| Vendure is an open-source headless commerce platform. Prior to 3.6.5, the public Shop GraphQL API allows an unauthenticated caller to supply a catastrophically backtracking pattern through StringOperators.regex. packages/core/src/service/helpers/list-query-builder/parse-filter-params.ts passes the raw pattern to the REGEXP implementation registered by packages/core/src/service/helpers/list-query-builder/list-query-builder.ts, and better-sqlite3 and sqljs evaluate it synchronously in the Node.js event loop. ShopProductsResolver.products is publicly reachable, so one nested-quantifier pattern can block request processing and make the storefront and admin API unavailable, while repeated requests can sustain denial of service. PostgreSQL and MySQL or MariaDB deployments do not execute this regular expression in the Node.js event loop. This issue is fixed in version 3.6.5. |
| libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 8.0.0 until 12.0.24, @libp2p/peer-store in packages/peer-store/src/index.ts uses consumePeerRecord to verify a RecordEnvelope signature but does not require PeerRecord.peerId in the signed payload to equal the signer peer ID derived by RecordEnvelope.openAndCertify. The expectedPeer option checks only the envelope signer, and the gossipsub Peer Exchange path can provide the attacker's own peer ID as expectedPeer. An attacker can therefore sign a record with the attacker's key, place a victim peer ID and attacker-controlled multiaddrs in the payload, and have certified addresses stored for the victim. The poisoned addresses can cause address-book corruption, dial redirection or failure, routing manipulation, and reachability disruption, although the connection upgrade still verifies remote peer identity and prevents a complete identity takeover. The issue is fixed in version 12.0.24. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, automatic response decompression on the HTTP/1.1 path uses ChannelManager.newHttpContentDecompressor() to install Http1ContentDecompressor without a cumulative output-size limit. A hostile or compromised server, or an attacker who can alter a response in transit, can send a small gzip, deflate, or snappy response that expands across chunks until the client exhausts its heap and raises OutOfMemoryError; brotli and zstd are also affected when their optional codecs are present. In versions 3.0.8 through 3.0.10, the HTTP/2 decompressor is also unbounded, so switching protocols does not mitigate the issue on those releases. A limit applied to each decode call is insufficient because the response can be delivered as many small chunks, so the fixed implementation tracks total decompressed bytes for the whole response. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12. |
| Elixir protobuf is a pure Elixir implementation of Google Protobuf. From 0.8.0 until 0.16.1, services that decode attacker-controlled protobuf bytes with Protobuf.Decoder can be taken offline when the schema contains a self-referential or cyclic message type. In lib/protobuf/decoder.ex, Protobuf.Decoder.value_for_field/3 handles an embedded?: true field by recursively entering the decode / build_message / handle_value / value_for_field call chain without enforcing a nesting-depth limit. Deeply nested embedded fields retain non-tail recursive frames, allowing a comparatively small request to consume substantial CPU and memory, pin a BEAM scheduler, and exhaust the node. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.1. |
| Faust.js is a headless WordPress toolkit. Prior to 1.8.11, the FaustWP WordPress plugin authenticates only the ciphertext in its token envelope and excludes the 16-byte initialization vector from the HMAC in WPE\FaustWP\Auth\encrypt() and WPE\FaustWP\Auth\decrypt() in plugins/faustwp/includes/auth/functions.php. A logged-in non-administrator who obtains an authorization code from GET /generate can modify the unauthenticated initialization vector so that CBC decryption changes the token type and user identifier while the HMAC remains valid. This can produce an access token for an Administrator and permit full WordPress REST API access, administrator-account creation, plugin installation, and arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in repository version 1.8.11. |
| ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers. Prior to version 26.07, an authenticated Technician or higher with access to at least one client invoice can inject SQL through the frequency parameter handled by agent/post/recurring_invoice.php. The handler passes recurring_invoice_frequency through sanitizeInput but interpolates it unquoted into DATE_ADD, allowing SQL syntax to escape the interval expression, assign additional INSERT columns, store subquery results in recurring_invoice_note, and expose those results through agent/recurring_invoice.php. The persisted recurring_invoice_frequency can execute again when Force Recurring uses it in a later UPDATE, allowing another legitimate user to trigger the second-order injection. This can expose password hashes, SMTP credentials, user records, and database metadata, modify database fields, and enable administrative takeover after credential cracking. This issue is fixed in version 26.07. |
| ITFlow provides an IT documentation, ticketing and accounting system for small managed service providers. Prior to version 26.07, an authenticated user with module_support write permission and access to a credential record can perform time-based blind SQL injection through the expires parameter of the share_generate_link handler in agent/ajax.php. sanitizeInput applies string-context escaping, but expires is inserted unquoted into the item_expire_at MySQL INTERVAL expression, allowing a crafted expression and interval unit to execute conditional database queries whose results are inferred from response delays. This can expose password hashes, SMTP credentials, API keys, encrypted vault data, and database metadata and support administrative takeover after credential cracking. This issue is fixed in version 26.07. |

Attackers can supply malicious source objects in merge operations to inject attacker-controlled properties into the returned object's prototype, causing applications to inherit unintended values when accessing properties without own-property checks. |
