CVE-2019-3902 | 3 Debian, Mercurial, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Mercurial, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
A flaw was found in Mercurial before 4.9. It was possible to use symlinks and subrepositories to defeat Mercurial's path-checking logic and write files outside a repository.
CVE-2019-3900 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.7 High |
An infinite loop issue was found in the vhost_net kernel module in Linux Kernel up to and including v5.1-rc6, while handling incoming packets in handle_rx(). It could occur if one end sends packets faster than the other end can process them. A guest user, maybe remote one, could use this flaw to stall the vhost_net kernel thread, resulting in a DoS scenario.
CVE-2019-3901 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 14 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager For Vmware Vsphere and 11 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.7 Medium |
A race condition in perf_event_open() allows local attackers to leak sensitive data from setuid programs. As no relevant locks (in particular the cred_guard_mutex) are held during the ptrace_may_access() call, it is possible for the specified target task to perform an execve() syscall with setuid execution before perf_event_alloc() actually attaches to it, allowing an attacker to bypass the ptrace_may_access() check and the perf_event_exit_task(current) call that is performed in install_exec_creds() during privileged execve() calls. This issue affects kernel versions before 4.8.
CVE-2019-3846 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 14 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.8 High |
A flaw that allowed an attacker to corrupt memory and possibly escalate privileges was found in the mwifiex kernel module while connecting to a malicious wireless network.
CVE-2019-3855 | 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 18 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.8 High |
An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-3857 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 4 more | 17 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 14 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.8 High |
An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_REQUEST packets with an exit signal are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-3882 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vfio interface implementation that permits violation of the user's locked memory limit. If a device is bound to a vfio driver, such as vfio-pci, and the local attacker is administratively granted ownership of the device, it may cause a system memory exhaustion and thus a denial of service (DoS). Versions 3.10, 4.14 and 4.18 are vulnerable.
CVE-2019-3861 | 5 Debian, Libssh2, Netapp and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Libssh2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 3 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
An out of bounds read flaw was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way SSH packets with a padding length value greater than the packet length are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to cause a Denial of Service or read data in the client memory.
CVE-2019-3859 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 2 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 2 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |

CVE-2019-3862 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 4 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
An out of bounds read flaw was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_REQUEST packets with an exit status message and no payload are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to cause a Denial of Service or read data in the client memory.
CVE-2019-3863 | 5 Debian, Libssh2, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Libssh2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 12 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
A flaw was found in libssh2 before 1.8.1. A server could send a multiple keyboard interactive response messages whose total length are greater than unsigned char max characters. This value is used as an index to copy memory causing in an out of bounds memory write error.
CVE-2019-3823 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 3 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 6 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. The read contents will not be returned to the caller.
CVE-2019-3819 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in the function hid_debug_events_read() in drivers/hid/hid-debug.c file which may enter an infinite loop with certain parameters passed from a userspace. A local privileged user ("root") can cause a system lock up and a denial of service. Versions from v4.18 and newer are vulnerable.
CVE-2019-3883 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, 389 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
In 389-ds-base up to version 1.4.1.2, requests are handled by workers threads. Each sockets will be waited by the worker for at most 'ioblocktimeout' seconds. However this timeout applies only for un-encrypted requests. Connections using SSL/TLS are not taking this timeout into account during reads, and may hang longer. An unauthenticated attacker could repeatedly create hanging LDAP requests to hang all the workers, resulting in a Denial of Service. |
