CVE-2023-4921 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: sch_qfq component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. When the plug qdisc is used as a class of the qfq qdisc, sending network packets triggers use-after-free in qfq_dequeue() due to the incorrect .peek handler of sch_plug and lack of error checking in agg_dequeue(). We recommend upgrading past commit 8fc134fee27f2263988ae38920bc03da416b03d8.
CVE-2023-4875 | 3 Debian, Mutt, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Mutt, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 2.2 Low |

CVE-2023-4863 | 9 Bentley, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 18 Seequent Leapfrog, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
Heap buffer overflow in libwebp in Google Chrome prior to 116.0.5845.187 and libwebp 1.3.2 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
CVE-2023-4806 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 24 Fedora, Glibc, Codeready Linux Builder Eus and 21 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
A flaw was found in glibc. In an extremely rare situation, the getaddrinfo function may access memory that has been freed, resulting in an application crash. This issue is only exploitable when a NSS module implements only the _nss_*_gethostbyname2_r and _nss_*_getcanonname_r hooks without implementing the _nss_*_gethostbyname3_r hook. The resolved name should return a large number of IPv6 and IPv4, and the call to the getaddrinfo function should have the AF_INET6 address family with AI_CANONNAME, AI_ALL and AI_V4MAPPED as flags.
CVE-2023-4732 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 12 Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.7 Medium |
A flaw was found in pfn_swap_entry_to_page in memory management subsystem in the Linux Kernel. In this flaw, an attacker with a local user privilege may cause a denial of service problem due to a BUG statement referencing pmd_t x.
CVE-2023-4641 | 2 Redhat, Shadow-maint | 10 Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64, Codeready Linux Builder For Ibm Z Systems and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.7 Medium |
A flaw was found in shadow-utils. When asking for a new password, shadow-utils asks the password twice. If the password fails on the second attempt, shadow-utils fails in cleaning the buffer used to store the first entry. This may allow an attacker with enough access to retrieve the password from the memory.
CVE-2023-4623 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: sch_hfsc (HFSC qdisc traffic control) component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. If a class with a link-sharing curve (i.e. with the HFSC_FSC flag set) has a parent without a link-sharing curve, then init_vf() will call vttree_insert() on the parent, but vttree_remove() will be skipped in update_vf(). This leaves a dangling pointer that can cause a use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit b3d26c5702c7d6c45456326e56d2ccf3f103e60f.
CVE-2023-4622 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's af_unix component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The unix_stream_sendpage() function tries to add data to the last skb in the peer's recv queue without locking the queue. Thus there is a race where unix_stream_sendpage() could access an skb locklessly that is being released by garbage collection, resulting in use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit 790c2f9d15b594350ae9bca7b236f2b1859de02c.
CVE-2023-4611 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 7 High |
A use-after-free flaw was found in mm/mempolicy.c in the memory management subsystem in the Linux Kernel. This issue is caused by a race between mbind() and VMA-locked page fault, and may allow a local attacker to crash the system or lead to a kernel information leak.
CVE-2023-4585 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 116, Firefox ESR 115.1, and Thunderbird 115.1. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4584 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |

This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 102.15, Firefox ESR < 115.2, Thunderbird < 102.15, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4583 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
When checking if the Browsing Context had been discarded in `HttpBaseChannel`, if the load group was not available then it was assumed to have already been discarded which was not always the case for private channels after the private session had ended. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4581 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
Excel `.xll` add-in files did not have a blocklist entry in Firefox's executable blocklist which allowed them to be downloaded without any warning of their potential harm. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 102.15, Firefox ESR < 115.2, Thunderbird < 102.15, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4580 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
Push notifications stored on disk in private browsing mode were not being encrypted potentially allowing the leak of sensitive information. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4578 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
When calling `JS::CheckRegExpSyntax` a Syntax Error could have been set which would end in calling `convertToRuntimeErrorAndClear`. A path in the function could attempt to allocate memory when none is available which would have caused a newly created Out of Memory exception to be mishandled as a Syntax Error. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2.
CVE-2023-4577 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
When `UpdateRegExpStatics` attempted to access `initialStringHeap` it could already have been garbage collected prior to entering the function, which could potentially have led to an exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2. |
