CVE-2026-31412 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_mass_storage: Fix potential integer overflow in check_command_size_in_blocks() The `check_command_size_in_blocks()` function calculates the data size in bytes by left shifting `common->data_size_from_cmnd` by the block size (`common->curlun->blkbits`). However, it does not validate whether this shift operation will cause an integer overflow. Initially, the block size is set up in `fsg_lun_open()` , and the `common->data_size_from_cmnd` is set up in `do_scsi_command()`. During initialization, there is no integer overflow check for the interaction between two variables. So if a malicious USB host sends a SCSI READ or WRITE command requesting a large amount of data (`common->data_size_from_cmnd`), the left shift operation can wrap around. This results in a truncated data size, which can bypass boundary checks and potentially lead to memory corruption or out-of-bounds accesses. Fix this by using the check_shl_overflow() macro to safely perform the shift and catch any overflows.
CVE-2026-31413 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix unsound scalar forking in maybe_fork_scalars() for BPF_OR maybe_fork_scalars() is called for both BPF_AND and BPF_OR when the source operand is a constant. When dst has signed range [-1, 0], it forks the verifier state: the pushed path gets dst = 0, the current path gets dst = -1. For BPF_AND this is correct: 0 & K == 0. For BPF_OR this is wrong: 0 | K == K, not 0. The pushed path therefore tracks dst as 0 when the runtime value is K, producing an exploitable verifier/runtime divergence that allows out-of-bounds map access. Fix this by passing env->insn_idx (instead of env->insn_idx + 1) to push_stack(), so the pushed path re-executes the ALU instruction with dst = 0 and naturally computes the correct result for any opcode.
CVE-2026-44916 1 Openstack 1 Ironic 2026-05-20 3 Low
In OpenStack Ironic before 35.0.2 (in a certain non-default configuration), instance_info['ks_template'] is rendered without sandboxing.
CVE-2026-6843 2 Gnu, Redhat 5 Nano, Enterprise Linux, Nano and 2 more 2026-05-20 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in nano. A local user could exploit a format string vulnerability in the `statusline()` function. By creating a directory with a name containing `printf` specifiers, the application attempts to display this name, leading to a segmentation fault (SEGV). This results in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the `nano` application.
CVE-2026-31401 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: prevent buffer overflow in hid_hw_request right now the returned value is considered to be always valid. However, when playing with HID-BPF, the return value can be arbitrary big, because it's the return value of dispatch_hid_bpf_raw_requests(), which calls the struct_ops and we have no guarantees that the value makes sense.
CVE-2026-31402 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix heap overflow in NFSv4.0 LOCK replay cache The NFSv4.0 replay cache uses a fixed 112-byte inline buffer (rp_ibuf[NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE]) to store encoded operation responses. This size was calculated based on OPEN responses and does not account for LOCK denied responses, which include the conflicting lock owner as a variable-length field up to 1024 bytes (NFS4_OPAQUE_LIMIT). When a LOCK operation is denied due to a conflict with an existing lock that has a large owner, nfsd4_encode_operation() copies the full encoded response into the undersized replay buffer via read_bytes_from_xdr_buf() with no bounds check. This results in a slab-out-of-bounds write of up to 944 bytes past the end of the buffer, corrupting adjacent heap memory. This can be triggered remotely by an unauthenticated attacker with two cooperating NFSv4.0 clients: one sets a lock with a large owner string, then the other requests a conflicting lock to provoke the denial. We could fix this by increasing NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE to allow for a full opaque, but that would increase the size of every stateowner, when most lockowners are not that large. Instead, fix this by checking the encoded response length against NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE before copying into the replay buffer. If the response is too large, set rp_buflen to 0 to skip caching the replay payload. The status is still cached, and the client already received the correct response on the original request.
CVE-2026-23956 1 Lxsmnsyc 1 Seroval 2026-05-20 7.5 High
seroval facilitates JS value stringification, including complex structures beyond JSON.stringify capabilities. In versions 0.2.0 through 1.4.0, overriding RegExp serialization with extremely large patterns can exhaust JavaScript runtime memory during deserialization. Additionally, overriding RegExp serialization with patterns that trigger catastrophic backtracking can lead to ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service). This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-29207 1 Apache 1 Ofbiz 2026-05-19 6.5 Medium
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. Please note that in the updated version, "Data Resource" records with dataTemplateTypeId = "FTL" are no longer supported. Additionally, in the updated version, the "Ecommerce Customer" security group no longer includes content management grants. Users are advised to remove these permissions from any production site as well.
