CVE-2020-12465 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 10 Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager, Aff Baseboard Management Controller and 7 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.7 Medium |
An array overflow was discovered in mt76_add_fragment in drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/dma.c in the Linux kernel before 5.5.10, aka CID-b102f0c522cf. An oversized packet with too many rx fragments can corrupt memory of adjacent pages.
CVE-2021-46143 | 5 Libexpat Project, Netapp, Redhat and 2 more | 10 Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 7 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.1 High |
In doProlog in xmlparse.c in Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.3, an integer overflow exists for m_groupSize.
CVE-2021-45960 | 6 Debian, Libexpat Project, Netapp and 3 more | 10 Debian Linux, Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.8 High |
In Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.3, a left shift by 29 (or more) places in the storeAtts function in xmlparse.c can lead to realloc misbehavior (e.g., allocating too few bytes, or only freeing memory).
CVE-2021-45485 | 4 Linux, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 46 Linux Kernel, Aff A400, Aff A400 Firmware and 43 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
In the IPv6 implementation in the Linux kernel before 5.13.3, net/ipv6/output_core.c has an information leak because of certain use of a hash table which, although big, doesn't properly consider that IPv6-based attackers can typically choose among many IPv6 source addresses.
CVE-2021-33200 | 4 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 20 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 17 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
kernel/bpf/verifier.c in the Linux kernel through 5.12.7 enforces incorrect limits for pointer arithmetic operations, aka CID-bb01a1bba579. This can be abused to perform out-of-bounds reads and writes in kernel memory, leading to local privilege escalation to root. In particular, there is a corner case where the off reg causes a masking direction change, which then results in an incorrect final aux->alu_limit.
CVE-2021-26987 | 2 Netapp, Vmware | 4 Element Plug-in For Vcenter Server, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Solidfire \& Hci Management Node and 1 more | 2024-08-03 | 9.8 Critical |
Element Plug-in for vCenter Server incorporates SpringBoot Framework. SpringBoot Framework versions prior to 1.3.2 are susceptible to a vulnerability which when successfully exploited could lead to Remote Code Execution. All versions of Element Plug-in for vCenter Server, Management Services versions prior to 2.17.56 and Management Node versions through 12.2 contain vulnerable versions of SpringBoot Framework.
CVE-2021-26932 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 6 more | 2024-08-03 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 3.2 through 5.10.16, as used by Xen. Grant mapping operations often occur in batch hypercalls, where a number of operations are done in a single hypercall, the success or failure of each one is reported to the backend driver, and the backend driver then loops over the results, performing follow-up actions based on the success or failure of each operation. Unfortunately, when running in PV mode, the Linux backend drivers mishandle this: Some errors are ignored, effectively implying their success from the success of related batch elements. In other cases, errors resulting from one batch element lead to further batch elements not being inspected, and hence successful ones to not be possible to properly unmap upon error recovery. Only systems with Linux backends running in PV mode are vulnerable. Linux backends run in HVM / PVH modes are not vulnerable. This affects arch/*/xen/p2m.c and drivers/xen/gntdev.c.
CVE-2021-26708 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 13 Linux Kernel, 500f, A250 and 10 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.0 High |
A local privilege escalation was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.10.13. Multiple race conditions in the AF_VSOCK implementation are caused by wrong locking in net/vmw_vsock/af_vsock.c. The race conditions were implicitly introduced in the commits that added VSOCK multi-transport support.
CVE-2021-22924 | 8 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 5 more | 55 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 52 more | 2024-08-03 | 3.7 Low |
libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequenttransfers to reuse, if one of them matches the setup.Due to errors in the logic, the config matching function did not take 'issuercert' into account and it compared the involved paths *case insensitively*,which could lead to libcurl reusing wrong connections.File paths are, or can be, case sensitive on many systems but not all, and caneven vary depending on used file systems. The comparison also didn't include the 'issuer cert' which a transfer can setto qualify how to verify the server certificate.
