CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Disable DMCUB timeout for DCN35
[Why]
DMCUB can intermittently take longer than expected to process commands.
Old ASIC policy was to continue while logging a diagnostic error - which
works fine for ASIC without IPS, but with IPS this could lead to a race
condition where we attempt to access DCN state while it's inaccessible,
leading to a system hang when the NIU port is not disabled or register
accesses that timeout and the display configuration in an undefined
state.
[How]
We need to investigate why these accesses take longer than expected, but
for now we should disable the timeout on DCN35 to avoid this race
condition. Since the waits happen only at lower interrupt levels the
risk of taking too long at higher IRQ and causing a system watchdog
timeout are minimal. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: don't set RO when shutting down f2fs
Shutdown does not check the error of thaw_super due to readonly, which
causes a deadlock like below.
f2fs_ioc_shutdown(F2FS_GOING_DOWN_FULLSYNC) issue_discard_thread
- bdev_freeze
- freeze_super
- f2fs_stop_checkpoint()
- f2fs_handle_critical_error - sb_start_write
- set RO - waiting
- bdev_thaw
- thaw_super_locked
- return -EINVAL, if sb_rdonly()
- f2fs_stop_discard_thread
-> wait for kthread_stop(discard_thread); |
| In onAttachFragment of ShareIntentActivity.java, there is a possible way for an app to read files in the messages app due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |

| moby v25.0.5 is affected by a Race Condition in builder/builder-next/adapters/snapshot/layer.go. The vulnerability could be used to trigger concurrent builds that call the EnsureLayer function resulting in resource leaks/exhaustion. |
| moby through v25.0.3 has a Race Condition vulnerability in the streamformatter package which can be used to trigger multiple concurrent write operations resulting in data corruption or application crashes. |
| In RGXMMUCacheInvalidate of rgxmem.c, there is a possible arbitrary code execution due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege in the kernel with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Using a javascript: URI with a setTimeout race condition, an attacker can execute unauthorized scripts on top origin sites in urlbar. This bypasses security measures, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or unauthorized actions within the user's loaded webpage. This vulnerability affects Focus for iOS < 122. |
| A race condition was addressed with improved state handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.7.9, macOS Monterey 12.6.8, macOS Ventura 13.5. An app may be able to gain root privileges. |
