CVSS v3.1 |
| jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 4.5.0 until 4.5.10 and 4.6.2, in jupyterlab/extensions/manager.py and jupyterlab/extensions/pypi.py, JupyterLab's PyPI extension manager enforces blocked_extensions_uris by comparing requested install names to blocklist entries with custom normalization that is weaker than PyPI package-name canonicalization. An authenticated user can request a PyPI-equivalent spelling such as JupyterLab.Git for a blocklisted package such as jupyterlab-git, and JupyterLab accepts the install request even though pip resolves the variant to the same package. Security impact requires an allowlist or blocklist intended to restrict package installation, the PyPI Extension Manager, and kernels and terminals that are disabled or delegated to remote hosts. The bypass lets an authenticated user install a prohibited extension, defeat integrity restrictions, and affect availability without gaining new read access. This issue is fixed in versions 4.5.10 and 4.6.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: tas2781: bound firmware description string parsing
The TAS2781 firmware parser reads several variable-length description
strings with strlen() before checking that the string terminator is
present inside the firmware blob. A malformed firmware image without a
NUL terminator can therefore make the parser walk past the end of the
firmware buffer before the later size checks run.
Add a small bounded string-length helper and use it for all description
fields that are parsed from the firmware buffer. Keep the existing size
checks for the fixed bytes that follow each string. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
IB/mad: Drop unmatched RMPP responses before reassembly
Kernel-handled RMPP receive processing starts reassembly for active
DATA responses before the response is matched to an outstanding send.
The normal match happens later, after ib_process_rmpp_recv_wc() has
either assembled a complete message or consumed the segment.
That ordering lets an unsolicited response that routes to a kernel
RMPP agent by the high TID bits allocate or extend RMPP receive state
before the full TID and source address are checked against a real
request. A reordered burst can therefore reach the receive-side
insertion path even though the response would not match any send.
For kernel-handled RMPP DATA responses, require the existing
ib_find_send_mad() match before entering RMPP reassembly. The matcher
already checks the full TID, management class and source address/GID
against the agent wait, backlog and in-flight send lists. If there is
no match, drop the response without creating RMPP state.
This leaves the RMPP window behavior unchanged and only rejects
responses that have no corresponding request. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/vc4: Prevent shader BO mappings from becoming writable
vc4_gem_object_mmap() rejects a writable mapping of a validated shader
BO, but leaves VM_MAYWRITE set. Userspace can map the BO read-only and
then turn it writable with mprotect().
Validated shader BOs must stay read-only: the validator checks the
instructions once and the GPU trusts them afterwards. A writable
mapping lets userspace rewrite the code after validation, bypassing the
validator.
Clear VM_MAYWRITE on the read-only path so the mapping cannot be
upgraded, as i915 already does for its read-only objects. |
| Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.1.6, 2026.5.2, 2026.6.1, and 2026.7.0, Onebox::DomainChecker.is_blocked? compares hostnames and SiteSetting.blocked_onebox_domains entries case-sensitively, allowing an attacker to bypass configured Onebox domain restrictions by changing character casing in a redirect target hostname. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.1.6, 2026.5.2, 2026.6.1, and 2026.7.0. |

| A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the raw_to_header function in src/microtar.c in rxi microtar 0.1.0. The function copies the 100-byte name and linkname fields of a TAR header with strcpy without guaranteeing null termination of the source. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netconsole: avoid OOB reads, msg is not nul-terminated
msg passed to netconsole from the console subsystem is not guaranteed
to be nul-terminated. Before recent
commit 7eab73b18630 ("netconsole: convert to NBCON console infrastructure")
the message would be placed in printk_shared_pbufs, a static global
buffer, so KASAN had harder time catching OOB accesses. Now we see:

