The unrestricted upload is only possible for authenticated and authorized users. This issue affects Apache StreamPipes: through 0.93.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.95.0, which fixes the issue.

On versions before 2.1.4, session is not invalidated after logout. When the user logged in successfully, the Backend service returns "Authorization" as the front-end authentication credential. "Authorization" can still initiate requests and access data even after logout. Mitigation: all users should upgrade to 2.1.4

An endpoint exposing internals to unauthenticated users can be used as a "padding oracle" allowing an anonymous attacker to construct a valid authentication cookie. Potentially this could be combined with vulnerabilities in other components to achieve remote code execution. As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
