability when it fails to properly validate input from an authenticated user on a guest operating system, aka "Hyper-V Information Disclosure Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8707, CVE-2017-8711, CVE-2017-8712, and CVE-2017-8706.
GNU Emacs version 25.3.1 (and other versions most likely) ignores umask when creating a backup save file ("[ORIGINAL_FILENAME]~") resulting in files that may be world readable or otherwise accessible in ways not intended by the user running the emacs binary.
An exploitable memory corruption vulnerability exists in the handling of the MXIT protocol in Pidgin. Specially crafted MXIT MultiMX message sent via the server can result in an out-of-bounds write leading to memory disclosure and code execution.
Revive Adserver before 3.2.3 suffers from Information Exposure Through Discrepancy. It is possible to check whether or not an email address was associated to one or more user accounts on a target Revive Adserver instance by examining the message printed by the password recovery system. Such information cannot however be used directly to log in to the system, which requires a username.
EMC RSA Archer 5.4.1.3, 5.5.3.1, 5.5.2.3, 5.5.2, 5.5.1.3.1, 5.5.1.1 is affected by an information exposure through an error message vulnerability. A remote low privileged attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability to use information disclosed in an error message to launch another more focused attack.
A vulnerability was discovered in NetIQ Sentinel Server 8.0 before 8.0.1 that may allow leakage of information (account enumeration).
An information disclosure vulnerability in Bluetooth component could enable a local malicious application to access data outside of its permission levels. This issue is rated as Moderate due to details specific to the vulnerability. Product: Android. Versions: 4.4.4, 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2. Android ID: A-33899337.
BOOK WALKER for Windows Ver.1.2.9 and earlier, BOOK WALKER for Mac Ver.1.2.5 and earlier allow an attacker to access local files via unspecified vectors.
CMPXCHG8B emulation in Xen 3.3.x through 4.7.x on x86 systems allows local HVM guest OS users to obtain sensitive information from host stack memory via a "supposedly-ignored" operand size prefix.
ZTE OX-330P, ZXHN H108N, W300V1.0.0S_ZRD_TR1_D68, HG110, GAN9.8T101A-B, MF28G, ZXHN H108N use non-unique X.509 certificates and SSH host keys, which might allow remote attackers to obtain credentials or other sensitive information via a man-in-the-middle attack, passive decryption attack, or impersonating a legitimate device.
In FreeBSD before 11.1-STABLE, 11.1-RELEASE-p4, 11.0-RELEASE-p15, 10.4-STABLE, 10.4-RELEASE-p3, and 10.3-RELEASE-p24, not all information in the struct ptrace_lwpinfo is relevant for the state of any thread, and the kernel does not fill the irrelevant bytes or short strings. Since the structure filled by the kernel is allocated on the kernel stack and copied to userspace, a leak of information of the kernel stack of the thread is possible from the debugger. As a result, some bytes from the kernel stack of the thread using ptrace (PT_LWPINFO) call can be observed in userspace.
In Joomla! 1.5.0 through 3.6.5 (fixed in 3.7.0), mail sent using the JMail API leaked the used PHPMailer version in the mail headers.
