CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix transaction abort on file creation due to name hash collision
If we attempt to create several files with names that result in the same
hash, we have to pack them in same dir item and that has a limit inherent
to the leaf size. However if we reach that limit, we trigger a transaction
abort and turns the filesystem into RO mode. This allows for a malicious
user to disrupt a system, without the need to have administration
privileges/capabilities.
Reproducer:
$ cat exploit-hash-collisions.sh
#!/bin/bash
DEV=/dev/sdi
MNT=/mnt/sdi
# Use smallest node size to make the test faster and require fewer file
# names that result in hash collision.
mkfs.btrfs -f --nodesize 4K $DEV
mount $DEV $MNT
# List of names that result in the same crc32c hash for btrfs.
declare -a names=(

| ZigBee protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service |
| Philips Hue Bridge Zigbee Stack Custom Command Handler Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Philips Hue Bridge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the user must initiate the device pairing process.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of custom Zigbee ZCL frames in the Model Info download functionality. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the size of data prior to copying it to a fixed-size heap buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the device. Was ZDI-CAN-28276. |
| NovumOS is a custom 32-bit operating system written in Zig and x86 Assembly. In versions prior to 0.24, Syscall 15 (MemoryMapRange) allows Ring 3 user-mode processes to map arbitrary virtual address ranges into their address space without validating against forbidden regions, including critical kernel structures such as the IDT, GDT, TSS, and page tables. A local attacker can exploit this to modify kernel interrupt handlers, resulting in privilege escalation from user mode to kernel context. This issue has been fixed in version 0.24. |
| NovumOS is a custom 32-bit operating system written in Zig and x86 Assembly. In versions prior to 0.24, Syscall 12 (JumpToUser) accepts an arbitrary entry point address from user-space registers without validation, allowing any Ring 3 user-mode process to jump to kernel addresses and execute arbitrary code in Ring 0 context, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue has been fixed in version 0.24. If developers are unable to immediately update, they should restrict syscall access by running the system in single-user mode without Ring 3, and disable user-mode processes by only running kernel shell with no user processes. This issue has been fixed in version 0.24. |
| The Ziggeo plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.1. The wp_ajax_ziggeo_ajax handler only verifies a nonce (check_ajax_referer) but performs no capability checks via current_user_can(). Furthermore, the nonce ('ziggeo_ajax_nonce') is exposed to all logged-in users on every page via the wp_head and admin_head hooks . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to invoke multiple administrative operations including: saving arbitrary translation strings (translations_panel_save_strings via update_option('ziggeo_translations')), creating/updating/deleting event templates (event_editor_save_template/update_template/remove_template via update_option('ziggeo_events')), modifying SDK application settings (sdk_applications operations), and managing notifications (notification_handler via update_option('ziggeo_notifications')). |
| Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in jazzigor price-calc price-calc allows Stored XSS.This issue affects price-calc: from n/a through <= 0.6.3. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in softdiscover Zigaform – Price Calculator & Cost Estimation Form Builder Lite zigaform-calculator-cost-estimation-form-builder-lite allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Zigaform – Price Calculator & Cost Estimation Form Builder Lite: from n/a through <= 7.4.2. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in softdiscover Zigaform zigaform-form-builder-lite allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Zigaform: from n/a through <= 7.4.2. |
| The admin module in MindDezign Photo Gallery 2.2 allows remote attackers to add administrative users and gain privileges via a modified username parameter in an edit account action to index.php. |
| SQL injection vulnerability in MindDezign Photo Gallery 2.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the username parameter in a login action to the admin module in index.php, a different vector than CVE-2008-6788. |
| SQL injection vulnerability in MindDezign Photo Gallery 2.2, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the id parameter in an info action to index.php. |
| The Zigaform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 7.6.5. This is due to the plugin exposing a public AJAX endpoint that retrieves form submission data without performing authorization checks to verify ownership or access rights. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive form submission data including personal information, payment details, and other private data via the rocket_front_payment_seesummary action by enumerating sequential form_r_id values. |
| A ZigBee coordinator, router, or end device may change their node ID when an unsolicited encrypted rejoin response is received, this change in node ID causes Denial of Service (DoS). To recover from this DoS, the network must be re-established |
| TinyOS versions up to and including 2.1.2 contain a global buffer overflow vulnerability in the printfUART formatted output implementation used within the ZigBee / IEEE 802.15.4 networking stack. The implementation formats output into a fixed-size global buffer and concatenates strings for %s format specifiers using strcat() without verifying remaining buffer capacity. When printfUART is invoked with a caller-controlled string longer than the available space, the unbounded sprintf/strcat sequence writes past the end of debugbuf, resulting in global memory corruption. This can cause denial of service, unintended behavior, or information disclosure via corrupted adjacent global state or UART output. |
| A replay attack vulnerability was discovered in a Zigbee smart home kit manufactured by Ksix (Zigbee Gateway Module = v1.0.3, Door Sensor = v1.0.7, Motion Sensor = v1.0.12), where the Zigbee anti-replay mechanism - based on the frame counter field - is improperly implemented. As a result, an attacker within wireless range can resend captured packets with a higher sequence number, which the devices incorrectly accept as legitimate messages. This allows spoofed commands to be injected without authentication, triggering false alerts and misleading the user through notifications in the mobile application used to monitor the network. |
| Due to improper input validation, a buffer overflow vulnerability is present in
Zigbee EZSP Host Applications. If the buffer overflows, stack corruption is possible. In certain
conditions, this could lead to arbitrary code execution. Access to a network key is required to exploit this vulnerability. |
| A Zigbee Radio Co-Processor (RCP), which is using SiLabs EmberZNet Zigbee stack, was unable to send messages to the host system (CPCd) due to heavy Zigbee traffic, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) attack, Only hard reset will bring the device to normal operation |
| After receiving a
malformed 802.15.4 MAC Data Request
the Zigbee Coordinator sends a ‘network leave’ request to Zigbee router resulting in the Zigbee Router getting stuck in a non-rejoinable state. If a suitable parent is not available, the end devices will be unable to rejoin. A manual recommissioning is required to recover the Zigbee Router. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Altenergy Power Control Software up to 20241108. This vulnerability affects the function get_status_zigbee of the file /index.php/display/status_zigbee. The manipulation of the argument date leads to sql injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
