CVSS v3.1 |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the browser engine in Mozilla Firefox before 32.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.8 and 31.x before 31.1, and Thunderbird 24.x before 24.8 and 31.x before 31.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors. |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in the nsDocLoader::OnProgress function in Mozilla Firefox before 31.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.7, and Thunderbird before 24.7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors that trigger a FireOnStateChange event. |
| The System Only Wrapper (SOW) implementation in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, and SeaMonkey before 2.24 does not prevent certain cloning operations, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended restrictions on XUL content via vectors involving XBL content scopes. |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in the nsTextEditRules::CreateMozBR function in Mozilla Firefox before 30.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.6, and Thunderbird before 24.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption) via unspecified vectors. |
| Given a compromised sandboxed content process due to a separate vulnerability, it is possible to escape that sandbox by loading accounts.firefox.com in that process and forcing a log-in to a malicious Firefox Sync account. Preference settings that disable the sandbox are then synchronized to the local machine and the compromised browser would restart without the sandbox if a crash is triggered. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.9, Firefox ESR < 68.1, and Firefox < 69. |
| Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the browser engine in Mozilla Firefox before 30.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.6, and Thunderbird before 24.6 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability can occur when flushing and resizing layout because the "PressShell" object has been freed while still in use. This results in a potentially exploitable crash during these operations. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 57, Firefox ESR < 52.5, and Thunderbird < 52.5. |
| The docshell implementation in Mozilla Firefox before 29.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.5, Thunderbird before 24.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.26 allows remote attackers to trigger the loading of a URL with a spoofed baseURI property, and conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, via a crafted web site that performs history navigation. |
| The Web workers implementation in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, and SeaMonkey before 2.24 allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy and obtain sensitive authentication information via vectors involving error messages. |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in the imgRequestProxy function in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, and SeaMonkey before 2.24 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors involving unspecified Content-Type values for image data. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in the read_u32 function in Mozilla Firefox before 29.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.5, Thunderbird before 24.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.26 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash) via a crafted JPEG image. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_mirred: don't override retval if we already lost the skb
If we're redirecting the skb, and haven't called tcf_mirred_forward(),
yet, we need to tell the core to drop the skb by setting the retcode
to SHOT. If we have called tcf_mirred_forward(), however, the skb
is out of our hands and returning SHOT will lead to UaF.
Move the retval override to the error path which actually need it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/khugepaged: fix ->anon_vma race
If an ->anon_vma is attached to the VMA, collapse_and_free_pmd() requires
it to be locked.
Page table traversal is allowed under any one of the mmap lock, the
anon_vma lock (if the VMA is associated with an anon_vma), and the
mapping lock (if the VMA is associated with a mapping); and so to be
able to remove page tables, we must hold all three of them.
retract_page_tables() bails out if an ->anon_vma is attached, but does
this check before holding the mmap lock (as the comment above the check
explains).
If we racily merged an existing ->anon_vma (shared with a child
process) from a neighboring VMA, subsequent rmap traversals on pages
belonging to the child will be able to see the page tables that we are
concurrently removing while assuming that nothing else can access them.
Repeat the ->anon_vma check once we hold the mmap lock to ensure that
there really is no concurrent page table access.
Hitting this bug causes a lockdep warning in collapse_and_free_pmd(),
in the line "lockdep_assert_held_write(&vma->anon_vma->root->rwsem)".
It can also lead to use-after-free access. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/srso: Add SRSO mitigation for Hygon processors
Add mitigation for the speculative return stack overflow vulnerability
which exists on Hygon processors too. |
| The verify function in lib/elliptic/eddsa/index.js in the Elliptic package before 6.5.6 for Node.js omits "sig.S().gte(sig.eddsa.curve.n) || sig.S().isNeg()" validation. |
| In libxml2 2.11 before 2.11.9, 2.12 before 2.12.9, and 2.13 before 2.13.3, the SAX parser can produce events for external entities even if custom SAX handlers try to override entity content (by setting "checked"). This makes classic XXE attacks possible. |
| An issue in Gevent before version 23.9.0 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via a crafted script to the WSGIServer component. |
| Ribose RNP before 0.16.3 may hang when the input is malformed. |
| tpm2-tss is an open source software implementation of the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2 Software Stack (TSS2). In versions prior to 4.1.0-rc0, 4.0.1, and 3.2.2-rc1, `Tss2_RC_SetHandler` and `Tss2_RC_Decode` both index into `layer_handler` with an 8 bit layer number, but the array only has `TPM2_ERROR_TSS2_RC_LAYER_COUNT` entries, so trying to add a handler for higher-numbered layers or decode a response code with such a layer number reads/writes past the end of the buffer. This Buffer overrun, could result in arbitrary code execution. An example attack would be a MiTM bus attack that returns 0xFFFFFFFF for the RC. Given the common use case of TPM modules an attacker must have local access to the target machine with local system privileges which allows access to the TPM system. Usually TPM access requires administrative privilege. Versions 4.1.0-rc0, 4.0.1, and 3.2.2-rc1 fix the issue. |
| A flaw was found in Ansible. Three API endpoints are accessible and return verbose, unauthenticated responses. This flaw allows a malicious user to access data that may contain important information. |
