| An issue was discovered in OpenStack ironic-python-agent 1.0.0 through 11.5.0. Ironic Python Agent (IPA) sometimes executes grub-install from within a chroot of the deployed partition image, leading to code execution in the case of a malicious image. |
| Baserow 2.3.3 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the index() formula function. A low-privileged authenticated user who can create or modify formula fields can provide an undocumented fourth argument that is treated as a SQL template and interpolated directly into a PostgreSQL expression.
The vulnerable expression is executed when Baserow recalculates formula field values. Because the generated SQL runs through Baserow's database connection, the injected SQL executes with the privileges of the Baserow PostgreSQL role rather than the permissions of the authenticated application user.
This issue affects Baserow: 2.3.3. |
| IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 2.3.1 is vulnerable to SQL injection. A remote attacker could send specially crafted SQL statements, which could allow the attacker to view, add, modify, or delete information in the back-end database. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf: Reject exited events as group leaders
perf_event_remove_on_exec() sets remove-on-exec events to the EXIT state
and detaches their group relationships. The event's file descriptor can
remain open, however, and perf_event_open() currently accepts that event
as a group leader because its early validation rejects only REVOKED and
DEAD events.
A new sibling can consequently be linked to the detached leader. When
the leader is closed, perf_group_detach() observes that its
PERF_ATTACH_GROUP bit is already clear and skips the new sibling. The
sibling then retains a group_leader pointer to the freed event.
Reject group leaders in the EXIT state. Perform the check while holding
the shared context mutex so that an exec in the target task cannot detach
the leader between validation and group attachment.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: igmp: Fix potential UAF in igmp_gq_start_timer()
A race condition exists between device teardown (inetdev_destroy) and
incoming IGMP query processing (igmp_rcv), leading to a Use-After-Free
in the IGMP timer callback.
During device destruction, inetdev_destroy() drops the primary reference
to in_device, which can drop its refcount to 0. The actual freeing of
in_device memory is deferred via RCU (using call_rcu()).
Concurrently, igmp_rcv() runs under RCU read lock and obtains the
in_device pointer. Because the memory is RCU-protected, CPU-0 can safely
dereference in_device even if its refcount has hit 0.
However, if CPU-0 calls igmp_gq_start_timer() and re-arms the timer, it
attempts to acquire a reference using in_dev_hold(). This increments the
refcount from 0 to 1, triggering a "refcount_t: addition on 0" warning.
Since the in_device memory is still scheduled to be freed after the RCU
grace period (as the free callback does not check the refcount again),
the device is freed while the timer is still armed. When the timer
expires, it accesses the freed memory, causing a kernel panic.
Fix this by using refcount_inc_not_zero() (via a new helper
in_dev_hold_safe()) to prevent acquiring a reference if the device is
already being destroyed. If the refcount is 0, we do not arm the timer.
A similar issue in IPv6 MLD is fixed in a subsequent patch. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: PCM: Fix wait queue list corruption in snd_pcm_drain() on linked streams
snd_pcm_drain() uses init_waitqueue_entry which does not clear
entry.prev/next, and add_wait_queue with a conditional
remove_wait_queue that is skipped when to_check is no longer
in the group after concurrent UNLINK. The orphaned wait entry
remains on the unlinked substream sleep queue. On the next
drain iteration, add_wait_queue adds the entry to a new queue
while still linked on the old one, corrupting both lists. A
subsequent wake_up dereferences NULL at the func pointer
(mapped from the spinlock at offset 0 of the misinterpreted
wait_queue_head_t), causing a kernel panic.
Replace init_waitqueue_entry/add_wait_queue/conditional
remove_wait_queue with init_wait_entry/prepare_to_wait/
finish_wait. init_wait_entry clears prev/next via
INIT_LIST_HEAD on each iteration and sets
autoremove_wake_function which auto-removes the entry on
wake-up. finish_wait safely handles both the already-removed
and still-queued cases. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: pcm: fix use-after-free on linked stream runtime in snd_pcm_drain()
In the drain loop, the local variable 'runtime' is reassigned to a
linked stream's runtime (runtime = s->runtime at line 2157). After
releasing the stream lock at line 2169, the code accesses
runtime->no_period_wakeup, runtime->rate, and runtime->buffer_size
(lines 2170-2178) — all referencing the linked stream's runtime without
any lock or refcount protecting its lifetime.
