CVE-2022-50381 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: fix a crash in mempool_free There's a crash in mempool_free when running the lvm test shell/lvchange-rebuild-raid.sh. The reason for the crash is this: * super_written calls atomic_dec_and_test(&mddev->pending_writes) and wake_up(&mddev->sb_wait). Then it calls rdev_dec_pending(rdev, mddev) and bio_put(bio). * so, the process that waited on sb_wait and that is woken up is racing with bio_put(bio). * if the process wins the race, it calls bioset_exit before bio_put(bio) is executed. * bio_put(bio) attempts to free a bio into a destroyed bio set - causing a crash in mempool_free. We fix this bug by moving bio_put before atomic_dec_and_test. We also move rdev_dec_pending before atomic_dec_and_test as suggested by Neil Brown. The function md_end_flush has a similar bug - we must call bio_put before we decrement the number of in-progress bios. CVE-2023-53371 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: fix memory leak in mlx5e_fs_tt_redirect_any_create The memory pointed to by the fs->any pointer is not freed in the error path of mlx5e_fs_tt_redirect_any_create, which can lead to a memory leak. Fix by freeing the memory in the error path, thereby making the error path identical to mlx5e_fs_tt_redirect_any_destroy().
CVE-2023-53396 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ubifs: Fix memory leak in do_rename If renaming a file in an encrypted directory, function fscrypt_setup_filename allocates memory for a file name. This name is never used, and before returning to the caller the memory for it is not freed. When running kmemleak on it we see that it is registered as a leak. The report below is triggered by a simple program 'rename' that renames a file in an encrypted directory: unreferenced object 0xffff888101502840 (size 32): comm "rename", pid 9404, jiffies 4302582475 (age 435.735s) backtrace: __kmem_cache_alloc_node __kmalloc fscrypt_setup_filename do_rename ubifs_rename vfs_rename do_renameat2 To fix this we can remove the call to fscrypt_setup_filename as it's not needed.
CVE-2023-53402 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kernel/printk/index.c: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once.
CVE-2023-53389 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: dp: Only trigger DRM HPD events if bridge is attached The MediaTek DisplayPort interface bridge driver starts its interrupts as soon as its probed. However when the interrupts trigger the bridge might not have been attached to a DRM device. As drm_helper_hpd_irq_event() does not check whether the passed in drm_device is valid or not, a NULL pointer passed in results in a kernel NULL pointer dereference in it. Check whether the bridge is attached and only trigger an HPD event if it is.

CVE-2023-53372 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix a potential overflow in sctp_ifwdtsn_skip Currently, when traversing ifwdtsn skips with _sctp_walk_ifwdtsn, it only checks the pos against the end of the chunk. However, the data left for the last pos may be < sizeof(struct sctp_ifwdtsn_skip), and dereference it as struct sctp_ifwdtsn_skip may cause coverflow. This patch fixes it by checking the pos against "the end of the chunk - sizeof(struct sctp_ifwdtsn_skip)" in sctp_ifwdtsn_skip, similar to sctp_fwdtsn_skip.
CVE-2023-53398 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 7.0 High

Such case was possible during re-sync action. WARN_ON_ONCE covers future cases. There were out-of-order cqe spotted which lead to drain of the queue and use-after-free because of lack of fifo pointers check. Special check and counter are added to avoid resync operation if SKB could not exist in the fifo because of OOO cqe (skb_id must be between consumer and producer index).

CVE-2023-53386 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: Fix potential use-after-free when clear keys Similar to commit c5d2b6fa26b5 ("Bluetooth: Fix use-after-free in hci_remove_ltk/hci_remove_irk"). We can not access k after kfree_rcu() call.
CVE-2023-53392 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-19 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: intel-ish-hid: Fix kernel panic during warm reset During warm reset device->fw_client is set to NULL. If a bus driver is registered after this NULL setting and before new firmware clients are enumerated by ISHTP, kernel panic will result in the function ishtp_cl_bus_match(). This is because of reference to device->fw_client->props.protocol_name. ISH firmware after getting successfully loaded, sends a warm reset notification to remove all clients from the bus and sets device->fw_client to NULL. Until kernel v5.15, all enabled ISHTP kernel module drivers were loaded right after any of the first ISHTP device was registered, regardless of whether it was a matched or an unmatched device. This resulted in all drivers getting registered much before the warm reset notification from ISH. Starting kernel v5.16, this issue got exposed after the change was introduced to load only bus drivers for the respective matching devices. In this scenario, cros_ec_ishtp device and cros_ec_ishtp driver are registered after the warm reset device fw_client NULL setting. cros_ec_ishtp driver_register() triggers the callback to ishtp_cl_bus_match() to match ISHTP driver to the device and causes kernel panic in guid_equal() when dereferencing fw_client NULL pointer to get protocol_name.
CVE-2025-10666 1 D-link 1 Dir-825 2025-09-19 8.8 High
A security flaw has been discovered in D-Link DIR-825 up to 2.10. Affected by this vulnerability is the function sub_4106d4 of the file apply.cgi. The manipulation of the argument countdown_time results in buffer overflow. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be exploited. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
