CVE-2019-14901 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
A heap overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel, all versions 3.x.x and 4.x.x before 4.18.0, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service, or execute arbitrary code. The highest threat with this vulnerability is with the availability of the system. If code execution occurs, the code will run with the permissions of root. This will affect both confidentiality and integrity of files on the system.
CVE-2019-14897 3 Canonical, Debian, Linux 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
A stack-based buffer overflow was found in the Linux kernel, version kernel-2.6.32, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. An attacker is able to cause a denial of service (system crash) or, possibly execute arbitrary code, when a STA works in IBSS mode (allows connecting stations together without the use of an AP) and connects to another STA.
CVE-2019-14896 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel, version kernel-2.6.32, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. A remote attacker could cause a denial of service (system crash) or, possibly execute arbitrary code, when the lbs_ibss_join_existing function is called after a STA connects to an AP.
CVE-2019-14895 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in the Linux kernel, all versions 3.x.x and 4.x.x before 4.18.0, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. The flaw could occur when the station attempts a connection negotiation during the handling of the remote devices country settings. This could allow the remote device to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2019-14835 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 49 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
A buffer overflow flaw was found, in versions from 2.6.34 to 5.2.x, in the way Linux kernel's vhost functionality that translates virtqueue buffers to IOVs, logged the buffer descriptors during migration. A privileged guest user able to pass descriptors with invalid length to the host when migration is underway, could use this flaw to increase their privileges on the host.
CVE-2019-14821 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 41 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 38 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
An out-of-bounds access issue was found in the Linux kernel, all versions through 5.3, in the way Linux kernel's KVM hypervisor implements the Coalesced MMIO write operation. It operates on an MMIO ring buffer 'struct kvm_coalesced_mmio' object, wherein write indices 'ring->first' and 'ring->last' value could be supplied by a host user-space process. An unprivileged host user or process with access to '/dev/kvm' device could use this flaw to crash the host kernel, resulting in a denial of service or potentially escalating privileges on the system.
CVE-2019-14816 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 60 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 57 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
There is heap-based buffer overflow in kernel, all versions up to, excluding 5.3, in the marvell wifi chip driver in Linux kernel, that allows local users to cause a denial of service(system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2019-14814 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more 50 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 47 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
There is heap-based buffer overflow in Linux kernel, all versions up to, excluding 5.3, in the marvell wifi chip driver in Linux kernel, that allows local users to cause a denial of service(system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.

arch/powerpc/mm/mmu_context_book3s64.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.15 for powerpc has a bug where unrelated processes may be able to read/write to one another's virtual memory under certain conditions via an mmap above 512 TB. Only a subset of powerpc systems are affected.
CVE-2019-11884 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 10 more 2024-11-21 3.3 Low
The do_hidp_sock_ioctl function in net/bluetooth/hidp/sock.c in the Linux kernel before 5.0.15 allows a local user to obtain potentially sensitive information from kernel stack memory via a HIDPCONNADD command, because a name field may not end with a '\0' character.
