CVE-2026-97979 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: add missing xa_destroy for sched_node_ids Commit 16dfa49406bc ("ice: Introduce new parameters in ice_sched_node") added a sched_node_ids xarray to the port info structure, but never called xa_destroy on it. Since xarrays can allocate internal memory, this can result in a memory leak even if every element in the xarray has been removed. The xarray is currently embedded in the port_info structure. This appears to have been done because its use is within functions that take the port_info as a primary argument. However, this complicates managing the lifecycle of the field. The port_info structure is allocated in ice_init_hw() using devm, and it is not released until the devm cleanup when the driver is unloaded. The ice_init_hw() function is called in many places, including devlink reload, and possibly during DDP load after updating the Tx scheduler layout. Adding a call of xa_destroy to the ice_deinit_hw() causes Sashiko to raise multiple concerns due to potential ordering issues and possible ways that port_info could be a dangling reference. To handle this, move the sched_node_ids out of port_info and into the hw structure. All users of the array already have a pointer to hw anyways, and there is only one sched_node_ids per adapter. While here, remove the overly verbose comment explaining the nature of the sched_node_ids xarray. Add the missing xa_destroy to the cleanup path and to ice_deinit_hw(), ensuring that we properly release the xarray memory. This was caught by Sashiko during development of unrelated code.
CVE-2026-97980 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/debug: Fix NULL pointer dereference in debug_set_level() Commit a2cec6863709 ("s390/debug: Add s390dbf kernel parameter") incorrectly removed a null-id check from debug_set_level(), introducing a possible NULL pointer dereference for debug-API users that put debug_register() results unchecked into debug_set_level(). Fix this by moving the check from the internal _debug_set_level() variant back to the external debug_set_level() wrapper.
CVE-2026-98005 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: delimit inode_share cache key components Previously, inode_share keys were encoded as follows: fingerprint || domain_id It would be better to have a separator between the fingerprint and domain ID so that the fingerprint won't be parsed as part of a domain ID. Change the key encoding as follows: domain_id || '\0' || fingerprint Since domain_id is a NUL-terminated string, this makes the in-memory key indices unambiguous.
CVE-2026-98013 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: fq_pie: clamp quantum in change path fq_pie_change() accepts any quantum value from userspace, including 1. With a crafted size table qdisc_pkt_len reaches ~2 GiB, so quantum=1 makes the deficit-refill loop spin ~2^31 times under the qdisc lock (a soft lockup / denial of service). Add max(256U, ...) matching fq_codel_change(). Conditions to recreate the bug: CONFIG_NET_SCH_FQ_PIE=y. CVE-2026-98014 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: E-Switch, prevent mc_list repopulation during vport disable In mlx5_esw_vport_disable(), move esw_apply_vport_rx_mode() ahead of esw_vport_change_handle_locked() so vport->allmulti_rule is NULL before the change handler observes it. During FW-fatal recovery the disable runs while dev->state == INTERNAL_ERROR. The promisc query inside esw_update_vport_rx_mode() fails and returns early, leaving vport->allmulti_rule intact, so esw_update_vport_mc_promisc() runs and adds MLX5_ACTION_ADD entries to vport->mc_list whose flow rules are then installed in the FDB by esw_add_mc_addr(). esw_destroy_legacy_table() tears down the FDB with those refs still held, corrupting the sub-tree and leaving dangling flow_rule pointers in vport->mc_list. Two-stage failure on `echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/<bdf>/reset`: refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. tree_put_node+0xef/0x110 [mlx5_core] clean_tree+0x44/0xd0 [mlx5_core] (x5) mlx5_fs_core_cleanup+0x57/0x1c0 [mlx5_core] mlx5_unload+0x65/0xd0 [mlx5_core] ... mlx5_health_try_recover BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 0000000003000055 down_write+0x1c/0x60 mlx5_del_flow_rules+0x33/0x1f0 [mlx5_core] esw_del_mc_addr+0x7b/0x170 [mlx5_core] esw_apply_vport_addr_list+0x56/0xf0 [mlx5_core] esw_vport_change_handle_locked+0x28b/0x310 [mlx5_core] mlx5_esw_vport_enable+0x270/0x4a0 [mlx5_core] ... mlx5_load ... mlx5_health_try_recover esw_apply_vport_rx_mode(false, false) clears vport->allmulti_rule via its local state machine even when the FW del fails. With the rule NULL the !IS_ERR_OR_NULL(allmulti_rule) gate in the change handler closes, no rules are installed during disable, and the reload starts with a clean mc_list.
