CVE-2019-7164 | 5 Debian, Opensuse, Oracle and 2 more | 9 Debian Linux, Backports Sle, Leap and 6 more | 2024-08-04 | 9.8 Critical |
SQLAlchemy through 1.2.17 and 1.3.x through 1.3.0b2 allows SQL Injection via the order_by parameter.
CVE-2019-7150 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Elfutils Project and 2 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Elfutils and 9 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in elfutils 0.175. A segmentation fault can occur in the function elf64_xlatetom in libelf/elf32_xlatetom.c, due to dwfl_segment_report_module not checking whether the dyn data read from a core file is truncated. A crafted input can cause a program crash, leading to denial-of-service, as demonstrated by eu-stack.
CVE-2019-6974 | 5 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 2 more | 29 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 26 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.1 High |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.8, kvm_ioctl_create_device in virt/kvm/kvm_main.c mishandles reference counting because of a race condition, leading to a use-after-free.
CVE-2019-6454 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 26 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in sd-bus in systemd 239. bus_process_object() in libsystemd/sd-bus/bus-objects.c allocates a variable-length stack buffer for temporarily storing the object path of incoming D-Bus messages. An unprivileged local user can exploit this by sending a specially crafted message to PID1, causing the stack pointer to jump over the stack guard pages into an unmapped memory region and trigger a denial of service (systemd PID1 crash and kernel panic).
CVE-2019-6109 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.8 Medium |
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
CVE-2019-6133 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Polkit Project and 1 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Polkit and 9 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
In PolicyKit (aka polkit) 0.115, the "start time" protection mechanism can be bypassed because fork() is not atomic, and therefore authorization decisions are improperly cached. This is related to lack of uid checking in polkitbackend/polkitbackendinteractiveauthority.c.
CVE-2019-6111 | 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more | 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.9 Medium |
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2019-6116 | 6 Artifex, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 12 Ghostscript, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 9 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.8 High |
In Artifex Ghostscript through 9.26, ephemeral or transient procedures can allow access to system operators, leading to remote code execution.
CVE-2019-5544 | 4 Fedoraproject, Openslp, Redhat and 1 more | 17 Fedora, Openslp, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2024-08-04 | 9.8 Critical |
OpenSLP as used in ESXi and the Horizon DaaS appliances has a heap overwrite issue. VMware has evaluated the severity of this issue to be in the Critical severity range with a maximum CVSSv3 base score of 9.8.
CVE-2019-5010 | 4 Debian, Opensuse, Python and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Leap, Python and 6 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the X509 certificate parser of Python.org Python 2.7.11 / 3.6.6. A specially crafted X509 certificate can cause a NULL pointer dereference, resulting in a denial of service. An attacker can initiate or accept TLS connections using crafted certificates to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2019-3887 | 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 8 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.6 Medium |
A flaw was found in the way KVM hypervisor handled x2APIC Machine Specific Rregister (MSR) access with nested(=1) virtualization enabled. In that, L1 guest could access L0's APIC register values via L2 guest, when 'virtualize x2APIC mode' is enabled. A guest could use this flaw to potentially crash the host kernel resulting in DoS issue. Kernel versions from 4.16 and newer are vulnerable to this issue.
CVE-2019-3855 | 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 18 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.8 High |
An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. |
