Incomplete cleanup of microarchitectural fill buffers on some Intel(R) Processors may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
CVE-2022-4883 2 Redhat, X.org 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2024-08-03 8.8 High
A flaw was found in libXpm. When processing files with .Z or .gz extensions, the library calls external programs to compress and uncompress files, relying on the PATH environment variable to find these programs, which could allow a malicious user to execute other programs by manipulating the PATH environment variable.
CVE-2022-4378 2 Linux, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 6 more 2024-08-03 7.8 High
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's SYSCTL subsystem in how a user changes certain kernel parameters and variables. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-4254 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 16 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 13 more 2024-08-03 8.8 High
sssd: libsss_certmap fails to sanitise certificate data used in LDAP filters
CVE-2022-3775 2 Gnu, Redhat 6 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2024-08-03 7.1 High
When rendering certain unicode sequences, grub2's font code doesn't proper validate if the informed glyph's width and height is constrained within bitmap size. As consequence an attacker can craft an input which will lead to a out-of-bounds write into grub2's heap, leading to memory corruption and availability issues. Although complex, arbitrary code execution could not be discarded.
CVE-2022-3515 3 Gnupg, Gpg4win, Redhat 10 Gnupg, Libksba, Vs-desktop and 7 more 2024-08-03 9.8 Critical
A vulnerability was found in the Libksba library due to an integer overflow within the CRL parser. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely for code execution on the target system by passing specially crafted data to the application, for example, a malicious S/MIME attachment.
CVE-2022-3560 3 Fedoraproject, Pesign Project, Redhat 7 Fedora, Pesign, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2024-08-03 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in pesign. The pesign package provides a systemd service used to start the pesign daemon. This service unit runs a script to set ACLs for /etc/pki/pesign and /run/pesign directories to grant access privileges to users in the 'pesign' group. However, the script doesn't check for symbolic links. This could allow an attacker to gain access to privileged files and directories via a path traversal attack.
CVE-2022-3545 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 18 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 15 more 2024-08-03 5.5 Medium
A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function area_cache_get of the file drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/nfpcore/nfp_cppcore.c of the component IPsec. The manipulation leads to use after free. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier VDB-211045 was assigned to this vulnerability.
CVE-2022-3564 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 17 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 14 more 2024-08-03 5.5 Medium
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Linux Kernel. Affected by this vulnerability is the function l2cap_reassemble_sdu of the file net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c of the component Bluetooth. The manipulation leads to use after free. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-211087.
CVE-2022-2964 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 18 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 15 more 2024-08-03 7.8 High
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s driver for the ASIX AX88179_178A-based USB 2.0/3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Devices. The vulnerability contains multiple out-of-bounds reads and possible out-of-bounds writes.
CVE-2022-2625 3 Fedoraproject, Postgresql, Redhat 8 Fedora, Postgresql, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2024-08-03 8.0 High
A vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL. This attack requires permission to create non-temporary objects in at least one schema, the ability to lure or wait for an administrator to create or update an affected extension in that schema, and the ability to lure or wait for a victim to use the object targeted in CREATE OR REPLACE or CREATE IF NOT EXISTS. Given all three prerequisites, this flaw allows an attacker to run arbitrary code as the victim role, which may be a superuser.
CVE-2022-2639 2 Linux, Redhat 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2024-08-03 7.8 High
An integer coercion error was found in the openvswitch kernel module. Given a sufficiently large number of actions, while copying and reserving memory for a new action of a new flow, the reserve_sfa_size() function does not return -EMSGSIZE as expected, potentially leading to an out-of-bounds write access. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-2414 2 Dogtagpki, Redhat 7 Dogtagpki, Certificate System, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
Access to external entities when parsing XML documents can lead to XML external entity (XXE) attacks. This flaw allows a remote attacker to potentially retrieve the content of arbitrary files by sending specially crafted HTTP requests.
CVE-2022-2132 4 Debian, Dpdk, Fedoraproject and 1 more 15 Debian Linux, Data Plane Development Kit, Fedora and 12 more 2024-08-03 8.6 High
A permissive list of allowed inputs flaw was found in DPDK. This issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service triggered by sending a crafted Vhost header to DPDK.
CVE-2022-1789 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 4 more 2024-08-03 6.8 Medium
With shadow paging enabled, the INVPCID instruction results in a call to kvm_mmu_invpcid_gva. If INVPCID is executed with CR0.PG=0, the invlpg callback is not set and the result is a NULL pointer dereference.
CVE-2022-1729 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Hci Baseboard Management Controller, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2024-08-03 7.0 High
A race condition was found the Linux kernel in perf_event_open() which can be exploited by an unprivileged user to gain root privileges. The bug allows to build several exploit primitives such as kernel address information leak, arbitrary execution, etc.
CVE-2022-1158 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 8 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2024-08-02 7.8 High
A flaw was found in KVM. When updating a guest's page table entry, vm_pgoff was improperly used as the offset to get the page's pfn. As vaddr and vm_pgoff are controllable by user-mode processes, this flaw allows unprivileged local users on the host to write outside the userspace region and potentially corrupt the kernel, resulting in a denial of service condition.
CVE-2022-1048 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 22 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 19 more 2024-08-02 7.0 High
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s sound subsystem in the way a user triggers concurrent calls of PCM hw_params. The hw_free ioctls or similar race condition happens inside ALSA PCM for other ioctls. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
