CVSS v3.1 |
Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. Prior to version 2.21.0, the 5xx request logging path in jupyter_server/log.py copies the Referer header into a JSON header block without applying the token scrubbing used for the request URI. A request that returns HTTP 500 while the Referer contains a token-bearing URL can therefore write that token to server logs in plaintext. An attacker who can read those logs can recover the token and use the affected user's Jupyter Server permissions. This issue is fixed in version 2.21.0.
A flaw was found in Netty's MqttDecoder. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted MQTT CONNECT packet. The decoder fails to properly validate the 'Properties Length' against the 'Remaining Length', allowing an attacker to bypass size limits. This leads to excessive memory and CPU consumption, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) due to an OutOfMemoryError.
A flaw was found in Netty RtspDecoder. The `RtspMethods.valueOf()` function incorrectly strips trailing control bytes from method tokens in Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) requests. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted RTSP request, leading to method-token smuggling. This vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass method-based access controls and can also be used to launder malicious requests through Netty-based RTSP proxies, making them appear legitimate to backend systems.
A flaw was found in Netty's `SmtpResponseDecoder` component. A remote attacker, acting as a malicious or man-in-the-middle (MITM) SMTP server, could exploit this by sending a specially crafted, unbounded multi-line SMTP response without a terminator. This vulnerability leads to unbounded memory accumulation within the client's Java Virtual Machine (JVM) heap, causing an `OutOfMemoryError` and a denial of service (DoS) due to a process crash.
A flaw was found in the Netty STOMP codec. A remote attacker could send a specially crafted STOMP frame with a content-length header exceeding the maximum integer value. This integer truncation vulnerability could lead to an infinite decode loop, causing a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting memory and CPU resources.
A flaw was found in Netty's HttpServerCodec. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by pipelining HTTP/1.1 requests on a single connection and withholding reads. This action causes the methodOverflowQueue to grow without limit, leading to unbounded heap memory consumption and a denial of service due to memory exhaustion.
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improper neutralization of input during web page generation.
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability.
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 is vulnerable to OS command injection in the Universal Connector plugin upload functionality. A privileged authenticated attacker can provide a malicious filename that is incorporated into a shell command executed by the application, potentially resulting in arbitrary command execution with root-level privileges.
Acode is a powerful text and code editor for Android. From 1.11.6 until 1.12.7, com.foxdebug.acode.rk.exec.terminal.TerminalService is declared as an exported service in src/plugins/terminal/plugin.xml without a binding permission, and src/plugins/terminal/src/android/TerminalService.java does not verify the caller. Any installed Android application can bind the service and send MSG_EXEC with an attacker-controlled cmd value, which the terminal implementation passes to ProcessBuilder with sh -c inside Acode's UID. This allows a zero-permission local application to execute commands with access to Acode private data, remote credentials, Storage Access Framework grants, and runtime permissions without additional interaction at attack time. This issue is fixed in version 1.12.7.
pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, when pg_jobmon is installed and part_config.jobmon is true, exception handlers in multiple pg_partman functions place p_parent_table verbatim inside a SQL string literal used to call pg_jobmon.add_job(). A partman_user can create a parent-table name containing a single quote that terminates the literal and injects SQL when an affected exception path runs. If pg_partman_bgw reaches that path, the injected SQL executes with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, permitting database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. The persistent part_config row can trigger the escalation again on later maintenance ticks. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability in TP-Link Archer BE230 v1.2 and BE3600 v1 (vpn modules) allows adjacent
authenticated
attacker
execute arbitrary code. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain full administrative control of the device, resulting in severe compromise of configuration integrity, network security, and service availability.
This CVE covers one of multiple distinct OS command injection issues identified across separate code paths. Although similar in nature, each instance is tracked under a unique CVE ID.
This issue affects Archer BE230 v1.2 < 1.2.4 Build 20251218 rel.70420. |
