CVE-2022-31742 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 6 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 3 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
An attacker could have exploited a timing attack by sending a large number of allowCredential entries and detecting the difference between invalid key handles and cross-origin key handles. This could have led to cross-origin account linking in violation of WebAuthn goals. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 91.10, Firefox < 101, and Firefox ESR < 91.10.
CVE-2022-31676 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 4 more | 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 6 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.8 High |
VMware Tools (12.0.0, 11.x.y and 10.x.y) contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A malicious actor with local non-administrative access to the Guest OS can escalate privileges as a root user in the virtual machine.
CVE-2022-31197 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Postgresql and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Postgresql Jdbc Driver and 3 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.1 High |
PostgreSQL JDBC Driver (PgJDBC for short) allows Java programs to connect to a PostgreSQL database using standard, database independent Java code. The PGJDBC implementation of the `java.sql.ResultRow.refreshRow()` method is not performing escaping of column names so a malicious column name that contains a statement terminator, e.g. `;`, could lead to SQL injection. This could lead to executing additional SQL commands as the application's JDBC user. User applications that do not invoke the `ResultSet.refreshRow()` method are not impacted. User application that do invoke that method are impacted if the underlying database that they are querying via their JDBC application may be under the control of an attacker. The attack requires the attacker to trick the user into executing SQL against a table name who's column names would contain the malicious SQL and subsequently invoke the `refreshRow()` method on the ResultSet. Note that the application's JDBC user and the schema owner need not be the same. A JDBC application that executes as a privileged user querying database schemas owned by potentially malicious less-privileged users would be vulnerable. In that situation it may be possible for the malicious user to craft a schema that causes the application to execute commands as the privileged user. Patched versions will be released as `42.2.26` and `42.4.1`. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-31213 | 2 Dbus-broker Project, Redhat | 2 Dbus-broker, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in dbus-broker before 31. Multiple NULL pointer dereferences can be found when supplying a malformed XML config file.
CVE-2022-31212 | 2 Dbus-broker Project, Redhat | 2 Dbus-broker, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in dbus-broker before 31. It depends on c-uitl/c-shquote to parse the DBus service's Exec line. c-shquote contains a stack-based buffer over-read if a malicious Exec line is supplied.
CVE-2022-31151 | 2 Nodejs, Redhat | 2 Undici, Acm | 2024-08-03 | 3.7 Low |
Authorization headers are cleared on cross-origin redirect. However, cookie headers which are sensitive headers and are official headers found in the spec, remain uncleared. There are active users using cookie headers in undici. This may lead to accidental leakage of cookie to a 3rd-party site or a malicious attacker who can control the redirection target (ie. an open redirector) to leak the cookie to the 3rd party site. This was patched in v5.7.1. By default, this vulnerability is not exploitable. Do not enable redirections, i.e. `maxRedirections: 0` (the default).
CVE-2022-31130 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 3 Grafana, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-03 | 4.9 Medium |
Grafana is an open source observability and data visualization platform. Versions of Grafana for endpoints prior to 9.1.8 and 8.5.14 could leak authentication tokens to some destination plugins under some conditions. The vulnerability impacts data source and plugin proxy endpoints with authentication tokens. The destination plugin could receive a user's Grafana authentication token. Versions 9.1.8 and 8.5.14 contain a patch for this issue. As a workaround, do not use API keys, JWT authentication, or any HTTP Header based authentication.
CVE-2022-31150 | 2 Nodejs, Redhat | 2 Undici, Acm | 2024-08-03 | 5.3 Medium |
undici is an HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js. It is possible to inject CRLF sequences into request headers in undici in versions less than 5.7.1. A fix was released in version 5.8.0. Sanitizing all HTTP headers from untrusted sources to eliminate `\r\n` is a workaround for this issue.
CVE-2022-31129 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Momentjs and 1 more | 17 Debian Linux, Fedora, Moment and 14 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
moment is a JavaScript date library for parsing, validating, manipulating, and formatting dates. Affected versions of moment were found to use an inefficient parsing algorithm. Specifically using string-to-date parsing in moment (more specifically rfc2822 parsing, which is tried by default) has quadratic (N^2) complexity on specific inputs. Users may notice a noticeable slowdown is observed with inputs above 10k characters. Users who pass user-provided strings without sanity length checks to moment constructor are vulnerable to (Re)DoS attacks. The problem is patched in 2.29.4, the patch can be applied to all affected versions with minimal tweaking. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should consider limiting date lengths accepted from user input.
CVE-2022-31123 | 3 Grafana, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Grafana, E-series Performance Analyzer, Ceph Storage and 1 more | 2024-08-03 | 6.1 Medium |
Grafana is an open source observability and data visualization platform. Versions prior to 9.1.8 and 8.5.14 are vulnerable to a bypass in the plugin signature verification. An attacker can convince a server admin to download and successfully run a malicious plugin even though unsigned plugins are not allowed. Versions 9.1.8 and 8.5.14 contain a patch for this issue. As a workaround, do not install plugins downloaded from untrusted sources.
