CVSS v3.1 |
Integer underflow in Freetype before 2.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a font file with an odd number of blue values, which causes the underflow when decrementing by 2 in a context that assumes an even number of values.
Integer overflow in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 1.x before 1.5 and 1.0.x before 1.0.8, Mozilla Suite before 1.7.13, and SeaMonkey before 1.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary bytecode via JavaScript with a large regular expression.
Integer overflow in wv2 before 0.2.3 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted Microsoft Word document.
Integer signedness error in Opera before 8.54 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via long values in a stylesheet attribute, which pass a length check. NOTE: a sign extension problem makes the attack easier with shorter strings.
Integer overflow in Apple QuickTime Player 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 and iTunes 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a FlashPix (FPX) image that contains a field that specifies a large number of blocks.
Multiple integer overflows in XFree86 before 4.3.0 allow user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted pixmap image.
Integer overflow in ImageIO in Apple Mac OS X 10.4 up to 10.4.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted JPEG image with malformed JPEG metadata, as demonstrated using Safari, aka "Deja-Doom".
Multiple integer overflows in ImageMagick before 6.2.9 allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted Sun Rasterfile (bitmap) images that trigger heap-based buffer overflows.
Off-by-one buffer overflow in the Instance_options::complete_initialization function in instance_options.cc in the Instance Manager in MySQL before 5.0.23 and 5.1 before 5.1.12 might allow local users to cause a denial of service (application crash) via unspecified vectors, which triggers the overflow when the convert_dirname function is called. NOTE: the vendor has disputed this issue via e-mail to CVE, saying that it is only exploitable when the user has access to the configuration file or the Instance Manager daemon. Due to intended functionality, this level of access would already allow the user to disrupt program operation, so this does not cross security boundaries and is not a vulnerability
The IAPP dissector (packet-iapp.c) for Ethereal 0.9.1 to 0.10.9 does not properly use certain routines for formatting strings, which could leave it vulnerable to buffer overflows, as demonstrated using modified length values that are not properly handled by the dissect_pdus and pduval_to_str functions.
Integer overflow in Skype client before 1.4.x.84 on Windows, before 1.3.x.17 on Mac OS, before 1.2.x.18 on Linux, and 1.1.x.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via crafted network data with a large Object Counter value, which leads to a resultant heap-based buffer overflow.
Integer overflow in Apple QuickTime before 7.0.3 allows user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted MOV file with "Improper movie attributes."
Multiple off-by-one errors in the cURL library (libcurl) 7.11.2 through 7.15.0 allow local users to trigger a buffer overflow and cause a denial of service or bypass PHP security restrictions via certain URLs that (1) are malformed in a way that prevents a terminating null byte from being added to either a hostname or path buffer, or (2) contain a "?" separator in the hostname portion, which causes a "/" to be prepended to the resulting string.
snmp_api.c in snmpd in Net-SNMP 5.2.x before 5.2.2, 5.1.x before 5.1.3, and 5.0.x before 5.0.10.2, when running in master agentx mode, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) by causing a particular TCP disconnect, which triggers a free of an incorrect variable, a different vulnerability than CVE-2005-2177.
ftpd in NetBSD 1.5 through 1.5.3 and 1.6 does not properly quote a digit in response to a STAT command for a filename that contains a carriage return followed by a digit, which can cause firewalls and other intermediary devices to lose proper track of the FTP session.
parse-packet.c in GnuPG (gpg) 1.4.3 and 1.9.20, and earlier versions, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (gpg crash) and possibly overwrite memory via a message packet with a large length (long user ID string), which could lead to an integer overflow, as demonstrated using the --no-armor option.
The Remote Mount feature can potentially be abused by valid, authenticated users to make connections to internal services that may not normally be accessible to users. Internal service access controls, as applicable, remain in effect.
|
PowerPath Management Appliance with version 3.3 contains Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An authenticated admin user could potentially exploit this issue and gain unrestricted control/code execution on the system as root.

`zip` is a zip library for rust which supports reading and writing of simple ZIP files. In the archive extraction routine of affected versions of the `zip` crate starting with version 1.3.0 and prior to version 2.3.0, symbolic links earlier in the archive are allowed to be used for later files in the archive without validation of the final canonicalized path, allowing maliciously crafted archives to overwrite arbitrary files in the file system when extracted. Users who extract untrusted archive files using the following high-level API method may be affected and critical files on the system may be overwritten with arbitrary file permissions, which can potentially lead to code execution. Version 2.3.0 fixes the issue.
