| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/rxe: Fix mr->map double free
rxe_mr_cleanup() which tries to free mr->map again will be called when
rxe_mr_init_user() fails:

This issue was firstly exposed since commit b18c7da63fcb ("RDMA/rxe: Fix
memory leak in error path code") and then we fixed it in commit
8ff5f5d9d8cf ("RDMA/rxe: Prevent double freeing rxe_map_set()") but this
fix was reverted together at last by commit 1e75550648da (Revert
"RDMA/rxe: Create duplicate mapping tables for FMRs")
Simply let rxe_mr_cleanup() always handle freeing the mr->map once it is
successfully allocated. |

i40e: fix IRQ freeing in i40e_vsi_request_irq_msix error path
If request_irq() in i40e_vsi_request_irq_msix() fails in an iteration
later than the first, the error path wants to free the IRQs requested
so far. However, it uses the wrong dev_id argument for free_irq(), so
it does not free the IRQs correctly and instead triggers the warning:
Trying to free already-free IRQ 173

Use the same dev_id for free_irq() as for request_irq().
I tested this with inserting code to fail intentionally. |

sctp: linearize cloned gso packets in sctp_rcv
A cloned head skb still shares these frag skbs in fraglist with the
original head skb. It's not safe to access these frag skbs.

This patch fixes it by linearizing cloned gso packets in sctp_rcv(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/i915: mark requests for GuC virtual engines to avoid use-after-free
References to i915_requests may be trapped by userspace inside a
sync_file or dmabuf (dma-resv) and held indefinitely across different
proceses. To counter-act the memory leaks, we try to not to keep
references from the request past their completion.
On the other side on fence release we need to know if rq->engine
is valid and points to hw engine (true for non-virtual requests).
To make it possible extra bit has been added to rq->execution_mask,
for marking virtual engines.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Fix use-after-free in snd_usb_mixer_free()
When snd_usb_create_mixer() fails, snd_usb_mixer_free() frees
mixer->id_elems but the controls already added to the card still
reference the freed memory. Later when snd_card_register() runs,
the OSS mixer layer calls their callbacks and hits a use-after-free read.
Call trace:

snd_card_register+0x4ed/0x6d0 sound/core/init.c:923
usb_audio_probe+0x5ef/0x2a90 sound/usb/card.c:1025
Fix by calling snd_ctl_remove() for all mixer controls before freeing
id_elems. We save the next pointer first because snd_ctl_remove()
frees the current element. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net_sched: hfsc: Fix a UAF vulnerability in class handling
This patch fixes a Use-After-Free vulnerability in the HFSC qdisc class
handling. The issue occurs due to a time-of-check/time-of-use condition
in hfsc_change_class() when working with certain child qdiscs like netem
or codel.
The vulnerability works as follows:
1. hfsc_change_class() checks if a class has packets (q.qlen != 0)
2. It then calls qdisc_peek_len(), which for certain qdiscs (e.g.,
codel, netem) might drop packets and empty the queue
3. The code continues assuming the queue is still non-empty, adding
the class to vttree
4. This breaks HFSC scheduler assumptions that only non-empty classes
are in vttree
5. Later, when the class is destroyed, this can lead to a Use-After-Free
The fix adds a second queue length check after qdisc_peek_len() to verify
the queue wasn't emptied. |

If dentry->d_name.len < EFI_VARIABLE_GUID_LEN , 'guid' can become
negative, leadings to oob. The issue can be triggered by parallel
lookups using invalid filename:

Fix it by checking 'guid' before cmp. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2.23 and 6.9.13-48, due to a missing check in the MIFF decoder, a crafted file could cause an infinite loop resulting in CPU exhaustion. Versions 7.1.2.23 and 6.9.13-48 fix the issue. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-48 and 7.1.2-23, when reading multiple images with different dimensions an out of bounds heap write can occur. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-48 and 7.1.2-23. |
