CVE-2024-2961 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 9 Glibc, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.3 High |
The iconv() function in the GNU C Library versions 2.39 and older may overflow the output buffer passed to it by up to 4 bytes when converting strings to the ISO-2022-CN-EXT character set, which may be used to crash an application or overwrite a neighbouring variable.
CVE-2024-2616 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 2.7 Low |
To harden ICU against exploitation, the behavior for out-of-memory conditions was changed to crash instead of attempt to continue. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 115.9 and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2614 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 123, Firefox ESR 115.8, and Thunderbird 115.8. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2612 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
If an attacker could find a way to trigger a particular code path in `SafeRefPtr`, it could have triggered a crash or potentially be leveraged to achieve code execution. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2611 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
A missing delay on when pointer lock was used could have allowed a malicious page to trick a user into granting permissions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2610 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
Using a markup injection an attacker could have stolen nonce values. This could have been used to bypass strict content security policies. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2609 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
The permission prompt input delay could expire while the window is not in focus. This makes it vulnerable to clickjacking by malicious websites. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.10, and Thunderbird < 115.10.
CVE-2024-2608 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
`AppendEncodedAttributeValue(), ExtraSpaceNeededForAttrEncoding()` and `AppendEncodedCharacters()` could have experienced integer overflows, causing underallocation of an output buffer leading to an out of bounds write. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2607 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
Return registers were overwritten which could have allowed an attacker to execute arbitrary code. *Note:* This issue only affected Armv7-A systems. Other operating systems are unaffected. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9.
CVE-2024-2511 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 3.7 Low |
Issue summary: Some non-default TLS server configurations can cause unbounded memory growth when processing TLSv1.3 sessions Impact summary: An attacker may exploit certain server configurations to trigger unbounded memory growth that would lead to a Denial of Service This problem can occur in TLSv1.3 if the non-default SSL_OP_NO_TICKET option is being used (but not if early_data support is also configured and the default anti-replay protection is in use). In this case, under certain conditions, the session cache can get into an incorrect state and it will fail to flush properly as it fills. The session cache will continue to grow in an unbounded manner. A malicious client could deliberately create the scenario for this failure to force a Denial of Service. It may also happen by accident in normal operation. This issue only affects TLS servers supporting TLSv1.3. It does not affect TLS clients. The FIPS modules in 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is also not affected by this issue.
CVE-2024-2496 | 1 Redhat | 2 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 5 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the udevConnectListAllInterfaces() function in libvirt. This issue can occur when detaching a host interface while at the same time collecting the list of interfaces via virConnectListAllInterfaces API. This flaw could be used to perform a denial of service attack by causing the libvirt daemon to crash.
CVE-2024-2494 | 1 Redhat | 2 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 6.2 Medium |
A flaw was found in the RPC library APIs of libvirt. The RPC server deserialization code allocates memory for arrays before the non-negative length check is performed by the C API entry points. Passing a negative length to the g_new0 function results in a crash due to the negative length being treated as a huge positive number. This flaw allows a local, unprivileged user to perform a denial of service attack by causing the libvirt daemon to crash.
CVE-2024-2398 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.6 High |
When an application tells libcurl it wants to allow HTTP/2 server push, and the amount of received headers for the push surpasses the maximum allowed limit (1000), libcurl aborts the server push. When aborting, libcurl inadvertently does not free all the previously allocated headers and instead leaks the memory. Further, this error condition fails silently and is therefore not easily detected by an application.
CVE-2024-2357 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
The Libreswan Project was notified of an issue causing libreswan to restart under some IKEv2 retransmit scenarios when a connection is configured to use PreSharedKeys (authby=secret) and the connection cannot find a matching configured secret. When such a connection is automatically added on startup using the auto= keyword, it can cause repeated crashes leading to a Denial of Service.
CVE-2024-2314 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 2.8 Low |
If kernel headers need to be extracted, bcc will attempt to load them from a temporary directory. An unprivileged attacker could use this to force bcc to load compromised linux headers. Linux distributions which provide kernel headers by default are not affected by default. |
