CVE-2024-1737 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Resolver caches and authoritative zone databases that hold significant numbers of RRs for the same hostname (of any RTYPE) can suffer from degraded performance as content is being added or updated, and also when handling client queries for this name. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.11.37, 9.16.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.27, 9.19.0 through 9.19.24, 9.11.4-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.27-S1.
CVE-2024-1597 | 3 Fedoraproject, Postgresql, Redhat | 12 Fedora, Postgresql Jdbc Driver, Apache Camel Spring Boot and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 10 Critical |
pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, allows attacker to inject SQL if using PreferQueryMode=SIMPLE. Note this is not the default. In the default mode there is no vulnerability. A placeholder for a numeric value must be immediately preceded by a minus. There must be a second placeholder for a string value after the first placeholder; both must be on the same line. By constructing a matching string payload, the attacker can inject SQL to alter the query, bypassing the protections that parameterized queries bring against SQL Injection attacks. Versions before 42.7.2, 42.6.1, 42.5.5, 42.4.4, 42.3.9, and 42.2.28 are affected.
CVE-2024-1553 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 122, Firefox ESR 115.7, and Thunderbird 115.7. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1552 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
Incorrect code generation could have led to unexpected numeric conversions and potential undefined behavior.*Note:* This issue only affects 32-bit ARM devices. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1551 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
Set-Cookie response headers were being incorrectly honored in multipart HTTP responses. If an attacker could control the Content-Type response header, as well as control part of the response body, they could inject Set-Cookie response headers that would have been honored by the browser. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1550 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
A malicious website could have used a combination of exiting fullscreen mode and `requestPointerLock` to cause the user's mouse to be re-positioned unexpectedly, which could have led to user confusion and inadvertently granting permissions they did not intend to grant. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1549 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
If a website set a large custom cursor, portions of the cursor could have overlapped with the permission dialog, potentially resulting in user confusion and unexpected granted permissions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1548 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
A website could have obscured the fullscreen notification by using a dropdown select input element. This could have led to user confusion and possible spoofing attacks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1547 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Through a series of API calls and redirects, an attacker-controlled alert dialog could have been displayed on another website (with the victim website's URL shown). This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1546 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
When storing and re-accessing data on a networking channel, the length of buffers may have been confused, resulting in an out-of-bounds memory read. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123, Firefox ESR < 115.8, and Thunderbird < 115.8.
CVE-2024-1488 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8 High |
A vulnerability was found in Unbound due to incorrect default permissions, allowing any process outside the unbound group to modify the unbound runtime configuration. If a process can connect over localhost to port 8953, it can alter the configuration of unbound.service. This flaw allows an unprivileged attacker to manipulate a running instance, potentially altering forwarders, allowing them to track all queries forwarded by the local resolver, and, in some cases, disrupting resolving altogether.
CVE-2024-1454 | 3 Fedoraproject, Opensc Project, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 3.4 Low |
The use-after-free vulnerability was found in the AuthentIC driver in OpenSC packages, occuring in the card enrolment process using pkcs15-init when a user or administrator enrols or modifies cards. An attacker must have physical access to the computer system and requires a crafted USB device or smart card to present the system with specially crafted responses to the APDUs, which are considered high complexity and low severity. This manipulation can allow for compromised card management operations during enrolment.
CVE-2024-1441 | 1 Redhat | 2 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
An off-by-one error flaw was found in the udevListInterfacesByStatus() function in libvirt when the number of interfaces exceeds the size of the `names` array. This issue can be reproduced by sending specially crafted data to the libvirt daemon, allowing an unprivileged client to perform a denial of service attack by causing the libvirt daemon to crash.
CVE-2024-1313 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
It is possible for a user in a different organization from the owner of a snapshot to bypass authorization and delete a snapshot by issuing a DELETE request to /api/snapshots/<key> using its view key. This functionality is intended to only be available to individuals with the permission to write/edit to the snapshot in question, but due to a bug in the authorization logic, deletion requests issued by an unprivileged user in a different organization than the snapshot owner are treated as authorized. Grafana Labs would like to thank Ravid Mazon and Jay Chen of Palo Alto Research for discovering and disclosing this vulnerability. This issue affects Grafana: from 9.5.0 before 9.5.18, from 10.0.0 before 10.0.13, from 10.1.0 before 10.1.9, from 10.2.0 before 10.2.6, from 10.3.0 before 10.3.5.
CVE-2024-1312 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 5.1 Medium |
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Memory Management subsystem when a user wins two races at the same time with a fail in the mas_prev_slot function. This issue could allow a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2024-1298 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 6 Medium |
EDK2 contains a vulnerability when S3 sleep is activated where an Attacker may cause a Division-By-Zero due to a UNIT32 overflow via local access. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to a loss of Availability.
CVE-2024-1086 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The nft_verdict_init() function allows positive values as drop error within the hook verdict, and hence the nf_hook_slow() function can cause a double free vulnerability when NF_DROP is issued with a drop error which resembles NF_ACCEPT. We recommend upgrading past commit f342de4e2f33e0e39165d8639387aa6c19dff660.
CVE-2024-1085 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The nft_setelem_catchall_deactivate() function checks whether the catch-all set element is active in the current generation instead of the next generation before freeing it, but only flags it inactive in the next generation, making it possible to free the element multiple times, leading to a double free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit b1db244ffd041a49ecc9618e8feb6b5c1afcdaa7.
CVE-2024-1013 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 7.1 High |
An out-of-bounds stack write flaw was found in unixODBC on 64-bit architectures where the caller has 4 bytes and callee writes 8 bytes. This issue may go unnoticed on little-endian architectures, while big-endian architectures can be broken.
CVE-2024-0985 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 7 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 8 High |
Late privilege drop in REFRESH MATERIALIZED VIEW CONCURRENTLY in PostgreSQL allows an object creator to execute arbitrary SQL functions as the command issuer. The command intends to run SQL functions as the owner of the materialized view, enabling safe refresh of untrusted materialized views. The victim is a superuser or member of one of the attacker's roles. The attack requires luring the victim into running REFRESH MATERIALIZED VIEW CONCURRENTLY on the attacker's materialized view. Versions before PostgreSQL 16.2, 15.6, 14.11, 13.14, and 12.18 are affected. |
