CVSS v3.1 |
An issue in dc2niix before v.1.0.20240202 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the generated file name is not properly escaped and injected into a system call when certain types of compression are used.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in uYanki board-stm32f103rc-berial up to 84daed541609cb7b46854cc6672a275d1007e295. This vulnerability affects the function heartrate1_i2c_hal_write of the file 7.Example/hal/i2c/max30100/Manual/demo2/2/heartrate1_hal.c. The manipulation of the argument num leads to stack-based buffer overflow. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available.
A vulnerability was found in H3C GR-5400AX V100R009L50 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function UpdateWanparamsMulti/UpdateIpv6params of the file /routing/goform/aspForm. The manipulation of the argument param leads to buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor confirms the existence of this issue. Because they assess the risk as low, they do not have immediate plans for remediation.
A vulnerability was found in H3C GR-3000AX V100R007L50. It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function UpdateWanParamsMulti/UpdateIpv6Params of the file /routing/goform/aspForm. The manipulation of the argument param leads to buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor confirms the existence of this issue. Because they assess the risk as low, they do not have immediate plans for remediation.
Use of unmaintained third party components for some Intel(R) Processor Identification Utility before version 8.0.43 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
A weakness has been identified in OGRECave Ogre up to 14.4.1. Impacted is the function STBIImageCodec::encode of the file /ogre/PlugIns/STBICodec/src/OgreSTBICodec.cpp. This manipulation causes mismatched memory management routines. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited.
A vulnerability has been found in vstakhov libucl up to 0.9.2. Affected by this vulnerability is the function ucl_include_common of the file /src/ucl_util.c. Such manipulation leads to heap-based buffer overflow. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A vulnerability was determined in axboe fio up to 3.41. This impacts the function __parse_jobs_ini of the file init.c. Executing manipulation can lead to use after free. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized.
A vulnerability was found in D-Link DIR-513 up to 20190831. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function formSetWanDhcpplus of the file /goform/formSetWanDhcpplus. The manipulation of the argument curTime leads to buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
Xibo is an Open Source Digital Signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. In affected versions some request headers are not correctly sanitised when stored in the session and display tables. These headers can be used to inject a malicious script into the session page to exfiltrate session IDs and User Agents. These session IDs / User Agents can subsequently be used to hijack active sessions. A malicious script can be injected into the display grid to exfiltrate information related to displays. Users should upgrade to version 3.3.10 or 4.0.9 which fix this issue. Customers who host their CMS with the Xibo Signage service have already received an upgrade or patch to resolve this issue regardless of the CMS version that they are running. Upgrading to a fixed version is necessary to remediate. Patches are available for earlier versions of Xibo CMS that are out of security support: 2.3 patch ebeccd000b51f00b9a25f56a2f252d6812ebf850.diff. 1.8 patch a81044e6ccdd92cc967e34c125bd8162432e51bc.diff. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
IBM MQ Operator (SC2 v3.2.0–3.8.1, LTS v2.0.0–2.0.29) and IBM‑supplied MQ Advanced container images (across affected SC2, CD, and LTS 9.3.x–9.4.x releases) contain a vulnerability where log messages are not properly neutralized before being written to log files. This flaw could allow an unauthorized user to inject malicious data into MQ log entries, potentially leading to misleading logs, log manipulation, or downstream log‑processing issues.
A vulnerability in the BluStar component of Mitel InAttend 2.6 SP4 through 2.7 and CMG 8.5 SP4 through 8.6 could allow access to sensitive information, changes to the system configuration, or execution of arbitrary commands within the context of the system.
Improper isolation of shared resources on a system on a chip by a malicious local attacker with high privileges could potentially lead to a partial loss of integrity.
Buffer overflow vulnerability in Immunity Debugger affecting version 1.85, its exploitation could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code, due to the lack of proper boundary checking.
A weakness has been identified in H3C Magic B1 up to 100R004. The affected element is the function sub_44de0 of the file /goform/aspForm. This manipulation of the argument param causes buffer overflow. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A HTML injection vulnerability exists in Perfex CRM v3.3.1. The application fails to sanitize user input in the "Bill To" address field within the estimate module. As a result, arbitrary HTML can be injected and rendered unescaped in client-facing documents.
An issue in htop-dev htop v.2.20 allows a local attacker to cause an out-of-bounds access in the Header_populateFromSettings function.
Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability exists in JavaTM Platform Ver.12.89 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, the product may be affected by some known TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 vulnerabilities. As for the specific products/models/versions of MFPs and printers that contain JavaTM Platform, see the information provided by the vendor.
VMware Aria Operations contains an information disclosure vulnerability. A malicious actor with non-administrative privileges in Aria Operations may exploit this vulnerability to disclose credentials of other users of Aria Operations.
shadow-utils (aka shadow) 4.4 through 4.17.0 establishes a default /etc/subuid behavior (e.g., uid 100000 through 165535 for the first user account) that can realistically conflict with the uids of users defined on locally administered networks, potentially leading to account takeover, e.g., by leveraging newuidmap for access to an NFS home directory (or same-host resources in the case of remote logins by these local network users). NOTE: it may also be argued that system administrators should not have assigned uids, within local networks, that are within the range that can occur in /etc/subuid.