| A flaw was found in Keycloak's Authorization Services. The component responsible for matching request paths to security policies (PathMatcher) does not properly normalize URIs before comparison. By adding extra characters like a trailing slash or matrix parameters to a URL, an attacker can trick the system into applying a less restrictive security policy than intended. This allows an authenticated user to access administrative or restricted areas they should not have permission to see. |
| Jenkins 2.575 and earlier, LTS 2.568.1 and earlier handles case-insensitivity in user names and group names inconsistently, allowing attackers able to create new users or groups with names that case-insensitively match other characters to impersonate other users or be granted their permissions in some circumstances. |
| Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.21.7 until 3.21.10 and 4.5.1, mixed-case routeRules keys can fail to match case-folded lookups when router.options.sensitive is false and drop appMiddleware authorization gates. This is caused by an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-53721. This issue is fixed in 3.21.10 and 4.5.1. |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, UrlGenerator::doGenerate() used strtr() dot-segment encoding that skipped every other chained ../ or ./ segment, allowing attacker-controlled route parameters to generate URLs that collapse to a different path under RFC 3986 normalization. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13. |
| Improper Handling of Case Sensitivity vulnerability in Erlang Ecosystem Foundation oidcc_plug (Oidcc.Plug.Authorize module) renders the user agent session binding inert, removing a defense in depth control against replay of a stolen session.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/oidcc/plug/authorize.ex and lib/oidcc/plug/authorization_callback.ex, and program routines Oidcc.Plug.Authorize.call/2 and Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback.call/2.
Oidcc.Plug.Authorize.call/2 reads the initiating client's user agent with get_req_header(conn, "User-Agent"). Plug lowercases incoming header names, but get_req_header/2 matches the supplied key exactly and performs no normalization of its own, so the mixed-case lookup always returns an empty list and nil is written into the session. On the callback side, Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback treats a stored nil user agent as nothing to compare and returns :ok without inspecting the request. The two behaviours combine so that the check passes unconditionally on every request, including for deployments that explicitly opted in with check_useragent: true, and an authorization callback can be completed from a different user agent than the one that initiated the flow without detection. The check fails open silently, with no error and no log entry, so a deployment cannot tell the binding is absent.
The impact is limited to defense in depth. The inert check does not by itself allow an attacker to complete an authorization flow; it removes one layer that would otherwise hinder use of a stolen or leaked session, such as an exfiltrated session cookie replayed from a different client. The CSRF/state, nonce, and PKCE checks are unaffected and continue to function. Deployments that never enabled check_useragent are not affected in practice, since they never expected the binding. The corresponding lookup in Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback correctly uses the lowercase key and is not affected.
This issue affects oidcc_plug: from 0.1.0-alpha.3 before 0.5.0. |
| In Eclipse Jetty, the Digest authentication server-side component uses ISO-8859-1 to encode the password as bytes.
This was done because the initial specification for HTTP did not specify explicitly a charset, and it was assumed to be ISO-8859-1 for historical reasons.
If the password contains characters that cannot be represented in ISO-8859-1, they are silently replaced by `?`. This happens with passwords that contain Chinese, Cyrillic or Greek characters, for example: `αβ123` converts to `??123`.
An attacker can send a request with a digest `Authorization` header crafted with a password made of only `?` characters; the server would match any password of the same length that contains non-ISO-8859-1 characters.
Recent HTTP Digest [RFC-7616](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7616) supports a `charset` parameters that defaults to UTF-8 that allows for correct encoding/decoding of passwords. |

vp_vdpa: fix id_table array not null terminated error
Allocate one extra virtio_device_id as null terminator, otherwise
vdpa_mgmtdev_get_classes() may iterate multiple times and visit
undefined memory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cxl/pci: Skip to handle RAS errors if CXL.mem device is detached
The PCI AER model is an awkward fit for CXL error handling. While the
expectation is that a PCI device can escalate to link reset to recover
from an AER event, the same reset on CXL amounts to a surprise memory
hotplug of massive amounts of memory.
At present, the CXL error handler attempts some optimistic error
handling to unbind the device from the cxl_mem driver after reaping some
RAS register values. This results in a "hopeful" attempt to unplug the
memory, but there is no guarantee that will succeed.
A subsequent AER notification after the memdev unbind event can no
longer assume the registers are mapped. Check for memdev bind before
reaping status register values to avoid crashes of the form:

| Logto performs principal lookup without normalizing email and identifier strings, enabling principal collision and unauthorized account access via case- or Unicode-different identities. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: validate NTLMv2 response before updating session key
ksmbd_auth_ntlmv2() derives the NTLMv2 session key into
sess->sess_key before it verifies the NTLMv2 response.
ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() then continues into KEY_XCH even
when ksmbd_auth_ntlmv2() failed.
With SMB3 multichannel binding, the failed authentication operates on
an existing session and the session setup error path does not expire
binding sessions. A client can send a binding session setup with a
bad NT proof and KEY_XCH and still modify sess->sess_key before
STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE is returned.
Relevant path:
smb2_sess_setup()
-> conn->binding = true
-> ntlm_authenticate()
-> session_user()
-> ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob()
-> ksmbd_auth_ntlmv2()
-> calc_ntlmv2_hash()
-> hmac_md5_usingrawkey(..., sess->sess_key)
-> crypto_memneq() returns mismatch
-> KEY_XCH arc4_crypt(..., sess->sess_key, ...)
-> out_err without expiring the binding session
Derive the base session key into a local buffer and copy it to
sess->sess_key only after the proof matches. Return immediately on
authentication failure so KEY_XCH is only processed after successful
authentication. |
