CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/mm: Disallow vsyscall page read for copy_from_kernel_nofault()
When trying to use copy_from_kernel_nofault() to read vsyscall page
through a bpf program, the following oops was reported:
BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffffffff600000

---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]---
The oops is triggered when:
1) A bpf program uses bpf_probe_read_kernel() to read from the vsyscall
page and invokes copy_from_kernel_nofault() which in turn calls
__get_user_asm().
2) Because the vsyscall page address is not readable from kernel space,
a page fault exception is triggered accordingly.
3) handle_page_fault() considers the vsyscall page address as a user
space address instead of a kernel space address. This results in the
fix-up setup by bpf not being applied and a page_fault_oops() is invoked
due to SMAP.
Considering handle_page_fault() has already considered the vsyscall page
address as a userspace address, fix the problem by disallowing vsyscall
page read for copy_from_kernel_nofault(). |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: fix possible store tearing in neigh_periodic_work()
While looking at a related syzbot report involving neigh_periodic_work(),
I found that I forgot to add an annotation when deleting an
RCU protected item from a list.
Readers use rcu_deference(*np), we need to use either
rcu_assign_pointer() or WRITE_ONCE() on writer side
to prevent store tearing.
I use rcu_assign_pointer() to have lockdep support,
this was the choice made in neigh_flush_dev(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
powerpc/rtas: use correct function name for resetting TCE tables
The PAPR spec spells the function name as
"ibm,reset-pe-dma-windows"
but in practice firmware uses the singular form:
"ibm,reset-pe-dma-window"
in the device tree. Since we have the wrong spelling in the RTAS
function table, reverse lookups (token -> name) fail and warn:
unexpected failed lookup for token 86

And oopses are possible when lockdep is enabled or the RTAS
tracepoints are active, since those paths dereference the result of
the lookup.
Use the correct spelling to match firmware's behavior, adjusting the
related constants to match. |
| A vulnerability has been found in riscv-boom SonicBOOM up to 2.2.3 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component L1 Data Cache Handler. The manipulation leads to observable timing discrepancy. Local access is required to approach this attack. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An issue was discovered in mcp-neo4j 0.3.0 allowing attackers to obtain sensitive information or execute arbitrary commands via the SSE service. NOTE: the Supplier's position is that authentication is not mandatory for MCP servers, and the mcp-neo4j MCP server is only intended for use in a local environment where authentication realistically would not be needed. Also, the Supplier provides middleware to help isolate the MCP server from external access (if needed). |
| Windows Wi-Fi Driver Remote Code Execution Vulnerability |
| Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Starting in version 2.2 and prior to version 3.3.7, an endpoint used to display details of users listed in certain fields (such as ACLs) could be misused to dump basic user details (such as name, affiliation and email) in bulk. Version 3.3.7 fixes the issue. Owners of instances that allow everyone to create a user account, who wish to truly restrict access to these user details, should consider restricting user search to managers. As a workaround, it is possible to restrict access to the affected endpoints (e.g. in the webserver config), but doing so would break certain form fields which could no longer show the details of the users listed in those fields, so upgrading instead is highly recommended. |
| An issue was discovered in AXIS BANK LIMITED Axis Mobile App 9.9 that allows attackers to obtain sensitive information without a UPI PIN, such as account information, balances, transaction history, and unspecified other information. NOTE: the Supplier's perspective is that this is an intended feature and "does not reveal much sensitive information." |
| Windows Themes Spoofing Vulnerability |
| Sentry is an error tracking and performance monitoring platform. Version 24.11.0, and only version 24.11.0, is vulnerable to a scenario where a specific error message generated by the Sentry platform could include a plaintext Client ID and Client Secret for an application integration. The Client ID and Client Secret would not be displayed in the UI, but would be returned in the underlying HTTP response to the end user. This could occur under the following conditions: An app installation made use of a Search UI component with the `async` flag set to true (default: true); auser types types into the Search Component which creates a request to the third-party for search or query results; and that third-party response may then fail validation and Sentry would return the `select-requester.invalid-response` error code along with a serialized version of a Sentry application containing the integration Client Secret. Should this error be found, it's reasonable to assume the potential exposure of an integration Client Secret. However, an ID and Secret pair alone does not provide direct access to any data. For that secret to be abused an attacker would also need to obtain a valid API token for a Sentry application.
