CVE-2025-53769 1 Microsoft 1 Windows Security App 2025-11-10 5.5 Medium
External control of file name or path in Windows Security App allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing locally.
CVE-2024-2905 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus 2025-11-06 6.2 Medium
A security vulnerability has been discovered within rpm-ostree, pertaining to the /etc/shadow file in default builds having the world-readable bit enabled. This issue arises from the default permissions being set at a higher level than recommended, potentially exposing sensitive authentication data to unauthorized access.
CVE-2025-34135 1 Nagios 2 Nagios Xi, Xi 2025-11-06 4.4 Medium
Nagios XI versions prior to 2024R1.4.2 configure some systemd unit files with permission sets that were too permissive. In particular, the nagios.service unit had executable permissions that were not required. Overly permissive permissions on service unit files can broaden local attack surface by enabling unintended execution behaviors or facilitating abuse of service operations when combined with other weaknesses.
CVE-2025-34287 1 Nagios 2 Nagios Xi, Xi 2025-11-06 7.8 High
Nagios XI versions prior to 2024R2 contain an improperly owned script, process_perfdata.pl, which is executed periodically as the nagios user but owned by www-data. Because the file was writable by www-data, an attacker with web server privileges could modify its contents, leading to arbitrary code execution as the nagios user when the script is next run. This improper ownership and permission configuration enables local privilege escalation.
CVE-2019-15752 3 Apache, Docker, Microsoft 3 Geode, Docker, Windows 2025-11-06 7.8 High
Docker Desktop Community Edition before 2.1.0.1 allows local users to gain privileges by placing a Trojan horse docker-credential-wincred.exe file in %PROGRAMDATA%\DockerDesktop\version-bin\ as a low-privilege user, and then waiting for an admin or service user to authenticate with Docker, restart Docker, or run 'docker login' to force the command.
CVE-2024-57520 1 Sangoma 1 Asterisk 2025-11-06 9.8 Critical
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in asterisk v22 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the action_createconfig function. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the impact is limited to creating empty files outside of the Asterisk product directory (aka directory traversal) and the attack can only be performed by a privileged user who has the ability to manage the configuration.
CVE-2025-59185 1 Microsoft 15 Windows 10 1507, Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809 and 12 more 2025-11-05 6.5 Medium
External control of file name or path in Windows Core Shell allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.
CVE-2020-36868 1 Nagios 2 Nagios Xi, Xi 2025-11-05 7.8 High
Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.3 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in the getprofile.sh helper script. The script performed profile retrieval and initialization routines using insecure file/command handling and insufficient validation of attacker-controlled inputs, and in some deployments executed with elevated privileges. A local attacker with low-level access could exploit these weaknesses to cause the script to execute arbitrary commands or modify privileged files, resulting in privilege escalation.
CVE-2025-4674 1 Gotoolchain 1 Cmd/go 2025-11-04 8.6 High
The go command may execute unexpected commands when operating in untrusted VCS repositories. This occurs when possibly dangerous VCS configuration is present in repositories. This can happen when a repository was fetched via one VCS (e.g. Git), but contains metadata for another VCS (e.g. Mercurial). Modules which are retrieved using the go command line, i.e. via "go get", are not affected.
CVE-2025-48385 1 Git 1 Git 2025-11-04 8.3 High
Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. When cloning a repository Git knows to optionally fetch a bundle advertised by the remote server, which allows the server-side to offload parts of the clone to a CDN. The Git client does not perform sufficient validation of the advertised bundles, which allows the remote side to perform protocol injection. This protocol injection can cause the client to write the fetched bundle to a location controlled by the adversary. The fetched content is fully controlled by the server, which can in the worst case lead to arbitrary code execution. The use of bundle URIs is not enabled by default and can be controlled by the bundle.heuristic config option. Some cases of the vulnerability require that the adversary is in control of where a repository will be cloned to. This either requires social engineering or a recursive clone with submodules. These cases can thus be avoided by disabling recursive clones. This vulnerability is fixed in v2.43.7, v2.44.4, v2.45.4, v2.46.4, v2.47.3, v2.48.2, v2.49.1, and v2.50.1.
CVE-2025-27446 1 Apache 1 Apisix 2025-11-04 7.8 High
Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Apache APISIX(java-plugin-runner). Local listening file permissions in APISIX plugin runner allow a local attacker to elevate privileges. This issue affects Apache APISIX(java-plugin-runner): from 0.2.0 through 0.5.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.6.0 or higher, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2023-42924 1 Apple 1 Macos 2025-11-04 5.5 Medium
A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.2, macOS Ventura 13.6.3. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
CVE-2023-40194 1 Foxitsoftware 1 Foxit Reader 2025-11-04 8.8 High
An arbitrary file creation vulnerability exists in the Javascript exportDataObject API of Foxit Reader 12.1.3.15356 due to mistreatment of whitespace characters. A specially crafted malicious file can create files at arbitrary locations, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially crafted, malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
CVE-2023-39542 1 Foxitsoftware 1 Foxit Reader 2025-11-04 8.8 High
A code execution vulnerability exists in the Javascript saveAs API of Foxit Reader 12.1.3.15356. A specially crafted malformed file can create arbitrary files, which can lead to remote code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially crafted, malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
CVE-2023-38546 2 Haxx, Redhat 6 Libcurl, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 3 more 2025-11-04 3.7 Low
This flaw allows an attacker to insert cookies at will into a running program using libcurl, if the specific series of conditions are met. libcurl performs transfers. In its API, an application creates "easy handles" that are the individual handles for single transfers. libcurl provides a function call that duplicates en easy handle called [curl_easy_duphandle](https://curl.se/libcurl/c/curl_easy_duphandle.html). If a transfer has cookies enabled when the handle is duplicated, the cookie-enable state is also cloned - but without cloning the actual cookies. If the source handle did not read any cookies from a specific file on disk, the cloned version of the handle would instead store the file name as `none` (using the four ASCII letters, no quotes). Subsequent use of the cloned handle that does not explicitly set a source to load cookies from would then inadvertently load cookies from a file named `none` - if such a file exists and is readable in the current directory of the program using libcurl. And if using the correct file format of course.
CVE-2023-35985 1 Foxitsoftware 1 Foxit Reader 2025-11-04 8.8 High
An arbitrary file creation vulnerability exists in the Javascript exportDataObject API of Foxit Reader 12.1.3.15356 due to a failure to properly validate a dangerous extension. A specially crafted malicious file can create files at arbitrary locations, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially-crafted malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