CVE-2020-28271 1 Sharpred 1 Deephas 2026-05-19 9.8 Critical
Prototype pollution vulnerability in 'deephas' versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.5 allows attacker to cause a denial of service and may lead to remote code execution.
CVE-2026-0967 2 Libssh, Redhat 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 1 more 2026-05-19 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. A remote attacker, by controlling client configuration files or known_hosts files, could craft specific hostnames that when processed by the `match_pattern()` function can lead to inefficient regular expression backtracking. This can cause timeouts and resource exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the client.

From versions 0.4.0 to before 0.4.24, 0.5.0 to before 0.5.14, and 0.6.0 to before 0.6.4, when authenticating a connection with SCRAM-SHA1 or SCRAM-SHA256, a hostile server can perform a computational denial-of-service attack on the client process by sending a big iteration count value. This issue has been patched in versions 0.4.24, 0.5.14, and 0.6.4.
CVE-2026-44129 1 Seppmail 1 Secure Email Gateway 2026-05-18 N/A
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before version 15.0.4 contains a server-side template injection vulnerability in the new GINA UI because an endpoint accepts attacker-controlled template, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary template expressions and potentially achieve remote code execution depending on the enabled template plugins.
CVE-2026-6474 1 Postgresql 1 Postgresql 2026-05-18 4.3 Medium
Externally-controlled format string in PostgreSQL timeofday() function allows an attacker to retrieve portions of server memory, via crafted timezone zones. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.4, 17.10, 16.14, 15.18, and 14.23 are affected.
CVE-2026-44292 2 Protobuf, Protobufjs Project 2 Protobuf, Protobufjs 2026-05-18 5.3 Medium
protobufjs compiles protobuf definitions into JavaScript (JS) functions. Prior to 7.5.6 and 8.0.2, protobufjs generated message constructors copied enumerable properties from a provided properties object without filtering the __proto__ key. If an application constructed a message from an attacker-controlled plain object, an own enumerable __proto__ property could alter the prototype of that individual message instance. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.5.6 and 8.0.2.
CVE-2026-8657 1 Benjamine 1 Jsondiffpatch 2026-05-18 8.2 High
Versions of the package jsondiffpatch before 0.7.6 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via the jsondiffpatch.patch() and jsondiffpatch/formatters/jsonpatch.patch() APIs. An attacker can perform prototype pollution by supplying crafted delta or JSON Patch documents, as attacker-controlled property names and path segments are used to traverse and modify objects without restricting access to special properties like __proto__ or constructor.prototype, allowing modification of Object.prototype.
CVE-2026-44425 2 Shellhub, Shellhub-io 2 Shellhub, Shellhub 2026-05-18 5.4 Medium
ShellHub is a centralized SSH gateway. Prior to 0.24.2, the device list endpoint accepts user-controlled identifiers in the the name field of each filter property in the base64-encoded filter query parameter and the sort_by query parameter, which are then passed directly as BSON/SQL keys in the database layer without validation. Any authenticated user can craft payloads that cause the aggregation / query to fail and the API to return HTTP 500 with no body, with no rate limiting applied. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.24.2.
CVE-2026-31635 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-18 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: fix oversized RESPONSE authenticator length check rxgk_verify_response() decodes auth_len from the packet and is supposed to verify that it fits in the remaining bytes. The existing check is inverted, so oversized RESPONSE authenticators are accepted and passed to rxgk_decrypt_skb(), which can later reach skb_to_sgvec() with an impossible length and hit BUG_ON(len). Decoded from the original latest-net reproduction logs with scripts/decode_stacktrace.sh: RIP: __skb_to_sgvec() [net/core/skbuff.c:5285 (discriminator 1)] Call Trace: skb_to_sgvec() [net/core/skbuff.c:5305] rxgk_decrypt_skb() [net/rxrpc/rxgk_common.h:81] rxgk_verify_response() [net/rxrpc/rxgk.c:1268] rxrpc_process_connection() [net/rxrpc/conn_event.c:266 net/rxrpc/conn_event.c:364 net/rxrpc/conn_event.c:386] process_one_work() [kernel/workqueue.c:3281] worker_thread() [kernel/workqueue.c:3353 kernel/workqueue.c:3440] kthread() [kernel/kthread.c:436] ret_from_fork() [arch/x86/kernel/process.c:164] Reject authenticator lengths that exceed the remaining packet payload.
