CVE-2026-33816 1 Jackc 1 Pgx 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
Memory-safety vulnerability in github.com/jackc/pgx/v5.
CVE-2024-27304 2 Jackc, Redhat 3 Pgproto3, Pgx, Advanced Cluster Security 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
pgx is a PostgreSQL driver and toolkit for Go. SQL injection can occur if an attacker can cause a single query or bind message to exceed 4 GB in size. An integer overflow in the calculated message size can cause the one large message to be sent as multiple messages under the attacker's control. The problem is resolved in v4.18.2 and v5.5.4. As a workaround, reject user input large enough to cause a single query or bind message to exceed 4 GB in size.
CVE-2026-41889 1 Jackc 1 Pgx 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
pgx is a PostgreSQL driver and toolkit for Go. Prior to version 5.9.2, SQL injection can occur when the non-default simple protocol is used, a dollar quoted string literal is used in the SQL query, that string literal contains text that would be would be interpreted as a placeholder outside of a string literal, and the value of that placeholder is controllable by the attacker. This issue has been patched in version 5.9.2.
CVE-2026-27820 2 Ruby, Ruby-lang 2 Zlib, Zlib 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
zlib is a Ruby interface for the zlib compression/decompression library. Versions 3.0.0 and below, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.2.0 and 3.2.1 contain a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Zlib::GzipReader. The zstream_buffer_ungets function prepends caller-provided bytes ahead of previously produced output but fails to guarantee the backing Ruby string has enough capacity before the memmove shifts the existing data. This can lead to memory corruption when the buffer length exceeds capacity. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.0.1, 3.1.2 and 3.2.3.
CVE-2026-43402 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kthread: consolidate kthread exit paths to prevent use-after-free Guillaume reported crashes via corrupted RCU callback function pointers during KUnit testing. The crash was traced back to the pidfs rhashtable conversion which replaced the 24-byte rb_node with an 8-byte rhash_head in struct pid, shrinking it from 160 to 144 bytes. struct kthread (without CONFIG_BLK_CGROUP) is also 144 bytes. With CONFIG_SLAB_MERGE_DEFAULT and SLAB_HWCACHE_ALIGN both round up to 192 bytes and share the same slab cache. struct pid.rcu.func and struct kthread.affinity_node both sit at offset 0x78. When a kthread exits via make_task_dead() it bypasses kthread_exit() and misses the affinity_node cleanup. free_kthread_struct() frees the memory while the node is still linked into the global kthread_affinity_list. A subsequent list_del() by another kthread writes through dangling list pointers into the freed and reused memory, corrupting the pid's rcu.func pointer. Instead of patching free_kthread_struct() to handle the missed cleanup, consolidate all kthread exit paths. Turn kthread_exit() into a macro that calls do_exit() and add kthread_do_exit() which is called from do_exit() for any task with PF_KTHREAD set. This guarantees that kthread-specific cleanup always happens regardless of the exit path - make_task_dead(), direct do_exit(), or kthread_exit(). Replace __to_kthread() with a new tsk_is_kthread() accessor in the public header. Export do_exit() since module code using the kthread_exit() macro now needs it directly.
CVE-2026-43406 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: prevent potential out-of-bounds reads in process_message_header() If the message frame is (maliciously) corrupted in a way that the length of the control segment ends up being less than the size of the message header or a different frame is made to look like a message frame, out-of-bounds reads may ensue in process_message_header(). Perform an explicit bounds check before decoding the message header.
CVE-2026-43407 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in ceph_handle_auth_reply() This patch fixes an out-of-bounds access in ceph_handle_auth_reply() that can be triggered by a message of type CEPH_MSG_AUTH_REPLY. In ceph_handle_auth_reply(), the value of the payload_len field of such a message is stored in a variable of type int. A value greater than INT_MAX leads to an integer overflow and is interpreted as a negative value. This leads to decrementing the pointer address by this value and subsequently accessing it because ceph_decode_need() only checks that the memory access does not exceed the end address of the allocation. This patch fixes the issue by changing the data type of payload_len to u32. Additionally, the data type of result_msg_len is changed to u32, as it is also a variable holding a non-negative length. Also, an additional layer of sanity checks is introduced, ensuring that directly after reading it from the message, payload_len and result_msg_len are not greater than the overall segment length. Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning system that helps users structure their content. In versions 2.50.0 and below, a user with course editing role could upload a SCORM ZIP package to write files outside the intended directory. This issue has been resolved in version 2.50.1.
CVE-2026-23734 1 Xwiki 1 Commons 2026-05-21 N/A
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Versions prior to 18.1.0-rc-1, 17.10.3, 17.4.9, and 16.10.17 allow access to read configuration files by using URLs such as http://localhost:8080/bin/ssx/Main/WebHome?resource=/../../WEB-INF/xwiki.cfg&minify=false, leading to Path Traversal. The vulnerability is can be exploited via resources parameter the ssx and jsx endpoints by using leading slashes. This issue has been patched in 18.1.0-rc-1, 17.10.3, 17.4.9, 16.10.17.
CVE-2026-8467 1 Phenixdigital 1 Phoenix Storybook 2026-05-21 N/A
Code Injection vulnerability in phenixdigital phoenix_storybook allows unauthenticated remote code execution via unsanitized attribute value interpolation in HEEx template generation. The psb-assign WebSocket event handler in 'Elixir.PhoenixStorybook.Story.PlaygroundPreviewLive':handle_event/3 accepts arbitrary attribute names and values from unauthenticated clients. These values are passed to 'Elixir.PhoenixStorybook.Helpers.ExtraAssignsHelpers':handle_set_variation_assign/3, which stores them verbatim. When rendering, 'Elixir.PhoenixStorybook.Rendering.ComponentRenderer':attributes_markup/1 interpolates binary attribute values directly into a HEEx template string as name="<val>" without escaping double quotes or HEEx expression delimiters. An attacker can supply a value containing a closing quote followed by a HEEx expression block (e.g. foo" injected={EXPR} bar="), which causes EXPR to be treated as an inline Elixir expression. The resulting template is compiled via EEx.compile_string/2 and executed via Code.eval_quoted_with_env/3 with full Kernel imports and no sandbox, giving the attacker arbitrary code execution on the server. This issue affects phoenix_storybook from 0.5.0 before 1.1.0.
