CVE-2023-48706 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2024-08-02 | 3.6 Low |
Vim is a UNIX editor that, prior to version 9.0.2121, has a heap-use-after-free vulnerability. When executing a `:s` command for the very first time and using a sub-replace-special atom inside the substitution part, it is possible that the recursive `:s` call causes free-ing of memory which may later then be accessed by the initial `:s` command. The user must intentionally execute the payload and the whole process is a bit tricky to do since it seems to work only reliably for the very first :s command. It may also cause a crash of Vim. Version 9.0.2121 contains a fix for this issue.
CVE-2023-48633 | 3 Adobe, Apple, Microsoft | 3 After Effects, Macos, Windows | 2024-08-02 | 7.8 High |
Adobe After Effects versions 24.0.3 (and earlier) and 23.6.0 (and earlier) are affected by a Use After Free vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2023-48414 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-08-02 | 6.7 Medium |
In the Pixel Camera Driver, there is a possible use after free due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.

CVE-2023-48231 | 2 Fedoraproject, Vim | 2 Fedora, Vim | 2024-08-02 | 3.9 Low |
Vim is an open source command line text editor. When closing a window, vim may try to access already freed window structure. Exploitation beyond crashing the application has not been shown to be viable. This issue has been addressed in commit `25aabc2b` which has been included in release version 9.0.2106. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-48184 | 2024-08-02 | 3.9 Low

CVE-2023-47233 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-08-02 | 4.3 Medium |
The brcm80211 component in the Linux kernel through 6.5.10 has a brcmf_cfg80211_detach use-after-free in the device unplugging (disconnect the USB by hotplug) code. For physically proximate attackers with local access, this "could be exploited in a real world scenario." This is related to brcmf_cfg80211_escan_timeout_worker in drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/cfg80211.c.
CVE-2023-47075 | 3 Adobe, Apple, Microsoft | 3 Illustrator, Macos, Windows | 2024-08-02 | 7.8 High |
Adobe Illustrator versions 28.0 (and earlier) and 27.9 (and earlier) are affected by a Use After Free vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2023-46850 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Openvpn | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Openvpn and 1 more | 2024-08-02 | 9.8 Critical |
Use after free in OpenVPN version 2.6.0 to 2.6.6 may lead to undefined behavoir, leaking memory buffers or remote execution when sending network buffers to a remote peer.
CVE-2023-46751 | 1 Artifex | 1 Ghostscript | 2024-08-02 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in the function gdev_prn_open_printer_seekable() in Artifex Ghostscript through 10.02.0 allows remote attackers to crash the application via a dangling pointer.
CVE-2023-46708 | 2024-08-02 | 4.3 Medium
in OpenHarmony v3.2.4 and prior versions allow a local attacker arbitrary code execution in any apps through use after free.
CVE-2023-46691 | 2024-08-02 | 7.9 High
Use after free in Intel(R) Power Gadget software for Windows all versions may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
CVE-2023-46246 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2024-08-02 | 4 Medium |
Vim is an improved version of the good old UNIX editor Vi. Heap-use-after-free in memory allocated in the function `ga_grow_inner` in in the file `src/alloc.c` at line 748, which is freed in the file `src/ex_docmd.c` in the function `do_cmdline` at line 1010 and then used again in `src/cmdhist.c` at line 759. When using the `:history` command, it's possible that the provided argument overflows the accepted value. Causing an Integer Overflow and potentially later an use-after-free. This vulnerability has been patched in version 9.0.2068.
CVE-2023-44446 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-08-02 | 8.8 High |
GStreamer MXF File Parsing Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GStreamer. Interaction with this library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of MXF video files. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object.
