CVSS v3.1 |
After JavaScript resetting the form, the synchronization process lacks re-entry protection and object lifecycle verification, resulting in the failure of the control pointer during the traversal process. After the pointer fails, it still continues to dereference, causing the application to crash.
When the application opens a PDF and JavaScript modifies the properties of form fields, it causes the state of the underlying objects referenced by the program to become invalid. Eventually, it reads an illegal memory address, which leads to the crash of the application.
Insufficient policy enforcement in Sandbox in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Integer overflow in Mojo in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.201 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in Bluetooth in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a malicious peripheral. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in Web Authentication in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: High)
Race in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Out of bounds read and write in Blink>InterestGroups in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
Use after free in Digital Credentials in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Apple M1 GPUs retain register file data between compute shader dispatches from different processes. A sandboxed Metal attacker app can run a GPU reader shader that reads stale register values left by a separate sandboxed victim app. In the proof of concept, GPUVictim.app generates a fresh random 128-bit secret using SecRandomCopyBytes and loads it into GPU registers. GPUAttacker.app, a separate sandboxed app, recovers the exact secret from stale GPU register state. NOTE: The vendor stated that this behavior affects only legacy hardware and has already been addressed at the hardware level in current-generation Apple Silicon.
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Prior to 2.7.14, Deno's permission system enforces filesystem and execution restrictions by comparing the requested path against the path supplied to --deny-read, --deny-write, --deny-run, or --deny-ffi. On macOS, that comparison was done at the raw-byte level while the APFS filesystem treats different Unicode spellings of the same name as the same file. That means a program could reach a denied path by spelling it differently than the deny rule. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.14.
Acrobat Reader versions 2020.009.20074, 2020.001.30002, 2017.011.30171, 2015.006.30523 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Acrobat Reader versions 24.001.30365, 26.001.21651 and earlier are affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker with high privileges could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed.
Dreamweaver Desktop versions 21.7 and earlier are affected by an Improper Access Control vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed.
Untrusted Search Path in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1833.
Out-of-bounds Write in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1847.
Adobe Flash Player before 10.3.181.14 on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris and before 10.3.185.21 on Android allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via crafted Flash content, as possibly exploited in the wild in May 2011 by a Microsoft Office document with an embedded .swf file.