A concurrent close() on the linked stream's fd triggers
snd_pcm_release_substream() → snd_pcm_drop() → pcm_release_private()
→ snd_pcm_unlink() → snd_pcm_detach_substream() → kfree(runtime).
No synchronization prevents kfree(runtime) from completing while the
drain path dereferences the stale pointer.
Fix by caching the needed runtime fields (no_period_wakeup, rate,
buffer_size) into local variables while still holding the stream lock,
and using the cached values after the lock is released. |
| The Rank Math SEO WordPress plugin before 1.0.277 does not perform a capability check when bulk metadata updates target taxonomy terms, and reuses the supplied object identifier across object types, allowing users with the Author role and above to modify the SEO metadata of terms they cannot edit and to overwrite the titles of posts belonging to other users. |
| The Comments WordPress plugin before 7.6.66 does not validate a value used to build a database query, allowing unauthenticated users to inject SQL and read comments they are not entitled to see, including comments awaiting moderation, comments marked as spam or trashed, and comments on private and draft posts.
The injected text reaches the query as grammar rather than as data and does not yield extraction of arbitrary data, so the confidentiality impact is the disclosed comment content rather than the database at large. |
| The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar WordPress plugin before 2.4.9 does not require authentication or a valid request token before running the post-booking action chain, allowing an unauthenticated user to trigger booking notifications and integration callbacks for a booking by enumerating its identifier. |
| The front-end interface /cms/category/list of MCMS <=6.2.0 is vulnerable to SQL injection. The size parameter is directly concatenated into the LIMIT clause of SQL through FreeMarker ${size} without being parameterized and bound. The built-in SqlInjectionUtil employs regular expression blacklist filtering, yet keywords like CREATE/TABLE/SET/PREPARE/EXECUTE are not included in the list, allowing for bypassing. Attackers can execute stacked SQL statements without logging in. |
| The report module in the backend of smart-web2 v1.3.1 is vulnerable to arbitrary SQL execution. The sqlResource.sql parameter is stored in the t_report_sql_resource table through the ReportController.save() interface and directly embedded into Hibernate native queries without any parameterization or filtering. |
| Spring Security's embedded UnboundID LDAP server (UnboundIdContainer) unconditionally registers an administrative credential and binds its listener to all available network interfaces.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
veth: fix NAPI leak in XDP enable error path
During XDP enablement in veth, if xdp_rxq_info_reg() or
xdp_rxq_info_reg_mem_model() fails, the driver rolls back the changes.
However, the rollback loop:
for (i--; i >= start; i--) {
decrements the loop index 'i' before the first iteration. This
correctly skips unregistering the rxq for the failed index 'i' (as
registration failed or was already cleaned up), but it also
erroneously skips calling netif_napi_deli() for rq[i].xdp_napi.
Since netif_napi_add() was already called for index 'i', this leaves
a dangling napi_struct in the device's napi_list. When the veth
device is later destroyed, the freed queue memory (which contains the
leaked NAPI structure) can be reused.
The subsequent device teardown iterates the NAPI list and
corrupts the reallocated memory, leading to UAF.
Fix this by explicitly deleting the NAPI association for the failed
index 'i' before rolling back the successfully configured queues. |
| gRPC-Go is the Go language implementation of gRPC. Prior to 1.83.1, the xDS RBAC HTTP filter in internal/xds/httpfilter/rbac/rbac.go does not lowercase header matcher names in normalizeHeaderMatcher even though incoming metadata keys are lowercase. A DENY policy using a mixed-case name such as X-Role or User-Agent therefore does not match and fails open, allowing requests that should be rejected. The same case mismatch permits :Scheme or Grpc-Status to evade gRFC A41 validation and prevents Host from being rewritten to :authority. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.1. |
