CVE-2021-3659 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 17 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networking subsystem in the way the user closes the LR-WPAN connection. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2021-3656 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 31 Fedora, Linux Kernel, 3scale Api Management and 28 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A flaw was found in the KVM's AMD code for supporting SVM nested virtualization. The flaw occurs when processing the VMCB (virtual machine control block) provided by the L1 guest to spawn/handle a nested guest (L2). Due to improper validation of the "virt_ext" field, this issue could allow a malicious L1 to disable both VMLOAD/VMSAVE intercepts and VLS (Virtual VMLOAD/VMSAVE) for the L2 guest. As a result, the L2 guest would be allowed to read/write physical pages of the host, resulting in a crash of the entire system, leak of sensitive data or potential guest-to-host escape.
CVE-2021-3621 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 10 Fedora, Sssd, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A flaw was found in SSSD, where the sssctl command was vulnerable to shell command injection via the logs-fetch and cache-expire subcommands. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the root user into running a specially crafted sssctl command, such as via sudo, to gain root access. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2021-3609 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 46 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 43 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.0 High |
.A flaw was found in the CAN BCM networking protocol in the Linux kernel, where a local attacker can abuse a flaw in the CAN subsystem to corrupt memory, crash the system or escalate privileges. This race condition in net/can/bcm.c in the Linux kernel allows for local privilege escalation to root.
CVE-2021-3570 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linuxptp Project and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linuxptp and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A flaw was found in the ptp4l program of the linuxptp package. A missing length check when forwarding a PTP message between ports allows a remote attacker to cause an information leak, crash, or potentially remote code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability. This flaw affects linuxptp versions before 3.1.1, before 2.0.1, before 1.9.3, before 1.8.1, before 1.7.1, before 1.6.1 and before 1.5.1.
CVE-2021-3551 | 4 Dogtagpki, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 12 Dogtagpki, Fedora, Linux and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the PKI-server, where the spkispawn command, when run in debug mode, stores admin credentials in the installation log file. This flaw allows a local attacker to retrieve the file to obtain the admin password and gain admin privileges to the Dogtag CA manager. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality.
CVE-2021-31566 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 2 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
An improper link resolution flaw can occur while extracting an archive leading to changing modes, times, access control lists, and flags of a file outside of the archive. An attacker may provide a malicious archive to a victim user, who would trigger this flaw when trying to extract the archive. A local attacker may use this flaw to gain more privileges in a system.
CVE-2021-23177 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 1 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
An improper link resolution flaw while extracting an archive can lead to changing the access control list (ACL) of the target of the link. An attacker may provide a malicious archive to a victim user, who would trigger this flaw when trying to extract the archive. A local attacker may use this flaw to change the ACL of a file on the system and gain more privileges.
CVE-2021-20316 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Samba | 8 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |
A flaw was found in the way Samba handled file/directory metadata. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker with permissions to read or modify share metadata, to perform this operation outside of the share.
CVE-2020-9490 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 28 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 25 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43. A specially crafted value for the 'Cache-Digest' header in a HTTP/2 request would result in a crash when the server actually tries to HTTP/2 PUSH a resource afterwards. Configuring the HTTP/2 feature via "H2Push off" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers.
CVE-2020-6851 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 2 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Georaster and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
OpenJPEG through 2.3.1 has a heap-based buffer overflow in opj_t1_clbl_decode_processor in openjp2/t1.c because of lack of opj_j2k_update_image_dimensions validation.