CVE-2026-77252 2 Mcp-atlassian, Sooperset 2 Mcp Atlassian, Mcp-atlassian 2026-09-25 6.5 Medium
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, caller-supplied projects_filter and spaces_filter arguments can replace administrator-configured allowlists, and caller-provided project or space clauses can suppress the configured restriction. A caller can search projects or spaces outside the intended boundary when the configured Atlassian credentials can access them. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through JIRA_PROJECTS_FILTER, CONFLUENCE_SPACES_FILTER, projects_filter, spaces_filter, SearchMixin.search_issues, and SearchMixin.search, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.
CVE-2026-77261 2 Mcp-atlassian, Sooperset 2 Mcp Atlassian, Mcp-atlassian 2026-09-25 7.1 High
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, _make_ssrf_safe_hook is omitted from JiraFetcher and ConfluenceFetcher sessions created through the basic-auth and oauth_pat branches. If an attacker-controlled or compromised configured Atlassian instance returns a redirect to an internal address, those sessions can follow the redirect without revalidating its destination. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.
CVE-2026-98087 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt,dl: Skip migrate-disabled tasks when picking a push candidate A migrate_disable()'d RT task cannot be moved to another CPU, but the scheduler still keeps such a task on that CPU's pushable list (rq->rt.pushable_tasks) and still marks the runqueue RT-overloaded (rq->rt.overloaded = 1). So the RT balancer keeps treating this CPU as having a task to move away, and keeps trying to move the task, but the push can never succeed. When the head is pinned, push_rt_task() does not give up either. It falls back to pushing rq->curr instead, using the per-CPU stopper, as added by commit a7c81556ec4d ("sched: Fix migrate_disable() vs rt/dl balancing"). The CPU spends tens of milliseconds in this retry loop. The core is isolated for real-time work, but during the loop nearly half of its time is consumed by pushes that cannot succeed. An ftrace capture of the affected CPU, with sched_switch enabled and commit 94894c9c477e ("sched/rt: Skip currently executing CPU in rto_next_cpu()") applied, shows where the CPU time went. Two SCHED_FIFO tasks at equal priority shared the CPU, taskA migrate_disable()'d and queued, taskB as rq->curr. In one 89 ms window, taskB got only 52 ms of CPU. The other 37 ms went to the stopper thread. The scheduler kept trying to push taskA, the pinned head of the pushable list, fell back to pushing taskB instead, and woke the stopper 5204 times. Every one of those pushes failed and no task was moved. taskA stayed runnable and queued the whole time, and never ran. Pushing taskB fails on a re-check. find_lock_lowest_rq() drops the rq lock to take the target rq lock, then checks again with "task != pick_next_pushable_task(rq)". The task being pushed is taskB, but the pick returns taskA, the head of the pushable list. taskB is rq->curr, and set_next_task_rt() removes the running task from that list, so taskB can never be the head. The check expects a candidate taken from the pushable list, but the fallback pushes rq->curr, which is never on that list. So the check fails every time. .