CVSS v3.1 |
| Bitnami Cassandra container images are affected by a retained default superuser vulnerability. When a custom administrator account is configured via the CASSANDRA_USER environment variable, the container initialization script creates the new superuser account but fails to drop the built-in cassandra account in certain scenarios. This leaves the default cassandra:cassandra superuser active as an unintended access path.
Affected versions — Container image: 4.0.x prior to 4.0.20-photon-5-r7; 4.1.x prior to 4.1.11-photon-5-r7; 5.0.x prior to 5.0.8-photon-5-r4 / 5.0.8-debian-12-r3. |
| Metrics::Any::Adapter::DogStatsd versions before 0.04 for Perl does not protect against metric injections.
The statsd protocol (and extensions such as dogstatsd) allow mutiple metrics, separated by newlines, to be sent per packet.
Metrics::Any::Adapter::DogStatsd which extends Metrics::Any::Adapter::Statsd, which has a similar vulnerability.
In addition, the _tags function does not check tags for newlines or statsd control characters. The tags can be used for metric injections. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: validate dacloffset before building DACL pointers
parse_sec_desc(), build_sec_desc(), and the chown path in
id_mode_to_cifs_acl() all add the server-supplied dacloffset to pntsd
before proving a DACL header fits inside the returned security
descriptor.
On 32-bit builds a malicious server can return dacloffset near
U32_MAX, wrap the derived DACL pointer below end_of_acl, and then slip
past the later pointer-based bounds checks. build_sec_desc() and
id_mode_to_cifs_acl() can then dereference DACL fields from the wrapped
pointer in the chmod/chown rewrite paths.
Validate dacloffset numerically before building any DACL pointer and
reuse the same helper at the three DACL entry points. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mptcp: pm: ADD_ADDR rtx: fix potential data-race
This mptcp_pm_add_timer() helper is executed as a timer callback in
softirq context. To avoid any data races, the socket lock needs to be
held with bh_lock_sock().
If the socket is in use, retry again soon after, similar to what is done
with the keepalive timer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/tcp-md5: Fix MAC comparison to be constant-time
To prevent timing attacks, MACs need to be compared in constant
time. Use the appropriate helper function for this. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/ipv6: ioam6: prevent schema length wraparound in trace fill
ioam6_fill_trace_data() stores the schema contribution to the trace
length in a u8. With bit 22 enabled and the largest schema payload,
sclen becomes 1 + 1020 / 4, wraps from 256 to 0, and bypasses the
remaining-space check. __ioam6_fill_trace_data() then positions the
write cursor without reserving the schema area but still copies the
4-byte schema header and the full schema payload, overrunning the trace
buffer.
Keep sclen in an unsigned int so the remaining-space check and the write
cursor calculation both see the full schema length. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: fix heap overflow in NFSv4.0 LOCK replay cache
The NFSv4.0 replay cache uses a fixed 112-byte inline buffer
(rp_ibuf[NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE]) to store encoded operation responses.
This size was calculated based on OPEN responses and does not account
for LOCK denied responses, which include the conflicting lock owner as
a variable-length field up to 1024 bytes (NFS4_OPAQUE_LIMIT).
When a LOCK operation is denied due to a conflict with an existing lock
that has a large owner, nfsd4_encode_operation() copies the full encoded
response into the undersized replay buffer via read_bytes_from_xdr_buf()
with no bounds check. This results in a slab-out-of-bounds write of up
to 944 bytes past the end of the buffer, corrupting adjacent heap memory.
This can be triggered remotely by an unauthenticated attacker with two
cooperating NFSv4.0 clients: one sets a lock with a large owner string,
then the other requests a conflicting lock to provoke the denial.
We could fix this by increasing NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE to allow for a full
opaque, but that would increase the size of every stateowner, when most
lockowners are not that large.
Instead, fix this by checking the encoded response length against
NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE before copying into the replay buffer. If the
response is too large, set rp_buflen to 0 to skip caching the replay
payload. The status is still cached, and the client already received the
correct response on the original request. |
| The WP MAPS PRO WordPress plugin before 6.1.1 registers an unauthenticated AJAX action which, given a valid nonce that is publicly emitted on any frontend page enqueuing its map script, unconditionally creates an administrator account and returns a magic-login URL granting interactive admin access. |
| remotion-dev remotion v4.0.409 was discovered to contain an arbitrary file write vulnerability. |
| Tenda 5G03 V05.03.02.04 (Version 1.0) is vulnerable to Command injection in the function action_set_volume via the volume parameter. |
| Tenda 5G03 V05.03.02.04 (Version 1.0) is vulnerable to Command injection in the function action_set_rat_mode via the ratMode parameter. |
| RuoYi v4.8.2 is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the /tool/gen/createTable endpoint. The issue affects the code generation module and may allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privileges to access sensitive database information. |
| Datadog, Inc Vector v0.54.0 was discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the set_uri_query parameter in the KeyPartitioner::partition function. This vulnerability allows attackers to access sensitive database information via crafted SQL statements. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the media archiving and export pipeline component of kanishka-linux Reminiscence v0.3.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via supplying a crafted input. |
| Bernd Bestel grocy v4.6.0 was discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the product-group parameter at /stockreports/spendings. This vulnerability allows attackers to access sensitive database information via a crafted SQL statement. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain user-level access to the underlying operating system and then elevate privileges to root. In single-node deployments, successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause the affected ISE node to become unavailable, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. In that condition, endpoints that have not already authenticated would be unable to access the network until the node is restored. |
