CVSS v3.1 |
| An API design flaw in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit allows untrusted web content to unexpectedly perform IP connections, DNS lookups, and HTTP requests. Applications expect to use the
WebPage::send-request signal handler to approve or reject all network requests. However, certain types of HTTP requests bypass this signal handler. |
| A flaw was found in the Submariner project. Due to unnecessary role-based access control permissions, a privileged attacker can run a malicious container on a node that may allow them to steal service account tokens and further compromise other nodes and potentially the entire cluster. |
| A vulnerability was found in CRI-O, where it can be requested to take a checkpoint archive of a container and later be asked to restore it. When it does that restoration, it attempts to restore the mounts from the restore archive instead of the pod request. As a result, the validations run on the pod spec, verifying that the pod has access to the mounts it specifies are not applicable to a restored container. This flaw allows a malicious user to trick CRI-O into restoring a pod that doesn't have access to host mounts. The user needs access to the kubelet or cri-o socket to call the restore endpoint and trigger the restore. |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Openshift AI Service. The TrustyAI component is granting all service accounts and users on a cluster permissions to get, list, watch any pod in any namespace on the cluster.
TrustyAI is creating a role `trustyai-service-operator-lmeval-user-role` and a CRB `trustyai-service-operator-default-lmeval-user-rolebinding` which is being applied to `system:authenticated` making it so that every single user or service account can get a list of pods running in any namespace on the cluster
Additionally users can access all `persistentvolumeclaims` and `lmevaljobs` |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fscache: delete fscache_cookie_lru_timer when fscache exits to avoid UAF
The fscache_cookie_lru_timer is initialized when the fscache module
is inserted, but is not deleted when the fscache module is removed.
If timer_reduce() is called before removing the fscache module,
the fscache_cookie_lru_timer will be added to the timer list of
the current cpu. Afterwards, a use-after-free will be triggered
in the softIRQ after removing the fscache module, as follows:

Therefore delete fscache_cookie_lru_timer when removing the fscahe module. |
| A memory leak flaw was found in Golang in the RSA encrypting/decrypting code, which might lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability using attacker-controlled inputs. The memory leak happens in github.com/golang-fips/openssl/openssl/rsa.go#L113. The objects leaked are pkey and ctx. That function uses named return parameters to free pkey and ctx if there is an error initializing the context or setting the different properties. All return statements related to error cases follow the "return nil, nil, fail(...)" pattern, meaning that pkey and ctx will be nil inside the deferred function that should free them. |
| Apache Tomcat 4.1.0 through 4.1.39, 5.5.0 through 5.5.27, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.18 permits web applications to replace an XML parser used for other web applications, which allows local users to read or modify the (1) web.xml, (2) context.xml, or (3) tld files of arbitrary web applications via a crafted application that is loaded earlier than the target application. |
| The clip_mkip function in net/atm/clip.c of the ATM subsystem in Linux kernel allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via unknown vectors that cause the ATM subsystem to access the memory of socket buffers after they are freed (freed pointer dereference). |
| Buffer overflow in Adobe Reader 9.0 and earlier, and Acrobat 9.0 and earlier, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted PDF document, related to a non-JavaScript function call and possibly an embedded JBIG2 image stream, as exploited in the wild in February 2009 by Trojan.Pidief.E. |
| hidd in BlueZ (bluez-utils) before 2.25 allows remote attackers to obtain control of the (1) Mouse and (2) Keyboard Human Interface Device (HID) via a certain configuration of two HID (PSM) endpoints, operating as a server, aka HidAttack. |
| Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the JavaScript engine in Mozilla Firefox before 1.5.0.8, Thunderbird before 1.5.0.8, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.6 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors that trigger memory corruption. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the WBXML dissector in Wireshark (formerly Ethereal) 0.10.11 through 0.99.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via certain vectors that trigger a null dereference. |
| The Network Security Services (NSS) library before 3.12.3, as used in Firefox; GnuTLS before 2.6.4 and 2.7.4; OpenSSL 0.9.8 through 0.9.8k; and other products support MD2 with X.509 certificates, which might allow remote attackers to spoof certificates by using MD2 design flaws to generate a hash collision in less than brute-force time. NOTE: the scope of this issue is currently limited because the amount of computation required is still large. |
| The ASN1_STRING_print_ex function in OpenSSL before 0.9.8k allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid memory access and application crash) via vectors that trigger printing of a (1) BMPString or (2) UniversalString with an invalid encoded length. |
| Off-by-one error in the DTLS implementation in OpenSSL 0.9.8 before 0.9.8f allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors. |
| ISC BIND 9.0.x, 9.1.x, 9.2.0 up to 9.2.7, 9.3.0 up to 9.3.3, 9.4.0a1 up to 9.4.0a6, 9.4.0b1 up to 9.4.0b4, 9.4.0rc1, and 9.5.0a1 (Bind Forum only) allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (exit) via a type * (ANY) DNS query response that contains multiple RRsets, which triggers an assertion error, aka the "DNSSEC Validation" vulnerability. |
| The (1) Password Manager in Mozilla Firefox 2.0, and 1.5.0.8 and earlier; and the (2) Passcard Manager in Netscape 8.1.2 and possibly other versions, do not properly verify that an ACTION URL in a FORM element containing a password INPUT element matches the web site for which the user stored a password, which allows remote attackers to obtain passwords via a password INPUT element on a different web page located on the web site intended for this password. |
| Buffer overflow in the gdImageStringFTEx function in gdft.c in GD Graphics Library 2.0.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted string with a JIS encoded font. |
| The dev_queue_xmit function in Linux kernel 2.6 can fail before calling the local_bh_disable function, which could lead to data corruption and "node lockups." NOTE: it is not clear whether this issue is exploitable. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in the ole_info_read_metabat function in Gnome Structured File library (libgsf) 1.14.0, and other versions before 1.14.2, allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a large num_metabat value in an OLE document, which causes the ole_init_info function to allocate insufficient memory. |