--> push-IPI arrives | | | v | pushable head = taskA -> pinned, cannot be pushed | | | v | so push taskB instead -> wake migration/N, a stop-class | | thread, so it preempts taskB | v | re-check compares taskB against the pushable head, | which is still taskA -> give up | | | v | nothing moved, taskA still queued, rq still overloaded | | '----------' repeats every ~17 us, 5204 times, for 89 ms The loop cannot stop itself. Every round leaves the runqueue exactly as it was, so the next push-IPI does the same thing. In the capture it ended only when taskB went to sleep on its own. taskA was then picked locally and left the pushable list. CPU time per task in the window, from sched_switch: taskB 51.95 ms real work migration/N 37.18 ms nothing moved taskA 0.00 ms queued the whole time, never picked idle 0.01 ms Counts over the same window: 7667 push-IPIs handled on this CPU 17481 pick_next_pushable_task() returned taskA, still pinned 5204 find_lock_lowest_rq() gave up on the re-check 1 push that actually completed 0 migrations of taskA The CPU times and the window length come from the standard sched_switch tracepoint. The counts needed tracepoints added inside the RT balancer for this investigation. The self-IPI path is closed by the rto_next_cpu() fix above, and that part works. But the runqueue is still marked overloaded, because the pinned task is still advertised as pushable. Other CPUs now send the push-IPIs during their own RT balancing, and the same loop runs again. Closing the self-IPI path did not stop a pinn ---truncated---
CVE-2026-100076 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix xmit_frame/xmit_buf leaks on mgnt-frame error paths issue_beacon(), issue_probersp() and issue_asocrsp() obtain a management xmit_frame together with its xmit_buf from the driver's fixed-size management-TX pools via alloc_mgtxmitframe(). On the normal path the frame is handed to dump_mgntframe(), which transfers ownership and eventually returns both objects to their pools (the frame and, for beacons, the buf in rtl8723bs_mgnt_xmit(); other bufs via the pending-xmitbuf/TX-completion path). Several error/edge paths return early after a successful alloc_mgtxmitframe() but before dump_mgntframe(), so ownership is never transferred and neither object is freed: - issue_beacon(): beacon larger than 512 bytes - issue_probersp(): cur_network->ie_length > MAX_IE_SZ - issue_probersp(): kzalloc() of the SSID scratch buffer fails - issue_asocrsp(): pkt_type is neither ASSOCRSP nor REASSOCRSP Because alloc_mgtxmitframe() removes the frame and buf from their free lists (list_del_init) without placing them on any pending list, an orphaned pair is on no list and referenced by nobody, so it is only reclaimed at driver teardown. Repeated hits progressively exhaust the management-TX pools until alloc_mgtxmitframe() returns NULL and the interface can no longer send beacons or probe/assoc responses. Free the frame and buffer on these paths, matching the existing correct error handling in issue_assocreq().
CVE-2026-98160 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix mismatched free of HalData in rtw_sdio_if1_init() padapter->HalData is allocated via vzalloc(), but incorrectly freed using kfree() in the rtw_sdio_if1_init() error path. Using kfree() to release this vmalloc-backed buffer can lead to memory corruption. Use rtw_hal_data_deinit() to pair the free correctly and free HalData with vfree(). The bug was first flagged by an experimental static analysis tool we are developing for kernel memory-management bugs. Manual inspection confirms that the issue is still present in current mainline. An x86_64 allyesconfig build showed no new warnings. As we do not have suitable RTL8723BS SDIO hardware to test with, no runtime testing was able to be performed.
CVE-2026-98161 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvdimm: pmem: keep PREFLUSH before data writes pmem_submit_bio() records a REQ_PREFLUSH error, but continues to copy the bio data and can later overwrite the error with a successful REQ_FUA flush. That lets data writes run after a failed preflush and can complete the bio successfully despite the failed ordering barrier. Run the REQ_PREFLUSH flush synchronously before touching the bio data and complete the bio with the flush error if it fails. Keep asynchronous flush chaining for REQ_FUA. At that point, data copy has completed and the parent bio can wait for the chained flush bio.
