CVSS v3.1 |
Null pointer dereference in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
When HTTP/2 Ingress is configured, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
When a per-request policy is configured on a BIG-IP APM portal access virtual server, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
devlink: rate: Unset parent pointer in devl_rate_nodes_destroy
The function devl_rate_nodes_destroy is documented to "Unset parent for
all rate objects". However, it was only calling the driver-specific
`rate_leaf_parent_set` or `rate_node_parent_set` ops and decrementing
the parent's refcount, without actually setting the
`devlink_rate->parent` pointer to NULL.
This leaves a dangling pointer in the `devlink_rate` struct, which cause
refcount error in netdevsim[1] and mlx5[2]. In addition, this is
inconsistent with the behavior of `devlink_nl_rate_parent_node_set`,
where the parent pointer is correctly cleared.
This patch fixes the issue by explicitly setting `devlink_rate->parent`
to NULL after notifying the driver, thus fulfilling the function's
documented behavior for all rate objects.

A flaw was found in the QEMU built-in VNC server while processing ClientCutText messages. The qemu_clipboard_request() function can be reached before vnc_server_cut_text_caps() was called and had the chance to initialize the clipboard peer, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This could allow a malicious authenticated VNC client to crash QEMU and trigger a denial of service.
A null pointer dereference vulnerability in the IP settings CGI program of the Zyxel VMG3625-T50B firmware versions through 5.50(ABPM.9.6)C0 and the Zyxel WX3100-T0 firmware versions through 5.50(ABVL.4.8)C0 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) condition by sending a crafted HTTP request.
A null pointer dereference vulnerability in the account settings CGI program of the Zyxel VMG3625-T50B firmware versions through 5.50(ABPM.9.6)C0 and the Zyxel WX3100-T0 firmware versions through 5.50(ABVL.4.8)C0 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) condition by sending a crafted HTTP request.

free5gc UDM provides Unified Data Management (UDM) for free5GC, an open-source project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. Versions up to and including 1.4.1 have a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability. Remote unauthenticated attackers can trigger a service panic (Denial of Service) by sending a crafted PUT request with an unexpected ueId, crashing the UDM service. All deployments of free5GC using the UDM component may be affected. free5gc/udm pull request 76 contains a fix for the issue. No direct workaround is available at the application level. Applying the official patch is recommended.
libtiff up to v4.7.1 was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the component libtiff/tif_open.c.
The bone voice ID TA has a vulnerability in calculating the buffer length,Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect data confidentiality.
A vulnerability has been found in Kamailio 5.5. This affects the function yyerror_at of the file src/core/cfg.y of the component Grammar Rule Handler. Such manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The actual existence of this vulnerability is currently in question. This attack requires manipulating config files which might not be a realistic scenario in many cases. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A flaw has been found in Kamailio 5.5. The impacted element is the function rve_is_constant of the file src/core/rvalue.c. This manipulation causes null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been published and may be used. It is still unclear if this vulnerability genuinely exists. This attack requires manipulating config files which might not be a realistic scenario in many cases. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was found in Tenda W12 3.0.0.6(3948). The impacted element is the function wifiScheduledSet of the file /goform/modules of the component HTTP Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument wifiScheduledSet results in null pointer dereference. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
A vulnerability was identified in WebAssembly Binaryen up to 125. This affects the function IRBuilder::makeLocalGet/IRBuilder::makeLocalSet/IRBuilder::makeLocalTee of the file src/wasm/wasm-ir-builder.cpp of the component IRBuilder. Such manipulation of the argument Index leads to null pointer dereference. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The name of the patch is 6fb2b917a79578ab44cf3b900a6da4c27251e0d4. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue.
A flaw has been found in Open5GS up to 2.7.5. This impacts the function ogs_pfcp_handle_create_pdr in the library lib/pfcp/handler.c of the component FAR-ID Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to null pointer dereference. The attack may be performed from remote. The attack requires a high level of complexity. The exploitability is said to be difficult. The exploit has been published and may be used. This patch is called 93a9fd98a8baa94289be3b982028201de4534e32. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue.
A security flaw has been discovered in lief-project LIEF up to 0.17.1. Affected by this issue is the function Parser::parse_binary of the file src/ELF/Parser.tcc of the component ELF Binary Parser. The manipulation results in null pointer dereference. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 0.17.2 can resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 81bd5d7ea0c390563f1c4c017c9019d154802978. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
Null pointer dereference in Windows DirectX allows an authorized attacker to deny service over a network.
NanoMQ MQTT Broker (NanoMQ) is an all-around Edge Messaging Platform. In version 0.24.6, NanoMQ has a protocol parsing / forwarding inconsistency when handling shared subscriptions ($share/). A malformed SUBSCRIBE topic such as $share/ab (missing the second /) is not strictly validated during the subscription stage, so the invalid Topic Filter is stored into the subscription table. Later, when any PUBLISH matches this subscription, the broker send path (nmq_pipe_send_start_v4/v5) performs a second $share/ parsing using strchr() and increments the returned pointer without NULL checks. If the second strchr() returns NULL, sub_topic++ turns the pointer into an invalid address (e.g. 0x1). This invalid pointer is then passed into topic_filtern(), which triggers strlen() and crashes with SIGSEGV. The crash is stable and remotely triggerable. This issue has been patched in version 0.24.7.
