CVE-2022-42252 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 2 Tomcat, Jboss Enterprise Web Server | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
If Apache Tomcat 8.5.0 to 8.5.82, 9.0.0-M1 to 9.0.67, 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.26 or 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0 was configured to ignore invalid HTTP headers via setting rejectIllegalHeader to false (the default for 8.5.x only), Tomcat did not reject a request containing an invalid Content-Length header making a request smuggling attack possible if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that also failed to reject the request with the invalid header.
CVE-2022-42263 | 5 Citrix, Linux, Nvidia and 2 more | 12 Hypervisor, Linux Kernel, Cloud Gaming and 9 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.1 High |

CVE-2022-42010 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freedesktop, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Dbus, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in D-Bus before 1.12.24, 1.13.x and 1.14.x before 1.14.4, and 1.15.x before 1.15.2. An authenticated attacker can cause dbus-daemon and other programs that use libdbus to crash when receiving a message with certain invalid type signatures.
CVE-2022-42011 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freedesktop, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Dbus, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in D-Bus before 1.12.24, 1.13.x and 1.14.x before 1.14.4, and 1.15.x before 1.15.2. An authenticated attacker can cause dbus-daemon and other programs that use libdbus to crash when receiving a message where an array length is inconsistent with the size of the element type.
CVE-2022-42012 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freedesktop, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Dbus, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in D-Bus before 1.12.24, 1.13.x and 1.14.x before 1.14.4, and 1.15.x before 1.15.2. An authenticated attacker can cause dbus-daemon and other programs that use libdbus to crash by sending a message with attached file descriptors in an unexpected format.
CVE-2022-41974 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensvc and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Multipath-tools and 4 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
multipath-tools 0.7.0 through 0.9.x before 0.9.2 allows local users to obtain root access, as exploited alone or in conjunction with CVE-2022-41973. Local users able to write to UNIX domain sockets can bypass access controls and manipulate the multipath setup. This can lead to local privilege escalation to root. This occurs because an attacker can repeat a keyword, which is mishandled because arithmetic ADD is used instead of bitwise OR.
CVE-2022-42004 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 19 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 16 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
In FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.13.4, resource exhaustion can occur because of a lack of a check in BeanDeserializer._deserializeFromArray to prevent use of deeply nested arrays. An application is vulnerable only with certain customized choices for deserialization.
CVE-2022-42003 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 20 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 17 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
In FasterXML jackson-databind before versions 2.13.4.1 and 2.12.17.1, resource exhaustion can occur because of a lack of a check in primitive value deserializers to avoid deep wrapper array nesting, when the UNWRAP_SINGLE_VALUE_ARRAYS feature is enabled.
CVE-2022-41973 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensvc and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Multipath-tools and 2 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
multipath-tools 0.7.7 through 0.9.x before 0.9.2 allows local users to obtain root access, as exploited in conjunction with CVE-2022-41974. Local users able to access /dev/shm can change symlinks in multipathd due to incorrect symlink handling, which could lead to controlled file writes outside of the /dev/shm directory. This could be used indirectly for local privilege escalation to root.
CVE-2022-41966 | 2 Redhat, Xstream Project | 10 Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 7 more | 2024-08-03 | 8.2 High |
XStream serializes Java objects to XML and back again. Versions prior to 1.4.20 may allow a remote attacker to terminate the application with a stack overflow error, resulting in a denial of service only via manipulation the processed input stream. The attack uses the hash code implementation for collections and maps to force recursive hash calculation causing a stack overflow. This issue is patched in version 1.4.20 which handles the stack overflow and raises an InputManipulationException instead. A potential workaround for users who only use HashMap or HashSet and whose XML refers these only as default map or set, is to change the default implementation of java.util.Map and java.util per the code example in the referenced advisory. However, this implies that your application does not care about the implementation of the map and all elements are comparable.
CVE-2022-41946 | 3 Debian, Postgresql, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Postgresql Jdbc Driver, Camel K and 7 more | 2024-08-03 | 4.7 Medium |
pgjdbc is an open source postgresql JDBC Driver. In affected versions a prepared statement using either `PreparedStatement.setText(int, InputStream)` or `PreparedStatemet.setBytea(int, InputStream)` will create a temporary file if the InputStream is larger than 2k. This will create a temporary file which is readable by other users on Unix like systems, but not MacOS. On Unix like systems, the system's temporary directory is shared between all users on that system. Because of this, when files and directories are written into this directory they are, by default, readable by other users on that same system. This vulnerability does not allow other users to overwrite the contents of these directories or files. This is purely an information disclosure vulnerability. Because certain JDK file system APIs were only added in JDK 1.7, this this fix is dependent upon the version of the JDK you are using. Java 1.7 and higher users: this vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.0. Java 1.6 and lower users: no patch is available. If you are unable to patch, or are stuck running on Java 1.6, specifying the java.io.tmpdir system environment variable to a directory that is exclusively owned by the executing user will mitigate this vulnerability.
CVE-2022-41940 | 2 Redhat, Socket | 2 Jboss Fuse, Engine.io | 2024-08-03 | 7.1 High |
Engine.IO is the implementation of transport-based cross-browser/cross-device bi-directional communication layer for Socket.IO. A specially crafted HTTP request can trigger an uncaught exception on the Engine.IO server, thus killing the Node.js process. This impacts all the users of the engine.io package, including those who uses depending packages like socket.io. There is no known workaround except upgrading to a safe version. There are patches for this issue released in versions 3.6.1 and 6.2.1. |
