In Eclipse JGit versions 7.2.0.202503040940-r and older, the ManifestParser class used by the repo command and the AmazonS3 class used to implement the experimental amazons3 git transport protocol allowing to store git pack files in an Amazon S3 bucket, are vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) attacks when parsing XML files. This vulnerability can lead to information disclosure, denial of service, and other security issues.
CVE-2025-58052 1 Galette 1 Galette 2026-01-05 8.1 High
Galette is a membership management web application for non profit organizations. Starting in version 0.9.6 and prior to version 1.2.0, attackers with group manager role can bypass intended restrictions allowing unauthorized access and changes despite role-based controls. Since it requires privileged access initially, exploitation is restricted to malicious insiders or compromised group managers accounts. Version 1.2.0 fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-31452 1 Openfga 1 Openfga 2026-01-05 8.1 High
OpenFGA is a high-performance and flexible authorization/permission engine. Some end users of OpenFGA v1.5.0 or later are vulnerable to authorization bypass when calling Check or ListObjects APIs. You are very likely affected if your model involves exclusion (e.g. `a but not b`) or intersection (e.g. `a and b`). This vulnerability is fixed in v1.5.3.
CVE-2024-24576 3 Fedoraproject, Microsoft, Rust-lang 3 Fedora, Windows, Rust 2026-01-05 10 Critical
Rust is a programming language. The Rust Security Response WG was notified that the Rust standard library prior to version 1.77.2 did not properly escape arguments when invoking batch files (with the `bat` and `cmd` extensions) on Windows using the `Command`. An attacker able to control the arguments passed to the spawned process could execute arbitrary shell commands by bypassing the escaping. The severity of this vulnerability is critical for those who invoke batch files on Windows with untrusted arguments. No other platform or use is affected. The `Command::arg` and `Command::args` APIs state in their documentation that the arguments will be passed to the spawned process as-is, regardless of the content of the arguments, and will not be evaluated by a shell. This means it should be safe to pass untrusted input as an argument. On Windows, the implementation of this is more complex than other platforms, because the Windows API only provides a single string containing all the arguments to the spawned process, and it's up to the spawned process to split them. Most programs use the standard C run-time argv, which in practice results in a mostly consistent way arguments are splitted. One exception though is `cmd.exe` (used among other things to execute batch files), which has its own argument splitting logic. That forces the standard library to implement custom escaping for arguments passed to batch files. Unfortunately it was reported that our escaping logic was not thorough enough, and it was possible to pass malicious arguments that would result in arbitrary shell execution. Due to the complexity of `cmd.exe`, we didn't identify a solution that would correctly escape arguments in all cases. To maintain our API guarantees, we improved the robustness of the escaping code, and changed the `Command` API to return an `InvalidInput` error when it cannot safely escape an argument. This error will be emitted when spawning the process. The fix is included in Rust 1.77.2. Note that the new escaping logic for batch files errs on the conservative side, and could reject valid arguments. Those who implement the escaping themselves or only handle trusted inputs on Windows can also use the `CommandExt::raw_arg` method to bypass the standard library's escaping logic.
CVE-2024-4439 1 Wordpress 1 Wordpress 2026-01-05 7.2 High
WordPress Core is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via user display names in the Avatar block in various versions up to 6.5.2 due to insufficient output escaping on the display name. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. In addition, it also makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that have the comment block present and display the comment author's avatar.

CVE-2024-50191 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: don't set SB_RDONLY after filesystem errors When the filesystem is mounted with errors=remount-ro, we were setting SB_RDONLY flag to stop all filesystem modifications. We knew this misses proper locking (sb->s_umount) and does not go through proper filesystem remount procedure but it has been the way this worked since early ext2 days and it was good enough for catastrophic situation damage mitigation. Recently, syzbot has found a way (see link) to trigger warnings in filesystem freezing because the code got confused by SB_RDONLY changing under its hands. Since these days we set EXT4_FLAGS_SHUTDOWN on the superblock which is enough to stop all filesystem modifications, modifying SB_RDONLY shouldn't be needed. So stop doing that.
CVE-2024-53128 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/task_stack: fix object_is_on_stack() for KASAN tagged pointers When CONFIG_KASAN_SW_TAGS and CONFIG_KASAN_STACK are enabled, the object_is_on_stack() function may produce incorrect results due to the presence of tags in the obj pointer, while the stack pointer does not have tags. This discrepancy can lead to incorrect stack object detection and subsequently trigger warnings if CONFIG_DEBUG_OBJECTS is also enabled. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: MIPS: cevt-r4k: Don't call get_c0_compare_int if timer irq is installed This avoids warning: [ 0.118053] BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/mutex.c:283 Caused by get_c0_compare_int on secondary CPU. We also skipped saving IRQ number to struct clock_event_device *cd as it's never used by clockevent core, as per comments it's only meant for "non CPU local devices".
CVE-2024-42135 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vhost_task: Handle SIGKILL by flushing work and exiting Instead of lingering until the device is closed, this has us handle SIGKILL by: 1. marking the worker as killed so we no longer try to use it with new virtqueues and new flush operations. 2. setting the virtqueue to worker mapping so no new works are queued. 3. running all the exiting works.
CVE-2024-41063 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: cancel all works upon hci_unregister_dev() syzbot is reporting that calling hci_release_dev() from hci_error_reset() due to hci_dev_put() from hci_error_reset() can cause deadlock at destroy_workqueue(), for hci_error_reset() is called from hdev->req_workqueue which destroy_workqueue() needs to flush. We need to make sure that hdev->{rx_work,cmd_work,tx_work} which are queued into hdev->workqueue and hdev->{power_on,error_reset} which are queued into hdev->req_workqueue are no longer running by the moment destroy_workqueue(hdev->workqueue); destroy_workqueue(hdev->req_workqueue); are called from hci_release_dev(). Call cancel_work_sync() on these work items from hci_unregister_dev() as soon as hdev->list is removed from hci_dev_list.

CVE-2024-40972 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: do not create EA inode under buffer lock ext4_xattr_set_entry() creates new EA inodes while holding buffer lock on the external xattr block. This is problematic as it nests all the allocation locking (which acquires locks on other buffers) under the buffer lock. This can even deadlock when the filesystem is corrupted and e.g. quota file is setup to contain xattr block as data block. Move the allocation of EA inode out of ext4_xattr_set_entry() into the callers.
CVE-2024-40967 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: imx: Introduce timeout when waiting on transmitter empty By waiting at most 1 second for USR2_TXDC to be set, we avoid a potential deadlock. In case of the timeout, there is not much we can do, so we simply ignore the transmitter state and optimistically try to continue.
CVE-2024-40965 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: lpi2c: Avoid calling clk_get_rate during transfer Instead of repeatedly calling clk_get_rate for each transfer, lock the clock rate and cache the value. A deadlock has been observed while adding tlv320aic32x4 audio codec to the system. When this clock provider adds its clock, the clk mutex is locked already, it needs to access i2c, which in return needs the mutex for clk_get_rate as well.
