CVE-2020-11048 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Freerdp and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Freerdp and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 2.2 Low |
In FreeRDP after 1.0 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read. It only allows to abort a session. No data extraction is possible. This has been fixed in 2.0.0.
CVE-2020-11080 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nghttp2 and 4 more | 16 Debian Linux, Fedora, Nghttp2 and 13 more | 2024-08-04 | 3.7 Low |
In nghttp2 before version 1.41.0, the overly large HTTP/2 SETTINGS frame payload causes denial of service. The proof of concept attack involves a malicious client constructing a SETTINGS frame with a length of 14,400 bytes (2400 individual settings entries) over and over again. The attack causes the CPU to spike at 100%. nghttp2 v1.41.0 fixes this vulnerability. There is a workaround to this vulnerability. Implement nghttp2_on_frame_recv_callback callback, and if received frame is SETTINGS frame and the number of settings entries are large (e.g., > 32), then drop the connection.

CVE-2020-11042 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Freerdp and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Freerdp and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
In FreeRDP greater than 1.1 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in update_read_icon_info. It allows reading a attacker-defined amount of client memory (32bit unsigned -> 4GB) to an intermediate buffer. This can be used to crash the client or store information for later retrieval. This has been patched in 2.0.0.
CVE-2020-11046 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Freerdp and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Freerdp and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
In FreeRDP after 1.0 and before 2.0.0, there is a stream out-of-bounds seek in update_read_synchronize that could lead to a later out-of-bounds read.
CVE-2020-11040 | 4 Debian, Freerdp, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Freerdp, Leap and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 2.2 Low |
In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound data read from memory in clear_decompress_subcode_rlex, visualized on screen as color. This has been patched in 2.1.0.
CVE-2020-11019 | 4 Debian, Freerdp, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Freerdp, Leap and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.3 Medium |
In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, when running with logger set to "WLOG_TRACE", a possible crash of application could occur due to a read of an invalid array index. Data could be printed as string to local terminal. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.
CVE-2020-11023 | 8 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 65 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 62 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.9 Medium |
In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.0.3 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0.
CVE-2020-11018 | 4 Debian, Freerdp, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Freerdp, Leap and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, a possible resource exhaustion vulnerability can be performed. Malicious clients could trigger out of bound reads causing memory allocation with random size. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.
CVE-2020-10958 | 2 Dovecot, Redhat | 2 Dovecot, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
In Dovecot before 2.3.10.1, a crafted SMTP/LMTP message triggers an unauthenticated use-after-free bug in submission-login, submission, or lmtp, and can lead to a crash under circumstances involving many newlines after a command.
CVE-2020-10957 | 2 Dovecot, Redhat | 2 Dovecot, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
In Dovecot before 2.3.10.1, unauthenticated sending of malformed parameters to a NOOP command causes a NULL Pointer Dereference and crash in submission-login, submission, or lmtp.
CVE-2020-10933 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
An issue was discovered in Ruby 2.5.x through 2.5.7, 2.6.x through 2.6.5, and 2.7.0. If a victim calls BasicSocket#read_nonblock(requested_size, buffer, exception: false), the method resizes the buffer to fit the requested size, but no data is copied. Thus, the buffer string provides the previous value of the heap. This may expose possibly sensitive data from the interpreter.
CVE-2020-10878 | 6 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Opensuse and 3 more | 22 Fedora, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snap Creator Framework and 19 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.6 High |
Perl before 5.30.3 has an integer overflow related to mishandling of a "PL_regkind[OP(n)] == NOTHING" situation. A crafted regular expression could lead to malformed bytecode with a possibility of instruction injection.
CVE-2020-10763 | 2 Heketi Project, Redhat | 6 Heketi, Enterprise Linux, Gluster Storage and 3 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