CVE-2021-22901 | 6 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 3 more | 35 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 32 more | 2024-08-03 | 8.1 High |
curl 7.75.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from a use-after-free vulnerability resulting in already freed memory being used when a TLS 1.3 session ticket arrives over a connection. A malicious server can use this in rare unfortunate circumstances to potentially reach remote code execution in the client. When libcurl at run-time sets up support for TLS 1.3 session tickets on a connection using OpenSSL, it stores pointers to the transfer in-memory object for later retrieval when a session ticket arrives. If the connection is used by multiple transfers (like with a reused HTTP/1.1 connection or multiplexed HTTP/2 connection) that first transfer object might be freed before the new session is established on that connection and then the function will access a memory buffer that might be freed. When using that memory, libcurl might even call a function pointer in the object, making it possible for a remote code execution if the server could somehow manage to get crafted memory content into the correct place in memory.
CVE-2021-22897 | 5 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 30 Curl, Cloud Backup, H300e and 27 more | 2024-08-03 | 5.3 Medium |
curl 7.61.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from exposure of data element to wrong session due to a mistake in the code for CURLOPT_SSL_CIPHER_LIST when libcurl is built to use the Schannel TLS library. The selected cipher set was stored in a single "static" variable in the library, which has the surprising side-effect that if an application sets up multiple concurrent transfers, the last one that sets the ciphers will accidentally control the set used by all transfers. In a worst-case scenario, this weakens transport security significantly.
CVE-2021-20322 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 3 more | 34 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 31 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.4 High |
A flaw in the processing of received ICMP errors (ICMP fragment needed and ICMP redirect) in the Linux kernel functionality was found to allow the ability to quickly scan open UDP ports. This flaw allows an off-path remote user to effectively bypass the source port UDP randomization. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and possibly integrity, because software that relies on UDP source port randomization are indirectly affected as well.
CVE-2021-20197 | 4 Broadcom, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Binutils, Cloud Backup and 3 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.3 Medium |
There is an open race window when writing output in the following utilities in GNU binutils version 2.35 and earlier:ar, objcopy, strip, ranlib. When these utilities are run as a privileged user (presumably as part of a script updating binaries across different users), an unprivileged user can trick these utilities into getting ownership of arbitrary files through a symlink.
CVE-2021-4209 | 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat | 6 Gnutls, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci Bootstrap Os and 3 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in GnuTLS. As Nettle's hash update functions internally call memcpy, providing zero-length input may cause undefined behavior. This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.
CVE-2021-3772 | 5 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 26 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, E-series Santricity Os Controller and 23 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux SCTP stack. A blind attacker may be able to kill an existing SCTP association through invalid chunks if the attacker knows the IP-addresses and port numbers being used and the attacker can send packets with spoofed IP addresses.
CVE-2022-43680 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libexpat Project and 2 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libexpat and 21 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
In libexpat through 2.4.9, there is a use-after free caused by overeager destruction of a shared DTD in XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate in out-of-memory situations.
CVE-2022-36946 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 10 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
nfqnl_mangle in net/netfilter/nfnetlink_queue.c in the Linux kernel through 5.18.14 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) because, in the case of an nf_queue verdict with a one-byte nfta_payload attribute, an skb_pull can encounter a negative skb->len.
CVE-2022-30594 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 24 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, 8300 and 21 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
The Linux kernel before 5.17.2 mishandles seccomp permissions. The PTRACE_SEIZE code path allows attackers to bypass intended restrictions on setting the PT_SUSPEND_SECCOMP flag.
CVE-2022-30115 | 3 Haxx, Netapp, Splunk | 15 Curl, Clustered Data Ontap, H300s and 12 more | 2024-08-03 | 4.3 Medium |
Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS directly insteadof using an insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in theURL. This mechanism could be bypassed if the host name in the given URL used atrailing dot while not using one when it built the HSTS cache. Or the otherway around - by having the trailing dot in the HSTS cache and *not* using thetrailing dot in the URL.
CVE-2022-29968 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp | 13 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300s and 10 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.17.5. io_rw_init_file in fs/io_uring.c lacks initialization of kiocb->private. |