CVE-2022-31116 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Ultrajson Project | 3 Fedora, Openstack, Ultrajson | 2024-08-03 | 7.5 High |
UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. Affected versions were found to improperly decode certain characters. JSON strings that contain escaped surrogate characters not part of a proper surrogate pair were decoded incorrectly. Besides corrupting strings, this allowed for potential key confusion and value overwriting in dictionaries. All users parsing JSON from untrusted sources are vulnerable. From version 5.4.0, UltraJSON decodes lone surrogates in the same way as the standard library's `json` module does, preserving them in the parsed output. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-31117 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Ultrajson Project | 3 Fedora, Openstack, Ultrajson | 2024-08-03 | 5.9 Medium |
UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. In versions prior to 5.4.0 an error occurring while reallocating a buffer for string decoding can cause the buffer to get freed twice. Due to how UltraJSON uses the internal decoder, this double free is impossible to trigger from Python. This issue has been resolved in version 5.4.0 and all users should upgrade to UltraJSON 5.4.0. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-31107 | 3 Grafana, Netapp, Redhat | 6 Grafana, E-series Performance Analyzer, Ceph Storage and 3 more | 2024-08-03 | 7.1 High |
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. In versions 5.3 until 9.0.3, 8.5.9, 8.4.10, and 8.3.10, it is possible for a malicious user who has authorization to log into a Grafana instance via a configured OAuth IdP which provides a login name to take over the account of another user in that Grafana instance. This can occur when the malicious user is authorized to log in to Grafana via OAuth, the malicious user's external user id is not already associated with an account in Grafana, the malicious user's email address is not already associated with an account in Grafana, and the malicious user knows the Grafana username of the target user. If these conditions are met, the malicious user can set their username in the OAuth provider to that of the target user, then go through the OAuth flow to log in to Grafana. Due to the way that external and internal user accounts are linked together during login, if the conditions above are all met then the malicious user will be able to log in to the target user's Grafana account. Versions 9.0.3, 8.5.9, 8.4.10, and 8.3.10 contain a patch for this issue. As a workaround, concerned users can disable OAuth login to their Grafana instance, or ensure that all users authorized to log in via OAuth have a corresponding user account in Grafana linked to their email address.
CVE-2022-31097 | 3 Grafana, Netapp, Redhat | 3 Grafana, E-series Performance Analyzer, Ceph Storage | 2024-08-03 | 7.3 High |
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Versions on the 8.x and 9.x branch prior to 9.0.3, 8.5.9, 8.4.10, and 8.3.10 are vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting via the Unified Alerting feature of Grafana. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to escalate privilege from editor to admin by tricking an authenticated admin to click on a link. Versions 9.0.3, 8.5.9, 8.4.10, and 8.3.10 contain a patch. As a workaround, it is possible to disable alerting or use legacy alerting.
CVE-2022-31045 | 2 Istio, Redhat | 2 Istio, Service Mesh | 2024-08-03 | 7 High |
Istio is an open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices. In affected versions ill-formed headers sent to Envoy in certain configurations can lead to unexpected memory access resulting in undefined behavior or crashing. Users are most likely at risk if they have an Istio ingress Gateway exposed to external traffic. This vulnerability has been resolved in versions 1.12.8, 1.13.5, and 1.14.1. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-31051 | 2 Redhat, Semantic-release Project | 2 Rhev Manager, Semantic-release | 2024-08-03 | 4.4 Medium |
semantic-release is an open source npm package for automated version management and package publishing. In affected versions secrets that would normally be masked by semantic-release can be accidentally disclosed if they contain characters that are excluded from uri encoding by `encodeURI`. Occurrence is further limited to execution contexts where push access to the related repository is not available without modifying the repository url to inject credentials. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that secrets that do not contain characters that are excluded from encoding with `encodeURI` when included in a URL are already masked properly.
CVE-2022-30973 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 2 Tika, Integration | 2024-08-03 | 5.5 Medium |
We failed to apply the fix for CVE-2022-30126 to the 1.x branch in the 1.28.2 release. In Apache Tika, a regular expression in the StandardsText class, used by the StandardsExtractingContentHandler could lead to a denial of service caused by backtracking on a specially crafted file. This only affects users who are running the StandardsExtractingContentHandler, which is a non-standard handler. This is fixed in 1.28.3.
CVE-2022-30954 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Blue Ocean, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
Jenkins Blue Ocean Plugin 1.25.3 and earlier does not perform a permission check in several HTTP endpoints, allowing attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified HTTP server.
CVE-2022-30945 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Pipeline\, Openshift | 2024-08-03 | 8.5 High |
Jenkins Pipeline: Groovy Plugin 2689.v434009a_31b_f1 and earlier allows loading any Groovy source files on the classpath of Jenkins and Jenkins plugins in sandboxed pipelines.
CVE-2022-30953 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Blue Ocean, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2024-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Jenkins Blue Ocean Plugin 1.25.3 and earlier allows attackers to connect to an attacker-specified HTTP server. |
