CVSS v3.1 |
| Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities are present in ASPECT if session administra-tor credentials become compromised.
This issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.08.03; NEXUS Series: through 3.08.03; MATRIX Series: through 3.08.03. |
| OpenPLC v3 contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers with valid credentials to inject malicious code through the hardware configuration interface. Attackers can upload a custom hardware layer with embedded reverse shell code that establishes a network connection to a specified IP and port, enabling remote command execution. |
| A denial-of-service and possible remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Rockwell Automation Power Monitor 1000. The vulnerability results in corruption of the heap memory which may compromise the integrity of the system, potentially allowing for remote code execution or a denial-of-service attack. |
| The Kognetiks Chatbot for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the chatbot_chatgpt_upload_file_to_assistant function in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.9. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, with to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| A remote command injection vulnerability exists in Vacron Network Video Recorder (NVR) devices v1.4 due to improper input sanitization in the board.cgi script. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to pass arbitrary commands to the underlying operating system via crafted HTTP requests. These commands are executed with the privileges of the web server process, enabling remote code execution and potential full device compromise. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-06 UTC. |
| Server communication with a controller can lead to remote code execution using a specially crafted message from the controller. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| A client-side remote code execution vulnerability exists in Hanwha Techwin Smart Security Manager (SSM) versions 1.32 and 1.4, due to improper restrictions on the PUT method exposed by the bundled Apache ActiveMQ instance (running on port 8161). An attacker can exploit this flaw through a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) bypass combined with JavaScript-triggered file uploads to the web server, ultimately resulting in arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges.
This vulnerability bypasses the server-side mitigations introduced in ZDI-15-156 and ZDI-16-481 by shifting the exploitation to the client-side.
This product is now referred to as Hanwha Wisenet SSM and it is unknown if current versions are affected. |
| Reposilite is an open source, lightweight and easy-to-use repository manager for Maven based artifacts in JVM ecosystem. As a Maven repository manager, Reposilite provides the ability to view the artifacts content in the browser, as well as perform administrative tasks via API. The problem lies in the fact that the artifact's content is served via the same origin (protocol/host/port) as the Admin UI. If the artifact contains HTML content with javascript inside, the javascript is executed within the same origin. Therefore, if an authenticated user is viewing the artifacts content, the javascript inside can access the browser's local storage where the user's password (aka 'token-secret') is stored. It is especially dangerous in scenarios where Reposilite is configured to mirror third party repositories, like the Maven Central Repository. Since anyone can publish an artifact to Maven Central under its own name, such malicious packages can be used to attack the Reposilite instance. This issue may lead to the full Reposilite instance compromise. If this attack is performed against the admin user, it's possible to use the admin API to modify settings and artifacts on the instance. In the worst case scenario, an attacker would be able to obtain the Remote code execution on all systems that use artifacts from Reposilite. It's important to note that the attacker does not need to lure a victim user to use a malicious artifact, but just open a link in the browser. This link can be silently loaded among the other HTML content, making this attack unnoticeable. Even if the Reposilite instance is located in an isolated environment, such as behind a VPN or in the local network, this attack is still possible as it can be performed from the admin browser. Reposilite has addressed this issue in version 3.5.12. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. This issue was discovered and reported by the GitHub Security lab and is also tracked as GHSL-2024-072. |
| An Authenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affects the TP-Link Archer router series. A vulnerability exists in the "tmp_get_sites" function of the HomeShield functionality provided by TP-Link. This vulnerability is still exploitable without the activation of the HomeShield functionality. |
| The WP3D Model Import Viewer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the handle_import_file() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| The Honeywell Experion PKS and OneWireless WDM contains a Memory Buffer vulnerability in the component Control Data Access (CDA). An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to an Overread Buffers, which could result in improper index validation against buffer borders leading to remote code execution.
Honeywell recommends updating to the most recent version of Honeywell Experion PKS:
520.2 TCU9 HF1 and 530.1 TCU3 HF1 and OneWireless: 322.5 and 331.1.
The affected Experion PKS products are C300 PCNT02, C300 PCNT05, FIM4, FIM8, UOC, CN100, HCA, C300PM, and C200E. The Experion PKS versions affected are from 520.1 through 520.2 TCU9 and from 530 through 530 TCU3.The OneWireless WDM affected versions are 322.1 through 322.4 and 330.1 through 330.3. |
| An authenticated multi-stage remote code execution vulnerability exists in Riverbed SteelCentral NetProfiler and NetExpress 10.8.7 virtual appliances. A SQL injection vulnerability in the '/api/common/1.0/login' endpoint can be exploited to create a new user account in the appliance database. This user can then trigger a command injection vulnerability in the '/index.php?page=licenses' endpoint to execute arbitrary commands. The attacker may escalate privileges to root by exploiting an insecure sudoers configuration that allows the 'mazu' user to execute arbitrary commands as root via SSH key extraction and command chaining. Successful exploitation allows full remote root access to the virtual appliance. |
| calculator-boilerplate v1.0 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the eval function at /routes/calculator.js. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted payload injected into the input field. |
| Team ENVY, a Security Research TEAM has found a flaw that allows for a remote code execution on the NVR. If an attacker does not enter any value for a specific URL parameter, NULL pointer references will occur and the NVR will reboot. The manufacturer has released patch firmware for the flaw, please refer to the manufacturer's report for details and workarounds. |
| Heimdall Data Database Proxy Cross-Site Scripting Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Heimdall Data Database Proxy. Minimal user interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the database event logs. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can lead to the injection of arbitrary script. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to interact with the application in the context of the target user. Was ZDI-CAN-24755. |
| Markdownify 1.2.0 contains a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to store malicious payloads within markdown files. Attackers can upload crafted markdown files with embedded scripts that execute when the file is opened, potentially enabling remote code execution. |
| Llama Stack prior to revision 7a8aa775e5a267cf8660d83140011a0b7f91e005 used pickle as a serialization format for socket communication, potentially allowing for remote code execution. Socket communication has been changed to use JSON instead. |
| The Goza - Nonprofit Charity WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the alone_import_pack_restore_data() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). |
| Zortam Mp3 Media Studio 27.60 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the library creation file selection process that allows remote code execution. Attackers can craft a malicious text file with shellcode to trigger a structured exception handler (SEH) overwrite and execute arbitrary commands on the target system. |
| There are many buffer overflow vulnerabilities present in several CGI binaries of the charging station. This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC model chargers beforeversion 24120701.
Likelihood: High – Given the prevalence of these buffer overflows, and the clear error message of the web server, an attacker is very likely to be able to find these vulnerabilities.
Impact: Low – Usually, overflowing one of these buffers just causes a segmentation fault of the CGI binary, which causes the web server to return a 502 Bad Gateway error. However the webserver itself is not affected, and no DoS can be achieved. Abusing these buffer overflows in a meaningful way requires highly technical knowledge, especially since ASLR also seems to be enabled on the charging station. However, a skilled attacker might be able to use one of these buffer overflows to obtain remote code execution.
CVSS clarification. The attack can be executed over any network connection the station is listening to and serves the web interface (AV:N), and there are no additional security measure sin place that need to be circumvented (AC:L), the attack does not rely on preconditions (AT:N). The attack does require authentication, but the level of authentication is irrelevant (PR:L), it does not require user interaction (UI:N). The attack has a small impact on the availability of the device (VC:N/VI:N/VA:L). There is no impact on subsequent systems. (SC:N/SI:N/SA:N). While this device is an EV charger handing significant amounts of power, we do not expect this vulnerability to have a safety impact. The attack can be automated (AU:Y). |
