| OpenSTAManager is an open source management software for technical assistance and invoicing. Prior to version 2.10.2, the oauth2.php file in OpenSTAManager is an unauthenticated endpoint ($skip_permissions = true). It loads a record from the zz_oauth2 table using the attacker-controlled GET parameter state, and during the OAuth2 configuration flow calls unserialize() on the access_token field without any class restriction. This issue has been patched in version 2.10.2. |

| Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel LevelDB component.
The Camel-LevelDB DefaultLevelDBSerializer class deserializes data read from the LevelDB aggregation repository using java.io.ObjectInputStream without applying any ObjectInputFilter or class-loading restrictions. An attacker who can write to the LevelDB database files used by a Camel application can inject a crafted serialized Java object that, when deserialized during normal aggregation repository operations, results in arbitrary code execution in the context of the application.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.10.0 before 4.10.8, from 4.14.0 before 4.14.5, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.18.0, which fixes the issue. For the 4.10.x LTS releases, users are recommended to upgrade to 4.10.9, while for 4.14.x LTS releases, users are recommended to upgrade to 4.14.5 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86/mmu: Only WARN in direct MMUs when overwriting shadow-present SPTE
Adjust KVM's sanity check against overwriting a shadow-present SPTE with a
another SPTE with a different target PFN to only apply to direct MMUs,
i.e. only to MMUs without shadowed gPTEs. While it's impossible for KVM
to overwrite a shadow-present SPTE in response to a guest write, writes
from outside the scope of KVM, e.g. from host userspace, aren't detected
by KVM's write tracking and so can break KVM's shadow paging rules.

| OpenTelemetry Java Instrumentation provides OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation and instrumentation libraries for Java. In versions prior to 2.26.1, the RMI instrumentation registered a custom endpoint that deserialized incoming data without applying serialization filters. On JDK version 16 and earlier, an attacker with network access to a JMX or RMI port on an instrumented JVM could exploit this to potentially achieve remote code execution. All three of the following conditions must be true to exploit this vulnerability: First, OpenTelemetry Java instrumentation is attached as a Java agent (`-javaagent`) on Java 16 or earlier. Second, JMX/RMI port has been explicitly configured via `-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port` and is network-reachable. Third, gadget-chain-compatible library is present on the classpath. This results in arbitrary remote code execution with the privileges of the user running the instrumented JVM. For JDK >= 17, no action is required, but upgrading is strongly encouraged. For JDK < 17, upgrade to version 2.26.1 or later. As a workaround, set the system property `-Dotel.instrumentation.rmi.enabled=false` to disable the RMI integration. |
| Metabase is an open source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. In Metabase Enterprise prior to versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4, authenticated admins on Metabase Enterprise Edition can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) and Arbitrary File Read via the `POST /api/ee/serialization/import` endpoint. A crafted serialization archive injects an `INIT` property into the H2 JDBC spec, which can execute arbitrary SQL during a database sync. We confirmed this was possible on Metabase Cloud. This only affects Metabase Enterprise. Metabase OSS lacks the affected codepaths. All versions of Metabase Enterprise that have serialization, which dates back to at least version 1.47, are affected. Metabase Enterprise versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4 patch the issue. As a workaround, disable the serialization import endpoint in their Metabase instance to prevent access to the vulnerable codepaths. |
| GRID::Machine versions through 0.127 for Perl allows arbitrary code execution via unsafe deserialization.
GRID::Machine provides Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) over SSH for Perl. The client connects to remote hosts to execute code on them. A compromised or malicious remote host can execute arbitrary code back on the client through unsafe deserialization in the RPC protocol.
read_operation() in lib/GRID/Machine/Message.pm deserialises values from the remote side using eval()

$arg is raw bytes from the protocol pipe. A compromised remote host can embed arbitrary perl in the Dumper-formatted response:

This executes on the client silently on every RPC call, as the return values remain correct.
This functionality is by design but the trust requirement for the remote host is not documented in the distribution. |
