CVE-2024-32985 2024-08-02 5.9 Medium
Stellar-core is a reference implementation for the peer-to-peer agent that manages the Stellar network. Prior to 20.4.0, core nodes could be randomly crashed due to a race condition with a 3rd party library. The likelihood of affecting the network is low since crashed nodes come back up online right away. Code fix mitigation is part of Stellar-core v20.4.0 release
CVE-2024-32908 1 Google 1 Android 2024-08-02 8.4 High
In sec_media_protect of media.c, there is a possible permission bypass due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2024-32891 1 Google 1 Android 2024-08-02 7 High
In sec_media_unprotect of media.c, there is a possible memory corruption due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2024-32477 2024-08-02 7.7 High
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime with secure defaults. By using ANSI escape sequences and a race between `libc::tcflush(0, libc::TCIFLUSH)` and reading standard input, it's possible to manipulate the permission prompt and force it to allow an unsafe action regardless of the user input. Some ANSI escape sequences act as a info request to the master terminal emulator and the terminal emulator sends back the reply in the PTY channel. standard streams also use this channel to send and get data. For example the `\033[6n` sequence requests the current cursor position. These sequences allow us to append data to the standard input of Deno. This vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass Deno permission policy. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.42.2.
CVE-2024-30046 2 Microsoft, Redhat 4 .net, Visual Studio, Visual Studio 2022 and 1 more 2024-08-02 5.9 Medium
Visual Studio Denial of Service Vulnerability
CVE-2024-28999 1 Solarwinds 1 Solarwinds Platform 2024-08-02 6.4 Medium
The SolarWinds Platform was determined to be affected by a Race Condition Vulnerability affecting the web console.
CVE-2024-27102 2024-08-02 10 Critical
Wings is the server control plane for Pterodactyl Panel. This vulnerability impacts anyone running the affected versions of Wings. The vulnerability can potentially be used to access files and directories on the host system. The full scope of impact is exactly unknown, but reading files outside of a server's base directory (sandbox root) is possible. In order to use this exploit, an attacker must have an existing "server" allocated and controlled by Wings. Details on the exploitation of this vulnerability are embargoed until March 27th, 2024 at 18:00 UTC. In order to mitigate this vulnerability, a full rewrite of the entire server filesystem was necessary. Because of this, the size of the patch is massive, however effort was made to reduce the amount of breaking changes. Users are advised to update to version 1.11.9. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-26578 2024-08-02 N/A
Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability in Apache Answer. This issue affects Apache Answer: through 1.2.1. Repeated submission during registration resulted in the registration of the same user. When users register, if they rapidly submit multiple registrations using scripts, it can result in the creation of multiple user accounts simultaneously with the same name. Users are recommended to upgrade to version [1.2.5], which fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-26307 1 Apache 1 Doris 2024-08-02 5.3 Medium
Possible race condition vulnerability in Apache Doris. Some of code using `chmod()` method. This method run the risk of someone renaming the file out from under user and chmodding the wrong file. This could theoretically happen, but the impact would be minimal. This issue affects Apache Doris: before 1.2.8, before 2.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.4, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-24858 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-08-01 4.6 Medium
A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth in {conn,adv}_{min,max}_interval_set() function. This can result in I2cap connection or broadcast abnormality issue, possibly leading to denial of service.
CVE-2024-24861 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-08-01 3.3 Low
A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's media/xc4000 device driver in xc4000 xc4000_get_frequency() function. This can result in return value overflow issue, possibly leading to malfunction or denial of service issue.
CVE-2024-24860 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-08-01 4.6 Medium
A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's bluetooth device driver in {min,max}_key_size_set() function. This can result in a null pointer dereference issue, possibly leading to a kernel panic or denial of service issue.

CVE-2024-23651 1 Mobyproject 1 Buildkit 2024-08-01 8.7 High
BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Two malicious build steps running in parallel sharing the same cache mounts with subpaths could cause a race condition that can lead to files from the host system being accessible to the build container. The issue has been fixed in v0.12.5. Workarounds include, avoiding using BuildKit frontend from an untrusted source or building an untrusted Dockerfile containing cache mounts with --mount=type=cache,source=... options.
