CVE | Vendors | Products | Updated | CVSS v3.1 |
---|---|---|---|---|
CVE-2017-13704 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2024-08-05 | N/A |
In dnsmasq before 2.78, if the DNS packet size does not match the expected size, the size parameter in a memset call gets a negative value. As it is an unsigned value, memset ends up writing up to 0xffffffff zero's (0xffffffffffffffff in 64 bit platforms), making dnsmasq crash. | ||||

Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA and WPA2) allows reinstallation of the Tunneled Direct-Link Setup (TDLS) Peer Key (TPK) during the TDLS handshake, allowing an attacker within radio range to replay, decrypt, or spoof frames. | ||||
CVE-2017-12987 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Tcpdump | 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 3 more | 2024-08-05 | 9.8 Critical |
The IEEE 802.11 parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-802_11.c:parse_elements(). | ||||

CVE-2017-12629 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 9 Solr, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2024-08-05 | 9.8 Critical |
Remote code execution occurs in Apache Solr before 7.1 with Apache Lucene before 7.1 by exploiting XXE in conjunction with use of a Config API add-listener command to reach the RunExecutableListener class. Elasticsearch, although it uses Lucene, is NOT vulnerable to this. Note that the XML external entity expansion vulnerability occurs in the XML Query Parser which is available, by default, for any query request with parameters deftype=xmlparser and can be exploited to upload malicious data to the /upload request handler or as Blind XXE using ftp wrapper in order to read arbitrary local files from the Solr server. Note also that the second vulnerability relates to remote code execution using the RunExecutableListener available on all affected versions of Solr. | ||||
CVE-2017-12613 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 17 Portable Runtime, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2024-08-05 | 7.1 High |
When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input. | ||||
CVE-2017-12173 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 7 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 4 more | 2024-08-05 | N/A |
It was found that sssd's sysdb_search_user_by_upn_res() function before 1.16.0 did not sanitize requests when querying its local cache and was vulnerable to injection. In a centralized login environment, if a password hash was locally cached for a given user, an authenticated attacker could use this flaw to retrieve it. | ||||
CVE-2017-12150 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Samba | 8 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more | 2024-08-05 | 7.4 High |
It was found that samba before 4.4.16, 4.5.x before 4.5.14, and 4.6.x before 4.6.8 did not enforce "SMB signing" when certain configuration options were enabled. A remote attacker could launch a man-in-the-middle attack and retrieve information in plain-text. | ||||
CVE-2017-12171 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 5 Http Server, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more | 2024-08-05 | N/A |
A regression was found in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 version of httpd 2.2.15-60, causing comments in the "Allow" and "Deny" configuration lines to be parsed incorrectly. A web administrator could unintentionally allow any client to access a restricted HTTP resource. |
