CVSS v3.1 |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1.8. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the sound/usb/line6/driver.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.8. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the sound/usb/helper.c (motu_microbookii) driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1.17. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the sound/usb/line6/pcm.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.1. There is a use-after-free caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/net/wireless/intersil/p54/p54usb.c driver.
lmp_print_data_link_subobjs() in print-lmp.c in tcpdump before 4.9.3 lacks certain bounds checks.
rpcapd/daemon.c in libpcap before 1.9.1 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) if a crypt() call fails.
WriteTIFFImage in coders/tiff.c in ImageMagick 7.0.8-43 Q16 allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (application crash resulting from a heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted TIFF image file, related to TIFFRewriteDirectory, TIFFWriteDirectory, TIFFWriteDirectorySec, and TIFFWriteDirectoryTagColormap in tif_dirwrite.c of LibTIFF. NOTE: this occurs because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2019-11597.
parse_audio_mixer_unit in sound/usb/mixer.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9 mishandles a short descriptor, leading to out-of-bounds memory access.
memcached 1.5.16, when UNIX sockets are used, has a stack-based buffer over-read in conn_to_str in memcached.c.
Ansible, versions 2.9.x before 2.9.1, 2.8.x before 2.8.7 and Ansible versions 2.7.x before 2.7.15, is not respecting the flag no_log set it to True when Sumologic and Splunk callback plugins are used send tasks results events to collectors. This would discloses and collects any sensitive data.
A vulnerability was found in Ansible engine 2.x up to 2.8 and Ansible tower 3.x up to 3.5. When a module has an argument_spec with sub parameters marked as no_log, passing an invalid parameter name to the module will cause the task to fail before the no_log options in the sub parameters are processed. As a result, data in the sub parameter fields will not be masked and will be displayed if Ansible is run with increased verbosity and present in the module invocation arguments for the task.
OpenShift Container Platform 4 does not sanitize secret data written to static pod logs when the log level in a given operator is set to Debug or higher. A low privileged user could read pod logs to discover secret material if the log level has already been modified in an operator by a privileged user.
In Ansible, all Ansible Engine versions up to ansible-engine 2.8.5, ansible-engine 2.7.13, ansible-engine 2.6.19, were logging at the DEBUG level which lead to a disclosure of credentials if a plugin used a library that logged credentials at the DEBUG level. This flaw does not affect Ansible modules, as those are executed in a separate process.
An issue was discovered on MicroDigital N-series cameras with firmware through 6400.0.8.5. A buffer overflow in the action parameter leads to remote code execution in the context of the nobody account.
A denial of service issue in HTTPD was discovered on MicroDigital N-series cameras with firmware through 6400.0.8.5. An attacker without authorization can upload a file to upload.php with a filename longer than 256 bytes. This will be placed in the updownload area. It will not be deleted, because of a buffer overflow in a Bash command string.
An issue was discovered on MicroDigital N-series cameras with firmware through 6400.0.8.5. In a CGI program running under the HTTPD web server, a buffer overflow in the param parameter leads to remote code execution in the context of the nobody account.
Improper buffer restrictions in firmware for Intel(R) NUC(R) may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Pointer corruption in system firmware for Intel(R) NUC may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege, denial of service and/or information disclosure via local access.
Improper bounds checking in Dnsmasq before 2.76 allows an attacker controlled DNS server to send large DNS packets that result in a read operation beyond the buffer allocated for the packet, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-14491.
GnuCOBOL 2.2 has a buffer overflow in cb_evaluate_expr in cobc/field.c via crafted COBOL source code.