Sentry SaaS users do not need to take any action. For Sentry SaaS users, only a single application integration was impacted and the owner has rotated their Client Secret. No abuse of the leaked Client Secret has occurred.
As of time of publication, a fix is available for users of Sentry self-hosted in pull request 81038. Sentry self-hosted does not ship with any application integrations. This could only impact self-hosted users that maintain their own integrations. In that case, search for a `select-requester.invalid-response` event. Please note that this error was also shared with another event unrelated to this advisory so Sentry self-hosted users will also need to review the parameters logged for each named event. Sentry self-hosted users may review `select_requester.py` for the instances where these errors can be generated. With the security fix this is no longer a shared event type. Sentry self-hosted users may not install version 24.11.0 and instead wait for the next release. Self-hosted instance that are already running the affected version may consider downgrading to to 24.10.0. |
| A vulnerability has been found in BoyunCMS up to 1.21 on PHP7 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file install/install2.php of the component Installation Handler. The manipulation of the argument db_host leads to deserialization. The attack can be launched remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is an open-source web content management platform (CMS) in the Microsoft ecosystem. In versions 6.0.0 to before 10.0.1, DNN.PLATFORM allows a specially crafted series of malicious interaction to potentially expose NTLM hashes to a third party SMB server. This issue has been patched in version 10.0.1. |
| httpsig-rs is a Rust implementation of IETF RFC 9421 http message signatures. Prior to version 0.0.19, the HMAC signature comparison is not timing-safe. This makes anyone who uses HS256 signature verification vulnerable to a timing attack that allows the attacker to forge a signature. Version 0.0.19 fixes the issue. |
| The MongoDB Server is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability due to improper handling of specific date values in JSON input when using OIDC authentication. This can be reproduced using the mongo shell to send a malicious JSON payload leading to an invariant failure and server crash. This issue affects MongoDB Server v7.0 versions prior to 7.0.17 and MongoDB Server v8.0 versions prior to 8.0.5.
The same issue affects MongoDB Server v6.0 versions prior to 6.0.21, but an attacker can only induce denial of service after authenticating. |
| Improper Input Validation in Hitron Systems DVR LGUVR-16H 1.02~4.02 allows an attacker to cause network attack in case of using defalut admin ID/PW. |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Honeywell PM43 on 32 bit, ARM (Printer web page modules) allows Command Injection. This issue affects PM43 versions prior to P10.19.050004. Update to the latest available firmware version of the respective printers to version MR19.5 (e.g. P10.19.050006). |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak in OAuth 2.0 Pushed Authorization Requests (PAR). Client-provided parameters were found to be included in plain text in the KC_RESTART cookie returned by the authorization server's HTTP response to a `request_uri` authorization request, possibly leading to an information disclosure vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability exists in the bind-propagation option of the Dockerfile RUN --mount instruction. The system does not properly validate the input passed to this option, allowing users to pass arbitrary parameters to the mount instruction. This issue can be exploited to mount sensitive directories from the host into a container during the build process and, in some cases, modify the contents of those mounted files. Even if SELinux is used, this vulnerability can bypass its protection by allowing the source directory to be relabeled to give the container access to host files. |
| A timing-based side-channel flaw exists in the rust-openssl package, which could be sufficient to recover a plaintext across a network in a Bleichenbacher-style attack. To achieve successful decryption, an attacker would have to be able to send a large number of trial messages for decryption. The vulnerability affects the legacy PKCS#1v1.5 RSA encryption padding mode. |
