CVSS v3.1 |
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.17.8, the @backstage/backend-defaults package is affected by improper input validation in cloud storage url readers. An attacker with write access to a cloud storage bucket used by Backstage could craft object names that could collide with protected files in the output directory. In certain deployment configurations, this could lead to content injection. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.8.
A flaw was found in Ghostscript. When Ghostscript renders a crafted PostScript or EPS document, it can bypass the -dSAFER sandbox and execute arbitrary shell commands in the context of the Ghostscript process. The issue chains memory corruption in document parsing with disabling of internal path access controls at runtime. An attacker can deliver the document directly or through formats that delegate rendering to Ghostscript (for example EPS import or print conversion workflows). Successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data accessible to the process running Ghostscript.
A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service.
A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). When Identity Provider (IdP) authentication is enabled, pre-authentication requests retain state in memory without being cleared or timed out. A local attacker can repeatedly initiate authentication flows without completing them, causing unbounded memory consumption. This memory exhaustion can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by degrading or terminating SSSD authentication services.
A flaw was found in `sssd-kcm`. A local user or process able to connect to the `sssd-kcm` UNIX socket can exploit this vulnerability. By sending a large request length header and then stalling the connection, an attacker can cause the system to preallocate significant memory. This leads to memory exhaustion within the `sssd-kcm` responder, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for affected deployments.
A flaw has been found in itsourcecode Online Admission System 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file /new.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument schedid can lead to sql injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
A security flaw has been discovered in SourceCodester Online Reviewer Management System 1.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /reviewer_0/admins/assessments/activities/btn_functions.php?action=update. The manipulation of the argument Title results in sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.
A security flaw has been discovered in SourceCodester Drug Recommendation System 1.0. The impacted element is the function mysqli_real_escape_string of the file /Admin/add_symptom.php of the component Symptom Creation. Performing a manipulation of the argument txtname results in sql injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.
Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. From 4.0.0 until 4.7.10, Handlebars.precompile() uses quotedString() in lib/handlebars/compiler/code-gen.js to emit static template text into generated JavaScript without escaping sequences that terminate an enclosing HTML script element. When an application precompiles attacker-controlled template text and embeds the generated source directly in an inline script element, a closing script delimiter can end the element and cause following attacker-controlled markup to be parsed and executed. Ordinary server-side rendering and precompiled templates served as external JavaScript files are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.7.10.
Gitea's container registry served blob downloads with a `Content-Type` taken from the media type declared in pushed image manifests, without a `Content-Disposition` or restrictive content security policy. A user who can push container images can publish a blob containing HTML and JavaScript with a `text/html` media type. When a victim who is authenticated to the instance opens the blob URL in a browser, the script runs on the Gitea origin and can perform actions as the victim, such as creating API tokens.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CWE-770) in Elasticsearch can lead to Denial of Service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). Elasticsearch enforces a size limit on the user-supplied metadata field for each individual template resource, but does not limit the total memory used when multiple such resources are retrieved together. A user holding the *manage_index_templates* cluster privilege can register multiple resources each within the individual limit. Retrieving them together materializes all of their metadata values in memory at once, exhausting available heap and causing the affected node to fail with an out-of-memory error, resulting in a denial of service.
A security flaw has been discovered in mooSocial up to 3.2.4. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /stores/all-products. Performing a manipulation of the argument rating results in sql injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability has been found in InternLM MindSearch 0.1.0. This issue affects the function ExecutionAction.run of the file mindsearch/agent/graph.py of the component Planner Agent. The manipulation of the argument inputs leads to code injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
WWBN AVideo through 29.2.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows users with upload permission to inject script by setting a malicious video trailer1 URL. The value is rendered unescaped in YouPHPFlix2 templates and channel playlists, letting attackers break out of onclick strings or iframe src attributes to execute JavaScript in victims' browsers.
Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value (CWE-789) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user with connector management privileges could cause the cluster to allocate an uncontrolled amount of memory when connector resources with an excessively large `description` field are created and subsequently accessed, exhausting available heap memory and crashing the affected node.
A vulnerability was found in kishor-23 food-waste-management-system 411989e3ecb82895e53dca7865f72145f03d7d93/b3a70b2c492dc9904de5be1ad9389bd79b87f82c. The affected element is the function insert of the file fooddonateform.php of the component Food Donation Form. Performing a manipulation of the argument image-choice results in sql injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