CVE-2026-32157 1 Microsoft 33 Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop Client, Windows 10 1607 and 30 more 2026-09-25 8.8 High
Use after free in Remote Desktop Client allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-97636 1 Apache 1 Airflow Hashicorp Provider 2026-09-25 6.5 Medium
Apache Airflow HashiCorp provider: the HashiCorp Vault secrets backend's team-scope guard can be bypassed with a user-controlled key. In a multi-team deployment, a Dag author scoped to one team can supply a Variable key containing a path separator that causes the backend to resolve a secret belonging to a different team, because after the team-scoped lookup misses the backend falls back to a team-agnostic path concatenated from the unvalidated key. The Execution API Variables route accepts a path-shaped key, so this is reachable from ordinary Dag code. Affects multi-team deployments using the HashiCorp Vault secrets backend. Single-team deployments are not affected, as there is no cross-team boundary to cross. This is the same class as CVE-2026-86465, CVE-2026-68870, CVE-2026-68871 and CVE-2026-68872 in the Akeyless, Azure Key Vault, Yandex Lockbox and Amazon secrets backends. Users of apache-airflow-providers-hashicorp are recommended to upgrade to version 4.8.0 or later, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-97230 2026-09-25 9.8 Critical
IO::Socket::SSL::SelfCertificate versions 1.00 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL. The generate_certificate runs a Python script saved as a certificate file. The pyhton script attempts to retrieve code from a hardcoded http URL that is obfuscated with base64 encoding and run the response body directly. The impact is that arbitrary code can be invoked as the user, without a dropped script being saved on the affected host. The releases have no test scripts nor build hooks. The intention may have been to trigger the payload after installation. The dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem. This is similar to CVE-2026-95831 for the module Crypt::SelfCertificate. The SHA-256 digests of the files are ba24ee8ec3b7f47f65bed62e16fb413ace50653cf44bd8ea90914390922831e0 IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00.tar.gz 821d38830e5eb8607738421c25ac25f59fff02a6ab67daa32fbd020429454dac IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00/lib/IO/Socket/SSL/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem d483cb7b23b7271cb11cf242bff4a2e1c02df0b9525eb0429abeea8961c399d5 IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00-upload.tar.gz
CVE-2026-88421 2026-09-25 7.5 High
Incorrect access control in the BlogPage.get_entries() component of APSL puput v1.2.1 through v2.2.0 allows unauthenticated attackers to view restricted blog entries via the blog index, the tag, category, author and date archives, the sidebar widgets, or the RSS feed.
CVE-2026-88386 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
libsndfile 1.2.2 contains a misaligned memory access issue in psf_binheader_readf() while parsing WAV fmt chunks. A specially crafted WAV file can cause the function to cast an unaligned destination address to unsigned int * and perform a 4-byte store. This results in undefined behavior leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-88362 2026-09-25 7.5 High
MuJS e892c9fdb contains an incorrect numeric conversion vulnerability in jsR_isindex() in jsrun.c. A specially crafted JavaScript input containing an excessively large numeric array index can cause an out-of-range floating-point value to be converted to an integer without proper range validation. This results in undefined behavior and can cause process termination, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-88359 2026-09-25 6.5 Medium
libfyaml 0.9.6 contains a stack exhaustion vulnerability in fy_atom_iter_format(). When processing a specially crafted YAML document containing a very large literal or folded block scalar, the function repeatedly grows an internal buffer using alloca() inside a loop. The allocated stack memory is not released until the function returns, causing cumulative stack growth that can exceed the process stack limit and result in SIGSEGV and denial of service.
CVE-2026-85491 2026-09-25 8.8 High
Catalyst::Seal versions before 0.03 for Perl allow one request to disable a path or route a later one past an authorization check via a dispatch memo keyed on the request path alone. Catalyst::Seal replaces the dispatcher's prepare_action with a version that memoises how a path resolved: which dispatch type matched, at which level, and what was left over as arguments. The key is the request path and nothing else. Action roles that match on the method, content type, scheme or query make that resolution depend on state the key does not carry, so the memo answers for a request it was not built from. A path that resolves to no action is memoised as well, and replaying that entry returns without consulting any dispatch type, so no action is set and the request fails. A GET of a path whose action is declared POST-only therefore disables that path for every later request, the correct POST included. An entry that did resolve replays the level the earlier descent reached. Where a POST-only action sits below a shallower action on the same path, a GET memoises the shallow route, and a later POST is dispatched there with an auto() guarding the deeper controller never running. The memo is cleared only when an action is registered, which happens at setup, so an entry lasts for the life of the process, and its cap of 2048 entries bounds how many paths one caller can disable. In the configuration measured, the misroute lands on the less privileged action, so it is an authorization check not running rather than a privilege gain.
CVE-2026-78902 2026-09-25 6.1 Medium
Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in Netgate pfSense 26.03.1-RELEASE allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code via the pfBlockerNG package
